Aruba Beach Cafe Fort Lauderdale Reviews from The Last Year
Great location, good food, but tables are to close together
April 2024, came here with friends and we sat at a table inside by the window overlooking the beach. One thing I noticed is that the tables are not spaced out, they are too close together which make it uncomfortable to move in and out of your seat. Our Server was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I ordered the Classic Burger with fries. The Burger was good, and the fries were nice and crispy. My friend ordered the Coconut Fried Shrimp that was crispy and not greasy. All and all, the food was good with a great location. The only drawback was the noise, the bathroom (women) that was too small, and the tables are too close together.
Nice meal!
You can have indoor or outdoor seating; service was quick, food was excellent. Shrimp scampi was wonderful, a little pricey, did not come with any sides ( bread/salad). Strawberry field salad was wonderful. Loud when you first walk in, can be seated in "back" where it is a little quieter.
Absolute worst service, and food quality
Very poor service, food took an hour and was served cold, server was no where to be found. This place was a big disappointment. I would not recommend this place, and if I could give them zero stars, I would.
Thank you Aruba's for another amazing Meal and experience
Thank you Aruba's for another amazing Meal and experience in LBTS! The fried calamari were delicious perfectly breaded and the dipping sauce flavorful! My coconut shrimp appetizer I had as my meal and was as delicious as I remember! The sweet chili sauce was a perfect match not too spicy! My key lime Pie was a delight- light and tart ! My daiquiri was great - initially it had no flavor and when I mentioned that a replacement one was brought and it was a great addition to this beautiful landscape and meal! Our wait server was pleasant and helped us as needed with the drink replacement and getting a condiment.

We all enjoyed our food! I had fish tacos and they were great! The young girls at the front desk were not friendly and were mostly visiting with each other and pretty much had grouchy faces like they were not happy. Our waitress was super friendly and very good! We liked her a lot! I know it must be difficult to get good help but it seems someone who is friendly and welcoming should be at the front desk greeting guests who could have easily gone to another place to spend their hard-earned money for dinner.

It's more than a cafe: a very busy restaurant with three bar islands and, at least two hostess up front. On this Monday at 2pm, although we're seated inside immediately but it's packed. A live band playing Grateful Dead, before it takes a break or rest. Outdoor section with deck and on the sand, needs a few minutes to be seated. Two hostesses, the short girl (Asian?) ahowws us plenty white eyeballs, and the taller one is very gracious with a smile. The decor isn't too bad for a beach dive. We've: crab cake and PEI Mussels: both are delicious. A few strains of veggies are tasteless (I don't mind) but fresh. The garlic sauce for the mussels is heaven - heavy in oil. The only regret is the bread, it's like hot dog bun, heavy and dead, otherwise I'd finished the mussel sauce. Yup, no one wants to take me out -:( A small parking lot on site. We parked at the adjacent parking lot, $10 for up to three hours.
Fun atmosphere, live music, great food right on the beach
Beautiful setting right on the beach. Great live music, and a terrific atmosphere. Crowds of people having the best time! Menu is not fancy, but everything was fresh and delicious. I had the teriyaki pineapple burger, which was amazing. Also, I could have eaten two orders of their terrific coconut shrimp. We also tried the popular Bimini bread, which was awesome, but better served to a crowd because it’s a whole loaf of bread. Still, no regrets! Would definitely return to Lauderdale By-the-sea. We are staying in Ft Lauderdale, but found this northern town to be super appealing. Worth the drive up there for dinner.

