Atlantis Steakhouse Reno Reviews
Visited this steakhouse for dinner while in Reno.
First of all, this place is gorgeous. Was seated in the center of the restaurant. The booths are very luxurious. Their steaks are Allen Brothers of Chicago and mine was cooked perfectly. Dan was incredibly nice and super helpful in providing suggestions. Went here on a whim and had a wonderful experience.
Excellent dining experience from start to finish
Tranquil lobby, prompt seating with reservation, greeted with smiles by entire staff. Expertly guided through the menu by Logan my server. His assistant Nancy kept my water filled and table deftly manicured. Food Excellent. Service was top tier. Appetizer of Prawn Cocktail paired with Chandon Brut. I chose the chicken lentil mushroom vegetable soup which was very flavorful. The evening's special was sliced steak, seabass, prawns, and seasonal vegetables. I paired it with a Justin Cabernet Sauvignon. Loved the table side preparation of Bananas Foster which I paired with an Ice Riesling. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

The restaurant was beautiful from the checkin point to the dining area. Our server was Brad and he had a great sense of humor which you need when I'm out with certain people. He explained the menu and the cocktails/wines etc. the food presentation was artistic and first thing I WANTED to do was take a pic. My cocktail was a Tito's & cranberry and after dinner others had expresso that was presented with a Rock Candy sugar stick & a lemon peel. I was not able to finish my food but I took it home and I did eat it in the middle of the night! We tried other steakhouses in the surrounding casinos but this by far was the BEST .
Amazing !
The dinner was amazing from the service to the ambiance! Joe made great wine choices ! Alex with perfect on the bread and water! We will return! Dot. Forget to grab the lobster bisque.
Date night
Went for a date night, had the incredible experience with Logan and Nancy ! They were dynamic and brilliant team who worked so well together. Making sure our every need was met ! Thank you both from the sassy couple in Hawaiian print ! We will be back just from the 2 of them ! Keep up the great work!
Best Steakhouse in Reno!
Atlantis Steakhouse is my definite go-to for special occasions. The food is exceptional as well as the ambiance and service. I've been here for a few times specifically on my birthdays & anniversaries and I highly recommend checking it out, if you love good food. Cristina, Zarrie & Maria were hands down the best servers there & they don't miss every time. Mr. Ali is also very attentive to all of the customers which I appreciate. I haven't tried anything here that I didnt like. :)
Great dining Experience

I will start by noting the positives.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable. The suggested wine was a perfect paring. The staff was happy and accommodating. The food took a very long time to come out. After waiting for an hour we were told that there was a shortage of cards for the tableside service

This was my third time dining at the Atlantis Steakhouse,
This was my third time dining at the Atlantis Steakhouse, for many years found near the top of Reno's highest-rated restaurants, but, unfortunately, it only reinforced my impression of Reno's general dining mediocrity, and of the mediocrity of this restaurant in particular. My visit got off to a bad start when the hostess asked me if, as a singleton, I wouldn't mind eating at the bar, despite the fact that I'd made a table reservation for an early hour. Yes, I very much would mind. If it's their general restaurant policy to ask single diners such an impertinent question, it's a very bad policy. It's a $$$$ restaurant, not some cheap breakfast joint. Single diners almost invariably get the very short end of the stick as it is. We know you get much more money when a four-top has four diners. You don't need to remind us. Having established that the bar was not, in fact, acceptable, they quickly made up a table. Despite an absence of several years, I found the menu very little changed--if at all--from previous visits...never a particularly promising sign for a very high-end restaurant. Nevertheless, I decided to sample some dishes I'd never tried on previous occasions. The bacon-wrapped scallop appetizer with a pineapple relish I quite enjoyed. Probably the single best dish I've ever had at this restaurant. Likewise, the soup of the day--some kind of thick potato, crab and leek chowder--was good. My Steak Diane--one of the house specialties--was a disappointment, though. Per tradition, it's prepared table-side and makes for a good show with a dramatic flambé, and it was appetizingly plated with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, I found the whole dish wonderfully bland. The meat needed more seasoning, and the sauce needed A LOT more seasoning, as it tasted of nothing at all except heavy cream. The meat was cooked correctly, but I couldn't help thinking I could have made a more flavorful dish myself at home. I'd initially thought to do wine by the glass, but the prices for any wine by the glass proved to be completely cuckoo. I eventually opted for a half-bottle for which the markup was, of course, very large, but more in keeping with what you'd expect at a white-tablecloth restaurant. In sum, it was overall a good meal, and the service was attentive, so I have no complaints on that score; however, I expect something much more memorable--more than just "good"--at this price point...something I couldn't have done at home.
