Double billed one couple
It was a reasonable evening with a $150 dollar charge. They added a $30 service charge which is unusual for a party of 4. It turns out they double billed our friends $360. Nothing for us. While I appreciate that.... they have asked all of us to pay our share of the total amount without any reduction for inconvenience. While you may think I'm being unreasonable, I've had Bills partially comped for far less inconvenience. I am paying the bill, but with a sense of displeasure.

Not great. We went there pre-show. Food took 40 min and the place was empty. I had the tournedos, and it was beef, yes, but with a weird texture. We wonโt be back.
Be the first to ReplyGreat for a pre-show dinner!
This was a great spot for a pre-show dinner. Definitely make a reservation for your preferred time as this is a smaller restaurant and it was quite busy. We got a few "starter" plates to share and everything was delicious. The crispy brussels sprouts were a standout, as was the crab cake. We saw lots of entrees go by to other tables and were impressed with the portions. The table next to us got the skirt steak and they seemed audibly impressed as well. For dessert we shared the cheesecake and it was the perfect flavor and texture, and served with a flair. Our server was friendly and attentive, as were the other staff. We left very satisfied, and are looking forward to being back in the future.
Be the first to ReplyLoved it for quick drink
Getting off the ferry and before our flight we wanted to have one last drink in Boston and glad we chose the Artisan Bistro. Had my first ever CBD cocktail, I believe it was called Midnight Kyoto - not amazing to be honest, but just for the aspect of having CBD in it was cool, also was the first time I saw CBD available in a cocktail. Very friendly bar tenders. Would definitely return and recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyAverage and overpriced
Arrived at 4:45 and were told the bar menu was ending in 15 minutes (rush, rush); but we couldn't yet order from the dinner menu which starts at 5 - a bit weird, but we ended up going with dinner. Menu isn't extensive. We had a change of waiters and our second person was exuberantly friendly but for got my husband's main course until we reminded him. By then it had clearly been sitting under the heat lamps for some time.

Good a-la-carte breakfast with freshly prepared dished of high quality. Very attentive and quick service.
Be the first to ReplyTook great care of my on my birthday for Sunday brunch
I had made a reservation ahead of time and let them know it was my birthday. They brought balloons and gorgeous chocolates to the table to celebrate the occasion. The service was absolutely stellar, including each staff member. And the meal was excellent. I chose items not likely to get elsewhere and it was fantstic. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyWarning: leave lots of time if you are going to theatre!
This was a last minute reservation following a theatre performance in the neighborhood. We dine out frequently but hadn't been to Artisan Bistro in several years. It seemed like a safe choice but it quickly became clear why, on such a busy evening, this restaurant had availability. We were promptly seated but that was the last bit of acceptable service. We weren't greeted by a server or asked for a drink order or even served water until we flagged one of several waitstaff wandering in the small dining room. The restaurant was not busy and there were several employees that seemed free. When we remarked to each other that things seemed very slow, a couple at a neighboring table said "just wait, it gets worse." Sadly, they were correct and things slid downhill from there. This evening was a vivid example of how good service slides seamlessly into the background, poor service annoyingly takes center stage and radically impacts the quality of an evening. We were grateful that this dinner followed the theatre, if we needed to make a curtain, our annoyance would have become full blown distress. I rarely write a negative review but there was no excuse (and no apology offered) for this poor service at a Ritz Carleton location.

We had a dinner planned elsewhere but started with a cocktail here and we were very pleased. The cocktails were well crafted and delicious. Our waiter, Eugen, was pleasant and friendly.
