An oasis
The Alemagou is located on its own beach in its own bay. The location is absolutely top-notch. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful clubs in Mykonos. The club is very manageable and is different from the clubs where deckchairs are lined up next to deckchairs. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed. However, it is worth mentioning that we caught a day with absolutely no wind. The food was good and the staff were in a good mood, probably because it was the last week of the season. This review therefore does not apply to high season.

I visited the restaurant in early September. Nice environment, if empty on a Sunday afternoon. I am allergic to garlic and truffle and I informed them and their answer was that there is no dish that does not have garlic, because everything is prepared in advance and they cannot do anything about it. Expensive and without being able to give you a solution. So you go to the other end to eat and they tell you to eat fries!? Simply unacceptable. This has never happened to me before in a restaurant of this level.
Be the first to ReplyIt's not worth the visit.
Terrible service and rude waiters. Normal food and drinks: ok. Music/DJ not very lively. I didn't find the place interesting.
Be the first to ReplyCustomer cash machine
After having lunch at the beach club restaurant for 7 people, we wanted to join our friends who had rented two mattresses for the day. When it was 5 p.m., we were forced to take two chairs at 40 euros each for roughly an hour of beach time. The young woman who billed us on the beach didn't even bother to give us a smile. She seems bored and has no consideration for the customers. The customer is just a cash machine.
Be the first to ReplyOVERRATED PLACE WITH A CLASSISM SERVICE
The worst place I went in Mykonos, we had a reservation for a late lunch, we arrived there the hostess couldn’t find our booking, looked at us from head to toe, like if we would not be worth entering the club, she made us look for our email to show that we actually had a reservation. We got to our table, the waiter was very pushy trying to make us order a lot of food from menu and poring wine and water no stop so they could bring more wine to table and make the bill higher, he kept reminding us that we could only stay for 1 & 1/2 hr on our table, as there was another booking after ours, I felt extremely uncomfortable at Alemagou, and was even more disappointed when the waiter asked for tips, and even suggested that we gave a 12% tip, tipping is not compulsory and should be at the patrons discretion. The food and the wine weren’t too bad, but way too expensive for what we got. After lunch we stayed for the party, the DJ wasn’t the best, and not one was dancing, honestly this place is so overrated for what it offers, I spent 3 weeks travelling around Greece and for sure Alemagou was the worst place I went to.
Be the first to ReplyHostile reception!
When you arrive a guy with the manners of a tough nightclub bouncer aggressively demands 10 euros to park on an empty windswept area of dirt outside the restaurant. He calls himself a ‘ vallet’. I said I was fine to park on my own but was told that I needed to drive 150 meters out of his near empty car park domaine and walk back. I queried this with the reception staff who were fully in support of that arrangement so I cancelled my lunch and went somewhere welcoming. Good luck to those who are prepared to suffer this sort of service.