Tonight, three friends and I ended up down in Fort
Tonight, three friends and I ended up down in Fort Lauderdale (We live in PBC), and decided to have dinner at Aruba. I ate here once like 20 years ago, and was excited to see it was still there! The area itself is very congested, with many a restaurant on the corners and not much parking, so be prepared to be patient. First impressions on walking into the restaurant, was that it was hopping! It was so crowded and we thought we were going to have to wait forever for a table, but the restaurant is pretty big, and we were seated right away. In hindsight we should have waited the extra time so that we could have had an outdoor table. They had a live music which is wonderful, but it makes it very hard to hear your party. We ended up yelling to each other across the table most of the evening. We were greeted pretty promptly by our server, and he was very friendly. Twenty years ago I remember there being this delicious bread that you could get as an appetizer, or with your food. And I was so excited to see if it was still on the menu. When I saw it, we quickly ordered an order of Bimini bread! I ordered the ceviche, my friend ordered a hamburger, my other friend ordered the jerk chicken wings and my other friend ordered the potstickers. Everybody was very pleased with their meals! The food tasted delicious! My ceviche was great although they put romaine lettuce in it which I thought was weird. Also the toast points it was served with were soggy. But otherwise the flavor was good. I found the presentation to be lacking on all the dishes aside from the Bimini, bread , and I'm sorry my pictures look weird but they have pink lights in the restaurant. They have a full bar and tons of specialty drinks, but none of us drink so I can't attest to those. All in all the atmosphere was really fun, and when you walk outside you're literally on the beach! I would definitely go back to this restaurant because I feel like the food is something that you can count on. If you're down in Fort Lauderdale, make sure you check this place out!
Aruba is a restaurant bar that offers all the comforts,
Aruba is a restaurant bar that offers all the comforts, from an excellent variety of dishes, drinks and live music. It has an imposing setting facing the sea with a splendor where you can enjoy the transformation of the sunset. a place that is dressed in sighs, ideas, thoughts, emotions. I like the energy of the employees, there is no lack of a spark of humor, deep people who speak with emotion. Excellent service.
On the Commercial street Beach with tables on the beach! Cool! Waitress vey active and good with service.
Nice expensive menu items but the seafood soup is wonderful Like a meal! Many other interesting items on the menu! Also good drinks. Be sure to try one!
Nestled on the stunning beachfront, Aruba Beach Cafe offers
Nestled on the stunning beachfront, Aruba Beach Cafe offers a picturesque setting for dining that comes with a price tag. While the food was enjoyable and the portion sizes generous, the overall experience left a dent in our wallets that we hadn't anticipated. The ambiance of Aruba Beach Cafe is undeniably charming, with the sound of crashing waves and the salty sea breeze adding to the allure. However, it's clear that you're paying for the privilege of dining in such a scenic location. As for the food, it was indeed tasty, and the portion sizes were commendably generous. I opted for the quesadilla, which was flavorful and satisfying. However, despite the ample servings, the steep prices left us feeling a bit disappointed. While the food was good, it didn't quite justify the hefty bill at the end of our meal. In conclusion, while Aruba Beach Cafe offers a lovely atmosphere and hearty portion sizes, the high prices may leave some diners feeling like they didn't quite get their money's worth. If you're willing to splurge for the beachside ambiance, it's worth a visit, but be prepared to pay a premium for the experience.
Best crab cake I ever had and I order them whenever I see
Best crab cake I ever had and I order them whenever I see it in a menu. Also the service was awesome! Our Server Alex let us know the catch of the day could be shared. Delicious!
Great food, great service right in the heart of the action.
Tray the conch soup! A nice dining experience.
Great place but bad bartender
This is one of my favorite places for 20 years! Great food, nice music, and one of the best happy hour in town but the last time the bartender threw me a half-margarita when I ask her she told me that didn't know it was mine but I was with some friends in front I just went to the bathroom! She didn't replace it and i realize that she was doing it with other people at the bar! Also to my friend with a beer and we complained to her, she got upset and yelled at us!! And there she didn’t want to server the drinks and give us such a hard time! Thanks God was other bartender very nice in the same bar! This place is great but a terrible service can ruin the moment!
Worst lunch experience
This has been the absolute worst luncheon experience — we have been here for more than an hour. Ordered upon arrival. Still waiting for food. Appetizer took 30 minutes. Every table around us complaining. The wait staff just keeps apologizing. One indicated the beach tables are getting food first. Children all around us are hungry and have been sitting for a very long time. No one seems to care, just a shrug of the shoulders. Oddly enough there are many empty tables all around
Beautiful Location - But Put Some Alcohol in the Drinks Please
This restaurant has a beautiful location on the beach, although most people were eating inside, which is odd. The food was generally OK, but we don't go to the beach for the food. The service was generally OK, but with room for improvement. The disappointment was our drinks. Two frozen margaritas and you should be feeling it. Didn't.
Too Dark for Me
There are a half dozen or so open air bars and restaurants within a two block radius - this establishment is dark, noisy, and claustrophobic. Of the many choices in Lauderdale by the Sea, it’s my least favorite place. That being said, the Happy Hour fish tacos are really good, the Yuengling draft at $2.50 is great deal, and the wall to wall patrons bring a festive atmosphere to the joint. Still, have a drink and move on, there are better places.
Delicious, fresh seafood with a beautiful view
Went for dinner with a group of 6 on a Saturday night. Arrived around 545pm and were seated right away at a window table overlooking the beach. The staff was friendly, and the drinks came out quickly. We all got a seafood or fish entree and the food was delicious. Everything tasted very fresh, was seasoned nicely, and VERY generous portions. Three people got the Blackened Seafood Trio and said it was amazing. The restaurant is definitely a hot spot and very busy. They don’t take reservations so I think we lucked out with how fast we were seated. But even if you have to wait, there are three bars inside as well as a bunch of places you can walk to while you wait. There is also live music all the time which makes the place a busy spot at night. We have gone a couple of times and it’s always a great time. If you are in LBTS and looking for a local place to enjoy some fresh seafood, highly recommend Aruba’s!
Aruba Café
Great food and staff! We had many apps and great drinks. The music was fun! It’s an easy walk into town and it’s on the beach! What more could you want!
Always a great time!
Came here for lunch after our cruise returned to FLL. This was our third visit to LBTS, and like our fifth or sixth visit to the ABC. We just like it! Atmosphere obviously has a beachy feel, which is great. You can sit outside, or sit inside and still see the beach and ocean. There is frequently live music, which is fun. The menu has lots of great and fresh choices. If possible, try Happy Hour, where the costs are less, the portions a bit smaller, but everything still great!
Great views and location. Food is okay
This is a really popular beachfront spot in the area. The place has not be re decorated in 30 years. It is kind of beat up but the daytime view of the beach is fantastic. If you sit in the main dining room, you get a view of all of the people laying on the beach which is kind of entertaining. The food is okay. It is pricey. They have a crazy happy hour with food and drinks at good prices. There is outside dining and there are 3 bars inside and live music. There are a lot of local barflies here. (The crowd is generally over 50) You can’t beat the location but there are better food options in the area

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Payouts
Anyone know how increase payout transfer to bank as I can only send $50 a day and they charge $5 for every transaction. There must be a way. I’ve contacted support two days ago and not a reply.

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!