My server was great and my food was awesome!
I recently dined solo at Atlantis Steakhouse and was initially a bit disappointed to be seated at the bar, as I was looking forward to experiencing the tableside presentations. However, my experience was completely elevated thanks to Ingrid, who was an exceptional server. She checked on me frequently and made me feel truly welcome and comfortable throughout the evening. Her attentive and warm service turned the night into a memorable one. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

2 couples - escargot, scallops, tuna tartar, abalone for appetizers - sea bass and bone in New York family style! All was delicious and filling. $107 each with 4 drinks out the door! We would go again!
I've been coming here for years.
It's always been a very pleasant experience. This last time was after a few years after my last visit, the cuisine was slightly different and the cost was nearly doubled. The servers were Logan and Nancy, and they were okay. Not like the old joker Alex who used to be our "go-to" server. These two were so serious and I felt a little rushed into my order. This place had a fun vibe, and being a customer here normally meant you'd be in for a sweet treat and wonderful ride. The bread that came out was dry and slightly stale. That used to be my favorite part. I gotta admit this last visit felt more like a used car dealership. No offense to my servers but you need to bee a little more cool when providing service here. Table spacing, presentation, when to remove silverware all felt unnatural and clumsy. We ordered a crab cake appetizer. A lot going on in there didn't taste like crab, but I think it's okay. Steak Diane is prepared in front of your table with a nice little fire show. I got the filet mignon and I added the Alaskan King crab. $110 for two short and bland legs. Seriously, that really sucked. I felt horribly ripped off. It was definitely not worth it. Some seafood places don't charge you over a hundred bucks for a full meal, and those crab legs are bursting with flavor. We also got the bourbon creamed corn and the garlic mashed potatoes. The bourbon neutralizes and cancels out the sweetness of the corn. I wasn't a fan. The garlic mashed potatoes were a very large helping, but I didn't think we needed it because the plates already came with small amounts of it. It was our friend's birthday and they did bring us a small dessert which was free but the bill still over $360, with tip making it around 420. Overall this place is still an experience. Maybe one day it will be like it use to be and perhaps will be worth it. But if you do come in, expecting what this place use to be like, you will not find what you are looking and you should be a slightly prepared to be upset.
5-star dinner, 10-star service
Decided on the Atlantis steakhouse for dinner, i didn't have reservations so I sat at the bar. Was immediately greeted by Ingrid who said that Karla would be my server for the evening. Karla was fantastic, i was on the fence on some choices and she guided me to what turned out to be a far better dinner than expected. Karla had drink suggestions as well, but I was stuck to my favorites. Ingrid made sure i was set for whatever I needed minus the drinks, and Karla was friendly and professional and made my first experience here, fantastic. I will be coming back and it's because of Karla and Ingrid that made the evening memorable. Thank you, Atlantis, and the whole Steakhouse staff.
Katelin S. is the best!
I'm super happy to have access to a5 and tsar nicolai here in Reno! Decent wine selection, too! It's neat that everyone gets to see something get lit on fire when any table orders it 🔥 I actually had a poor (service) experience here in January 2020, but I've been back a few times since then and it seems like the service has improved a lot. Very friendly staff! Katelin S. is my girl! She remembered me dining there after like a year lol!
Food preparations were exquisite.
Oysters were incredible, by the way. Server staff (Jackie and Haley) were professional, engaging, and attentive while not hovering. The little touches throughout the dining experience were unexpected but really fun. A good call for our anniversary dinner. We are on a search for Reno's best steakhouse, and the Atlantis is right up there if not already the winner. We will certainly be back!
