Excellent typical experience
Good food, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice place with a homely and comfortable atmosphere. Fair price in relation to the quality.

Traditional cuisine done in an amazing way, with maximum courtesy. There is all the love for the work they do, you can feel it and see it. If you come to Florence, drop by. It will give you one more reason to return to this splendid city
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Tuscan cuisine
Out of the tourist tide and tourist food, an excellent Florentine trattoria with refined and tasty food. Not so far from the centre, it is definitely worth a few extra steps. The only flaw is that the tables are a bit crowded. Still worth the trip.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent dinner in the center of Florence
Very characteristic restaurant in the center (not far from the synagogue), with extremely friendly staff, serving typical Tuscan cuisine. Great service for really great food. Highly recommended!

Great place to eat good homemade food with a very helpful team. The advantage also of being off the beaten track.
Be the first to ReplyGreat snack
We went to this lovely Tuscan trattoria for a quick snack while waiting for the start of a show at the La Pergola theatre. A shared Tuscan appetizer and a good ribollita, all accompanied by a glass of excellent wine. Fast and attentive service, warm and welcoming environment, honest bill. We will be back to try other dishes too!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful authentic Tuscan restaurant that is a hidden gem.
Wonderful family run restaurant that is off the beaten path. We went there at the recommendation of our son's Italian teacher. If you go, make certain to try the raw artichoke salad if it is on the menu or the Acqua Cotta Mammarema. That soup was excellent. All the other dishes we saw being served looked wonderful as well. Make certain that you stop by and make a dinner reservation or ask your hotel to make one for you. Walk-ins are usually turned away by the owner. The food was very tasty and a good value for your money. I look forward to returning to eat there when we return to Florence in the future.

Just loved this little neighbourhood restaurant of the Santa Croce. The lovely proprietress squeezed my family in on this busy pre-New Year’s Saturday, and we were most impressed . Such an appealing and rather extensive menu of Italian and Florentine dishes, that it was rather hard to decide. Rabbit, pork and wild boar were all great, with beautiful potato, bean and spinach sides. Wonderful tira mi su and cheesecake desserts too, and a most acceptable house red wine. This was a really lovely meal.

Good overall perception when I arrived. I could see the kitchen on thé way to my table. I odered some ravioles that were good. The wine and tiramisu were also good. The two waitresses were nice and profesional.

We stayed next door and our landlord recommended we not miss it. We went twice over a week's visit to Florence and enjoyed both meals. First visit: spinach salad with Parmesan and black truffles, goat cheese with pears, walnuts and honey, baked cod with chickpea purée, tagliatelle with beef ragu. Second visit: Vegetable terrine, salad and bifsteak Florentine, grape tart (one of our best meals on a month's visit to Italy.)

Our landlord recommended this as a good, local, family-run spot. We were not disappointed. Ate here two nights in a row. Great service, reasonable prices.
