Good service, disappointing food/flavors
Service is good, quantity is good, fresh food but ridiculously disappointing flavors and overly priced for mediocre "pretend to be" Indian food Born in North India, living in The UK I am in Columbus. Visited Aab, reading their write up on their website with a high expectation. Assuming it would be close to or as authentic as it can be to India I must say we were really disappointed with the taste and flavors. It perplexes me how Aab has won awards, and moreso who has given them. They either do not know what north indian food tastes like or it is one of those "A con eyed is the king, in the kingdom of the blind" How is the foof even close to Punjabi food. Far from it. Just because it says it is family run does not make it Indian, just because you have colourful photos on website and brag about your origins claiming it from Amritsar also does not make it Indian, as well stating you have won awards does not make it Indian. It is simply nowhere close. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking high authentic taste. You need to research and there are a couple of restaurants way better and closer to the authentic taste. Avoid this restaurant.

Was looking for a restaurant that was open on Memorial Day. I have been talking about trying to Indian food for some time and today was my lucky day! I had the Paneer Nan (Tasted the garlic Nan and it was better) that was fresh and tasty. My dinner was Chicken Choley and the flavor and heat (medium) were spot on!! I hope to visit this restaurant again some day! GO! Enjoy!!

Attended a post-wedding dinner recently. I'm not overly familiar with Indian food so I may have missed the names of some items. I do remember the Nan and Garlic Nan which we could use to soak up the Chicken Masala or Lamb stew (don't recall exactly which Lamb offering, but it was delicious).
Vegetarian options were available - Saag Kofta and Malai Kofta with their accompanying spinach, or onion side dishes.
For dessert I tried the Raita, which I found delicious. Others tried the chutney or a pickle dish.
It may have been the company more than the food, but our party gorged themselves - I had no complaints and heard none about the food or service.
It was just okay for me
Stopped in for their lunch buffet recently, my first time visiting them.
I've got to admit, I normally am not one for a buffet, especially an Indian buffet. I know what I like, I like it a certain spice level on the hotter side, so I usually just order from a menu. Since this was my first time here, I decided to sample the buffet to try them out. For $11.50 before tip, I would have expected a little larger selection, but it was pretty limited.
The food was just "ok". Nothing really stood out to me as if to say, "I want to come back and order just this off the menu." And the price I considered fairly high for their limited selection of lunch items. I will stick with my usual Indian places in the future.
Again, it wasn't bad, but it was nothing to write home about, for me at least.
Misleading closing time
Called ahead for closing time. Advised to be there by 10:15pm closing 10:30. Arrived at 9:45 and fed parking meter out front. The bartender said “sorry” just finished last seating. When reminded we called ahead, he stated the “ times changed”. Have been here many times over the past 4+ years and owner when present always greeted us and very pleasant. Food has always been excellent. Friday May 16,2021. We will still come back however.

Delicious Indian Food! Went here with friends the other night and really enjoyed the food and large portions. The service was mediocre, often waiting for refills or having to remind of items we ordered. Obviously plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Lots of gluten free options, however no dedicated gluten free menu or menu marking. Plenty of off street meter parking and a little patio that would be great pending the weather. Despite the service, will definitely try again because the food was so delicious!

This was our second time here and again, the food was delicious. Nice selection of Indian cuisine, as well as vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed their meals from appetizers to entrees. We were too stuffed to eat dessert! They do have a bar for wine, cocktails, Indian beers. My stomach wasn't up to a full menu that night so I had the Aloo Tikki appetizer which was good, but just a little more spicy than expected. The Dal soup was delicious and hit the spot. The breads are very good. I ordered plain Naan which went very well with my soup and there was enough to bring home. Excellent food. I just wish I felt better to eat more than what I had!

Whenever we are in the Bexley area we eat at the AAB restaurant there. Cozy, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and consistently delicious food make it a favorite for lunch (buffet) or dinner. Staff are always ready to describe or explain the preparation so it's easy to make a decision. You really can't go wrong with whatever! Get the AAB dinner or lunch buffet to try a few choices.

We had dinner here one night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Looked like they had a lunch-time buffet but that night they had only menu items. There was a good selection of dishes including vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes. Bread was good, portions huge. We went on the lower spice end, and the dishes were still nicely flavored.

Ash Indian restaurant was great. The waiter helped us in determining our order and the service was superb. A wonderful evening dinner

Had the chicken tikka masala, Aab India special and garlic naan. The portions are large; we probably over ordered but it's ok, we had enough for 3 more meals with the leftovers. Medium spice level was perfect; just hot enough to be spicy and enjoyable but not like you're struggling to get through your meal. Everything was so fresh and flavorful! The best was the lamb curry; I'm salivating right now just thinking about it. Service was a little slow to start, we sat around probably 15 minutes with closed menus and had to ask for service. Once we had our order taken, service was great, waters refilled throughout the meal and service with a smile. Can't wait to come back!

I love this place - best Indian food in town (in my opinion). Very reasonably priced and in a great location right on Grandview Avenue. While everything I have had there is delicious, my absolute favorite thing is the dal soup!
