Great food
I had diner and everything was just perfect. Staff is very nice and the food is amazing. I’ve had a salmon smoorbrod, it was so so good, so many different layers, and textures. I also had the beef and it was also absolutely delicious. Prices are really affordable. And the restaurant looks very nice. Highly recommend

Enjoyed our visit, arrived on a busy Sunday lunch time without a reservation and we were offered seats at the bar. The decor is beautiful, staff and food excellent but portions are on the small side and it’s not cheap.

When reading about 1921, I couldn't imagine how the "simple" smorbrod could win such praise. " Come on, it's just an open face sandwich". I am now eating my words. The food here is magic, far and away above "simple". Creative, delicious, dynamic flavors. Combinations that knock your socks off. From the smorbrod to desserts, talent oozes and diners are lucky. Even the espresso is memborable (and a must). As foodies, living in Paris, it made me look at food through a fresh , new and creative lens. To take a national "dish" to these heights should be the challenge for any chef. Thanks to Aamanns 1921 for one of our best food memories. At age 76 , and many meals, I hope this is a compliment. One more added delight. Veronica, our waitress, was absolutely wonderful, if not completely adorable. Warm, helpful and with a terrific sense of humor. The service she provided was a cherry on top of a remarkable eating experience.

I had an interesting week with Aamanns1921 last week and I am now an ex-customer. On Monday, December 18 I had lunch with a colleague. We picked some open sandwiches from the memu, some beers and some snaps. All in all a very nice meal with really good service. On Friday, December 22 I was back with my wife and our best friends from Norway. I had chosen to come back to Aamanns1921 based on the Monday experience. I made the wrong choice. After arriving, we looked at the menu. 3 of us wanted the Christmas Lunch menu (a six course menu with fish, shrimps, duck and a dessert). I wanted to go for a couple of open sandwiches as I did not have that much of an appetite and I do not like seafood. We ordered the 3 menus, no problem. When I tried to order my selection we were told that all guests would need to order the menu, no exceptions. I was close to exploding as 1) we had not been told in advance, 2) it was not indicated in the printed menu and 3) I did not like 4 of the 6 courses in the menu. In order to preserve the good spirits at the table, I ended up having to accept the menu, feeling forced into making this choice. No need to add that I was feeling mistreated, feeling that this was more about what was practical for the restaurant, not about what the guest wanted. During the meal one of my guests kept asking the waiter to reconsider. Eventually he said he would check with the kitchen to see whether it was possible. He ended up bringing me one of the open sandwiches that I had originally asked for. So, Aamanns1921, guess what. You lost a repeat customer. There are other restaurants serving very nice traditional Danish lunch and I will take my business there because… - You are a high-end restaurant where I expected to be able to make my own choices when it comes to the food I want to eat - Nowhere did it say that the choice of the six course menu required all guests tomake the same choice. We were only told as we tried to order - The special occasion we had looked forward to was now partly spent discussing and digesting the bad experience - You forced me into choosing an expensive menu at 625 dkk instead of two open sandwiches at a total of 310 dkk…and making me pay for the open sandwich you eventually agreed to serve, an extra 175 dkk - Making the customer fit into the restaurant’s need for efficient processes on the floor and in the kitchen is - to me- getting your priorities wrong. If there was a trade-off in the form of low prices then it might be OK, but that is not the case here when your entire set-up signals a high-end experience, Michelin level food, etc. etc. - In the end you gave me what I originally wanted, but managed to lose my trust completely. My conclusion is, of course, that it actually was possible to get what I wanted. It would have been so much better if we had started there. I did end up giving the waiter a tip due to him eventually delivering on my initial choice. I am pretty sure he was just following orders from the restaurant manager when restricting our initial choice. So, that was a story about starting the week as a satisfied customer and ending the week deciding not to come back and even taking the time to share this experience.
A spot of lunch
On the slightly pricey side, but we had great service and fantastic food. We shared three open sandwiches and they were delicious.
A Pleasant but underwhelming dinner.
A pleasant restaurant, poor acoustics but very friendly and professional service. We were a couple and 1 had the Christmas tasting menu and the other the green menu. Overall presentation was very basic, and the dishes pleasant but not outstanding. There were some quite heavy overpowering creamy sauces, and not what we were expecting in a Michelin star restaurant.
Nice restaurant, ok food. Maybe it was just my smørrebrød.
The restaurant is nice and the service is friendly. To my dissappointment, only three meat smørrebrøds to choose from. I chose the pork one and it was just ok. The rye bread did not work on this one. And the flavors in general did not complement each other. Maybe it was just me. But since the reviews were so go, a dissappointment.

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

Idk if this is related to the unsold listing % rule but I have listed 6 reservations and sold 5 of them and my unsold listing percentage is ~45%. For some reason the unsold listings have not been converted into sold ones. Does this happen only after the payment is released following the booking or is it an issue that needs to be addressed?

Forget trying to snipe reservations online by waking up early and booking top restaurants at Carbone or Tatiana or Cote or 4Charles. After 2.5 months of booking reservations by setting up alarms, waking up early to sell appointments. It’s very hard to cash out on this app. During cash out, you have to pay $5 fee +3% transactions fee and max payout per day is $150.
Advice to new users:
- do not mass book reservations
- fill bids only
- don’t try to book reservations online, you need connections and call the restaurant
After putting in about 40 hours of work, I’ve made about $750 sale on this platform but gotten paid $0. Take this with a grain of salt.

Has anyone found a way to get a question answered? From what I can tell there is no way to get in touch with anyone that works at/for AT. Other than the occasional admin posting a consultation offer here and there they are non existent. A lot of people have the same issue I have where we cannot cash out earnings. I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I've reached out to customer support about this several times with no response, not sure what to do in this station. Hoping someone can advise.
