Maybe the best dining experience I have ever had or least
Maybe the best dining experience I have ever had or least the best in a very long time! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I was concerned it wouldn't be enough food but it totally was more than enough. Favorite courses were the 610 BLT Amuse-bouche (perfect start to the meal), carrot cavatelli pasta (wanted to lick the plate) and the bourbon aficionado dessert (loved the smoke effect). The house made sourdough bread and butter plate was addicting. Great place to celebrate something special!

Very interesting atmosphere, rustic but sophisticated. We had a prix fix menu and all courses were perfectly presented. The BLT appetizer is amazing and left us wanting more! Nice cocktails and wine pairings with each course were well chosen. Highly recommend the bourbon aficionado for dessert! It is absolutely amazing! This dining experience was so great. The staff knew exactly how each menu item was presented and did not shy away from questions and recommendations.

Disappointing 25th Wedding Anniversary Dinner It was our first time in Louisville and we were looking forward to celebrating our 25th anniversary at 610. Unfortunately, we should have gone somewhere else. It was a Thursday dinner reservation. No issues with parking. It's in Old Louisville so it doesn't look like your typical restaurant and the signage is very small which can be missed. We walked in and were not greeted. A server came by and I mentioned we had reservations and we were ushered to a table. Our server was very soft spoken that it was hard to hear the quick rundown of the menu. There was no acknowledgement of our anniversary from the reservation email exchange I had with the manager (Liz) nor were we asked if we were celebrating anything. After selecting our dinner choices from the progressive menu and our wine selection, we noticed Liz, the manager, visiting tables. We'll come back to that. Dinner started with a foie gras deconstructed BLT amuse bouchée which was ok, followed by soup that was good , salad (not great), onto the main courses which were ok but not memorable, ending with ok desserts. We were at 610 for 3 hours and during that time, Liz was visiting multiple tables over and over again. There was one large table that she was constantly at and going above and beyond for. The only reason she came to our table is because I made eye contact with her. It was a brief visit asking if everything was ok but again, not asking if we were celebrating anything. After quickly being at our table, she continued visiting the other tables over and over again. It felt like we were being ignored the entire time. Our server came over at the end to ask if we wanted anything else. We asked for the bill and when leaving, just as we arrived, there was no acknowledgment of visiting the restaurant. With the high prices for subpar food and high expectations for service, this was a huge disappointment. There are better restaurants in the Louisville area to visit and enjoy.

This is definitely worth the price of the meal for this stellar of an experience. The building is very low profile and modest. You almost could pass it and not give it a second thought. Inside the space is quiet, reserved and sophisticated. There is a second floor which I am not sure is a private space or just more seating, and an outdoor patio which I definitely would want to come back to sit at in the nicer months. It is a set menu (some courses you do have a choice between two dishes) and you can opt to have a wine pairing or not (I did not because it was mostly white wine the night I was there and I don't really care for white). When you make a reservation they ask if you have any dietary restrictions. I do not, but my date has a seafood intolerance so they made one of the courses vegetarian, which is so great. There are six courses including a tiny amuse bouche of their version of a BLT, which is made with an absolutely succulent piece of pork belly. The courses I selected were: 1) Hamachi Crudo (Cherry Tomatoes, Radish, Kombu, Tomato Water Dashi) 2) Butternut and Black Garlic Agnolotti (Hazelnut, Brown Butter, Goat Cheese, Sage) 3) Seared Scallop (Peanut Pesto, Edamame Grits, King Oyster Mushrooms, Pickled Peppers) 4) Venison (Celery Root, Brussels Sprouts, Cippolini Onion, Haskapberry Jus) 5) Creme Caramel (sorghum, apple, persimmon and black walnut) If I had any critique it would be that the creme caramel was disappointing. It was beautiful and made well, but it had very little sweetness. And believe me, normally that is a good thing because I think most desserts are too sweet, but I dont know, it just wasnt enough? Service was stellar and efficient, without being annoying. A superb experience, I will be back

An experience that lays not just with the food, but the staff. We had to switch our birthday reservation last minute due to driving our sweet cat Luna to the animal hospital. I felt horrible. Manager Anna was not a teensy bit worried about our cancelation, but exceptionally worried about our cat. She went on to ask Luna's name and other questions. Experiencing this human kindness meant the world - especially in that moment. Anna moved our reservation to the next day and made sure we were exceptionally cared for! She paired Neve to be our server (also a cat lover). I was surprised when he asked about Luna! We went on to swap cat photos and names. It was basic human connection - that I feel is often lost in society and certainly in dining experiences. Not at 610. Expect staff to care about you. Due to the cost and the desire to tip 30%+, a meal like 610 happens once a year for us. However, after this experience, we will go to less date nights - just to experience 610 more. This is because of the kind gestures Anna and Neve provided for us during a time of great sorrow. Our sweet cat may have died, but our latest experience at 610 will last forever! Oh, and the food... when coming to view reviews of 610, we are all saying the same dang thang. Order the 5 or 7 course meal. Go with the wine pairing. Arrive hungry, and you won't go wrong. The menu continuously provides innovative flavors curated with passion. A quintessential Louisville favorite. A must. Please, book your reservation now!

Exceptional in every way! The service was wonderful--from my first interactions with Liz, the manager who helped arrange my reservation, to all the helpful and warm interactions with the staff during the meal. The food was exceptional from first bite to dessert. Eager to return!

Couldn't tell you what the food at this restaurant was like, because making a reservation is impossible! They have no online reservation system. Either directly through the restaurant or indirectly through OpenTable or Resy. You are instructed to call the restaurant directly. When you do you get a voice recording that says "Leave all your reservation information and if we have availability, we will call you back"! Here are the multitude of problems with that approach. First, they don't tell you when they will call you back so you have no idea when they will grace you with a phone call letting you know you've secured a reservation. You don't even know if they properly received your message. To be clear, I left a message and never heard back! When I actually called the restaurant during business hours, no one answered! You get the same weird, outgoing, voicemail message. I've heard chef Edward Lee is an amazing talent, too bad the restaurant is run like a poorly organized lemonade stand.

So much food too! We had the 5-course tasting and portions were very generous. My group enjoyed the food. Only thing was everything came out super slow. Our meal took way over 3 hours. I had to ask if they could speed it up a bit as it was creeping towards 11pm (our reservation was 7.30pm). I thought the meal was very reasonably priced for what we got. Service was decent. Enjoyable all around!

Absolutely one of the best meals/experiences ever!! Great end to a great day in Louisville. Our waiter was amazing and attentive. After the first course we thought there was no way it could get better but each serving added and out did the one before. We had four people and did one drink pairing for each couple. The pairings were perfect and splitting was the perfect amount for us. Don't be in a hurry. Our meal took 2 and a half hours but flew by!! Savor every minute! Just really enjoyed and would recommend to all