My friends and I really enjoyed it! Beautiful view. Service at the highest level. Delicious cocktails, my favorite was the signature Alemagou cocktail. There is a very good restaurant on the beach (you need to book a table in advance). Sun beds also need to be booked in advance and you should go to the beach before 11, because after 12 everything is busy. Sunbed rental cost 60€ . For lunch in the restaurant we ordered lobster pasta for 200 euros, the portion was very large, there were 5 of us. Also there was a very tasty salad with strawberries. We visited several other beach clubs, but we liked this one the most! It is recommended to come for the whole day until late in the evening after 5 p.m, when the restaurant turns into a club.
Be the first to ReplySuch poor service
Myself and my boyfriend were really looking forward to this place. Unfortunately we received really poor service and would never come back. First of all we attended the beach and were told there were no sunbeds left with parasols, even though we booked one month in advance. We were given one of the last drabs of shadeless sunbeds right at the back. We had lunch booked for 2.30pm but we're not called when our table was ready so we made our own way into the restaurant/bar area. There's no shelter from the wind in this place so sat in the lounge part. Sofas are hard but tolerable to sit on. We sat and waited for someone to attend the table with menus, after 25 minutes of being seated, around 6 waiting staff frequently passing by we had to get up and ask for menus ourself. We then waited another 30 minutes for someone to come to take our order. Tables at either side of us were seated and accommodated well but we were ignored. Again I had to get up and ask for our order to be taken. It had been 1 hour since we were seated and we were only just ordering. Baring in mind the restaurant wasn't busy (planty of free tables) and lots of waiting staff. We then waited at least 30 minutes for food to arrive. Again, tables at either side gave their orders after us but received all their food first. We ordered bread and olives to start, sea bream & orzo & chicken skewer. The olives and bread arrived 10 minutes after starting our main meals rather than as a starter which was strange and not something you would expect. I will say the food was really good. The chicken was so flavourful and the fish was fresh, but there wasn't enough of it in the orzo dish to really call it a fish dish. We waved the waiter 4 times (they saw us but didn't come over) before having to raise our voices to catch them to get the bill. No one then came over to ask how we wished to pay so 20 minutes more of waiting I had to get up and walk to the counter to pay the bill. We were also charged for a full bottle of water, and had half a glass each. Not once we're we topped up with water of left the bottle to have it ourselves. Overall we're really disappointed in the service and feel like it was such a waste of money and time. We would have gone to another beach club if we knew it would be this bad. If I could have not paid them, then I would have. You don't expect to go somewhere like this and get such rubbish service and rude, inattentive staff. We would be happy to be contacted by management to discuss our experience.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing place! Awesome food, music and service
Amazing experience. Stunning food. The service was first class. Great drinks, really good music and vibe. Highly recommended. A brilliant night.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect dining experience - incredible food - innovative, gorgeously presented, tastes amazing. Wow!
Divine in every sense - incredible view and architecture, friendly and attentive service - and oh my, they can cook! Incredible food! Just perfect. Thank you for the lovely evening, and kudos on creating such a special place! 🙏 Highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyBest beach club in Mykonos
This was for us the best beach club in Mykonos. It’s more on the chilled side but very stylish with great vibe and ambience
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful spot, excellent service, average restaurant
Spent the day here towards the end of September, so it was the end of the season, it felt a lot quieter and smaller than other beach clubs. The service was still great! Beach itself is rocky, so not sure if I would return just on that. You do have to pay for parking, which is funny since you're spending money at the beach club and restuarant, but it seems like all beach clubs in Mykonos are like this. The cocktails, particularly the Alemagou pornstar martini is to die for! The restaurant is good, but extremely overpriced. I ordered a 45 euro truffle pasta, that did not even come with any shaved truffle. This felt like a rip off, and the lunch was over 200 euro. The mussels however were delicious! Overall it was a good experience because the service was so great, but maybe wouldn't have lunch here.

We never made it to the beach being frustrated nu the aggresive parking congierge. He won’t listening to our inquiries about the place. He seemed doped or something.