First of all, it was my 50th birthday, and our waiter was
First of all, it was my 50th birthday, and our waiter was overbearing, pushy, over the top, our service was always late, when we arrived, there was nobody there at 5:15pm, just a few table tables... we did get our bacon wrapped scallops, which were horrifically fishy, tough, and smelly! I took one bite and instantly spit it out! AND we waited forever for our appetizers and salads to come together, I had to ask for our soup and our salads to come together because they weren't bringing them, and then I had told the waiter that I didn't need my own plate that I was going to eat with my husband from his plate (FROM HIS PLATE) well he took his sweet time while other tables started coming and getting food made for them at the table that they were eating at while we waited for ours to come that never showed up I had to ask and ask where our food was while others were eating who came way after us, and when we finally did get our food, they had cut our tiniest smallest lobster in half no shell no seasoning and cut my husband's beautiful expensive meat in half (which made both of it very, very dry) we did not ask for that! We wanted the experience of the beautiful big lobster in its tail, then our waiter brought me my brussels sprouts that were so black so burnt so uneditable I had to send it back, and simply say no thank you I don't want them at all! Then I had to go up to the front desk and let them know what had happened. They just took off our lobster tail.... After speaking with the front, which I'm assuming the floor manager, our waiter became even more pushy and even more annoying because I'm sure he got wind of us not being happy and I told him I did not ask you to specifically cut in half and bring two plates! Totally ruined our experience ruined my birthday dinner, it was such a letdown and a disappointment while I saw others getting five star treatment, we got Taco Bell treatment! It was so disappointing so heartbreaking because we had to look forward to coming there as the highlight of my 50th birthday dinner! My husband even got me a limousine to take me to this restaurant
Group Dinner at the Atlantis Steakhouse
The dinner at Atlantis was incredible. They set up a beautiful private area for about 40 of us. I worked with Ali to coordinate the dinner and all the details, and he was attentive and very helpful throughout. The entire staff was so kind, professional, and ensured everything ran smoothly. We enjoyed a custom menu, and every dish was delicious. This steakhouse is truly a gem in Reno. Thank you to the Atlantis team for making our evening special. I would definitely come back.
Atlantis Steakhouse sucks
I order the chef special for dinner a basket of bread and a Bloody Mary. The soup was at best mediocre. The filet was cold and tougher than the cheapest steak I have ever ordered before. The prawn was overcooked. The fish was properly cooked but was incredibly bland. The crust of the bread actually chipped my tooth it was that hard. The Bloody Mary mix was okay but had a very strange aftertaste. The best part of the whole experience was the bartenders and the asparagus. All that came to $127.25 totally not worth it but I did leave a $22.75 tip because the staff was great.

Very great and exceptional service! I should have dressed more formal for this experience! I had no clue how nice the atmosphere is!
great steaks
we had a fanstict time with all of my family in this great steak ahuse in nevada. The steaks were absoluitely gergous and drinks also
I visited the steakhouse and was impressed by the fantastic
I visited the steakhouse and was impressed by the fantastic service and atmosphere. However, the main entree was the most disappointing part of the evening. The side salad and sides were delicious, well-seasoned, and savory. I ordered the Dry Aged New York strip but it seemed it was undercooked (more on the rare side), dry, and a bit tough. I had much higher expectations for the steak but it tasted like a choice grade steak. To end the evening, we had complimentary chocolates and cookie to take out - the service was absolutely amazing.
Amazing Experience!
This last Saturday April 6th, a few brothers of mine and I had dinner here at the Atlantis Steakhouse for the first time. We have been doing this trip 3X a year for the last 8 years. We have tried a few steakhouses and we are platinum card holders at the PEPPERMILL. Here’s what I can tell you… Bimini at the PEPPERMILL isn’t even at the same level as the Atlantis Steakhouse. I won’t even compare Ruby River down the street. First of all the service was amazing. Alex our server also Army Veteran ( Hooah!) gave us an amazing service along with Alex our other server made sure we were always topped off. Steaks were cooked to perfection, I recommend the table side Caesar salad.. we couldn’t even fit the dessert down our pipes. However Alex took care of us and sent us back to the PEPPERMILL with some delicious sweets. I say when you come to a place like this, it’s more of the experience than it is the food. We were very lucky to have found this on yelp and rolled the dice ( no puns intended lol) and it was a win. Brothers are already planning our boys trip to add this place permanently as one of the dining spots when we come. Thank you to both Alex for taking care of us. We will be back! Sorry we are loyal to the Peppermill but on steaks we are not! lol 😂
This is a once in a year experience.