Me and my husband were on a 3 days city break in mykonos. On our 2nd night we looked for a beach party and read that on Mondays at Allemagou there is a dj set. No reservation was needed to attend it. When we got there, of cours the girls at the entrance checked us out, but let us in and they were nice. We talked to the person who was in charge of the table reservations at the restaurant and asked if to let us know when a table was free to had dinner. Between 7-8 p.m the place was really getting crowded, the restaurant too. I kept telling the man not to forget about us. Then we saw 2 tourist who were also trying to get a table at the restaurant, but the mamager told them that we have been waiting for almost an hour to dine so we have priority. So...what we did we talked to the other 2 and teamed up, because we thought that a table for 4 is easier to get. In half an hour we were all 4 sitting and having dinner. I had the risotto with feta which was absolutely delicious, my husband had the fries with truffles...the portions were big enough, the food delicious, the service was really quick. The music was great. The vibe was a really positive with such good energy. People were dancing, smiling...by 12 o clock at night we had left but it was such a lovely experience. I had doubts when i read some reviews, but for us it was a great night with lovely people and I would love to go back for the day to enjoy the beach and the sun.
Be the first to ReplyDon't book in a group and expect to get sunbeds for everyone!
Nice place, beach is decent but very windy. Service staff very nice. Note that if booking in a group that per person DOES NOT mean one sunbed per person. We booked for 14 people, months in advance and were told on arrival in the morning we would get maximum 10 sunbeds and then 4 deck chair type things. Absolutely ridiculous and seems to be unique on the island yet they don't think it is worth mentioning when making the booking confirmation. As such I can't recommend coming here to pay 60 euros per person for a sunbed and then not even get a sunbed that was reserved months in advance (deck chairs are 40 euro per person, yay thanks but no thanks). Many other far superior places to take some sun and beach time in Mykonos.
Be the first to ReplyTruly the best spot in all of mykonos
This place is mind blowingly incredible! The food is the best food I’ve had in all of Europe. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and very efficient. The drinks are stunning and delicious. They even offer non alcoholic mocktails for non drinkers. It’s tucked away in a private cove with stunning views and a cliff to climb! The DJ plays vibey beats while you dance with your toes in the sand. You MUST go here while visiting mykonos! We came here with 20 family members to celebrate our moms 50th! Such a great day
Be the first to ReplyA nice choice
Very nice place with delicious dishes and nice cocoa The atmosphere is amazing and it goes with the flow of Mykonos island The prices are very reasonable and your wallet won’t get hurt
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointing
We were a group of 3 girls and we booked both the sun beds and restaurant after hearing good reviews. When we got there however, they only gave us 2 sun beds and then added a CHAIR. When we asked to get an extra sun bed we were told that everything was reserved and that we could not get one even though we also had a reservation. After some complaints, the manager came and had a very rude attitude. He showed us another spot which was terribly located with no umbrellas and with a lot of wind. He then aggressively told us “ok so do you want it or not?” and turned around and left without another word. We then attempted to ask for an extra sun bed again before we were rudely shut down and insisted on the fact that it was not possible. However 5 minutes later, another group of 3 girls arrived and the servers immediately added an extra sun bed for them. (Important to note that they were topless). We later saw another group get extra beds and they also had some girls going topless. After seeing this we asked again if it was possible to get another sun bed seeing that other groups we’re getting them but we were again told that it was not possible due to all of the reservations. Although the waiters were not necessarily at fault they did not make any efforts and started talking behind our backs in Greek when we had complained around and left without another word. However the restaurant had a very good service and I would recommend going.
Be the first to ReplyAlemagou… little gem of the Aegean
Alemagou… a little gem of the Aegean. A place to watch the sun set and sun rise (depending on when you choose to leave the party). A classy and unpretentious place with soulful DJ sets, run smoothly by an Adonis looking manager whose team are always gracious and warm, unlike all other beach clubs in Mykonos. This is by far the best spot on the island.
Be the first to ReplyEXTREME ARROGANCE - CUSTOMERS TAKEN FOR IDIOTS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This place made us feel extremely unwelcome. We asked our hotel to book for us to have drinks and watch the sunset. When we arrived we were placed at a tiny table in the most remote corner inside the restaurant set for dinner. We said that is is not what we had reserved. We indicated that we wanted a table outside to have drinks and see the sunset. We were replied that it was not possible because there was a minimum of consumption per table and that we could just sit at the bar and walk around while no seats were available at the bar and the waitress could see it with her own eyes, and there was no point in walking around! Big attitude and a lot of contempt! Who do they think they are? This is one of those Fake Mykonos places that MUST BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS! There are other places to have a drink and watch the sunset.
Be the first to ReplyCool Bohemian Vibe!
Alemagou Beach Bar is a little bit off the road, but worth the drive. It has a cool bohemian vibe and all the staff wear baggy cotton loose fitting clothing that adds to the experience. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to utilize the sun beds and beach because it was incredibly windy that day. This was not the result of the beach club's location, it was due to the fact that it was windy everywhere on the island. But we did spend a few hours lounging, eating and drinking. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good!

The staff were great, the drinks were great, the food was great. Amazing!!! Love the atmosphere. The only downside is they allow smoking, but other than that it was a wonderful time. Great deep house music as well! The clam spaghetti is impeccable.
Be the first to ReplyA taste of heaven
We visited Alemagou on a fabulous day in early October and it made quite an impression on us. The setting on the beach was idyllic, balearic house was on their excellent sound system, everything we ordered was delicious (though not cheap) and life was good. Mykonos at its finest.