Please go into this restaurant with this in mind: Expect to spend at least $200 per person, maybe closer to $300. Expect at least a three course meal. You will be served a hot towel between every course to wash your hands. The servers are very attentive and yet melt into the background, but are there as soon as you need anything. The layout is what one would expect about a casino with a fish theme (Atlantis). They have a large aquarium as the separator between the bar and the dining room. We had table side service for our spinach salad. Other diners had table side for their desserts. The dining is exquisite. This is not a $7.00 burger, fries and drink place. Take your time and enjoy a two hour meal. Absolutely nothing is bad on their menu. I had the chef's special: a 6 oz filet and two large bacon wrapped prawns served on a bed of mashed potatoes with asparagus and a beef demeglos. My aunt and I shared a bottle of white wine (I didn't have to touch the bottle. Our waiter made sure our glasses were always full.) And for dessert, I imbibed in a very nice cognac. No tie is required. If you are a local, once a year. If you are a tourist, this is a must stop on your rounds of Reno. All of us deserve a five star dinner at least once a year. I recommend reservations. Oh, pictures? Are you kidding me? Go there. Trust me. You won't want to take pictures either!
Easter Sunday
We had a wonderful evening here at the steakhouse. Service was absolute perfection. Alex E. Introduced us to the cocktail and wine menu with a brief overview of the entire menu; highlighting the areas and different offerings the restaurant had available. The food was devine. My husband and I shared an entree and a dessert since we had a late brunch before. The cocktails were spot on! I didn’t even have to explain in detail how I preferred my martini. It apparent our server knew exactly what I wanted. I had trouble remembering the spirit and he immediately knew what I meant by just actually listening to what I was saying. Very impressed! Just about any where we have traveled the level of hospitality and care, personalized service that goes into the professional nature that drives this establishment, sets them apart from everyone else! Eating out at a Steakhouse in Reno…means The Atlantis! We were aware of the Forbes 4 star award they achieved from a segment we saw in the news and they definitely held up to our expectations! Bravo👏
We went to this steakhouse for a set prix fix Easter dinner.
Usually we try to avoid major holidays because of spotty service but our server, Kaitlyn and her assistant, Harsh gave us some of the most attentive service we've had in years. The Easter menu (four courses) was reasonably priced compared to their regular menu. Food was excellent, prepared per our request and served hot. Many selections from the regular menu are prepared table-side which is always a nice touch for a special occasion. We brought a nice Zinfandel from home and paid the $35 corkage which seemed high but okay considering most of their wines were $20+ per glass. The wine list looked very good but I would consider it over-priced. Considering the fine atmosphere, excellent food and outstanding service from Kaitlyn, we'll be returning for our next special celebration.
Amazing dinner with wonderful service!
Thank you Jacky and Khang for an absolutely wonderful dining experience! My husband and I ate at the bar this past weekend. Our food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and you both made our first night in Reno at Atlantis the best! We ordered an assortment of appetizers and drinks that did not disappoint. Delicious dirty martinis (with blue cheese olives if that's your thing cuz it's definitely ours!). Juicy warm oysters Rockefeller with a really generous amount of cheese, pork belly lollipops with a sweet and sticky maple glaze, fresh ahi tuna with a creamy wasabi, and really savory escargot. Amazing foie gras on some kind of culinary wizardry of a funnel cake meets French toast fried bread and reduced cherries ... literally one of the tastiest bites I've ever had and it paired so well with the delicious bottle of Duckhorn Pinot. Thank you so so much Khang and Jacky, you were so great and truly made our night a wonderful one!
A disaster start, but a memorable finish
We dined at the steakhouse last night for my birthday. After 20 minutes, we were ready to cancel our order and leave because our server was so inept. After I spoke with the assistant manager Curtis. He took over our table and made what could have been a disaster, a memorable evening, not sure if I would return as I’m afraid of the horrible service I might receive if Curtis wasn’t available to help
Outstanding. 5/5.
Truly a benchmark meal, and an absolutely delightful evening (took my wife out for her birthday). Joe took outstanding care of us, and we'll see if we can request him next time.

The Atlantis Steakhouse is a really upscale restaurant; the decor and attention to details (fresh flowers, rose petals on the table) were so lovely. The food was a different story. It was an our first time there, so we wanted to try several items. We had the escargot, which wasn't whole snails, more like bits and pieces. But it's smothered in butter, so it wasn't too bad. The abalone was very good, but again, battered and smothered in butter, what's not to like? One of us ordered the steak Diane, which was a great presentation, but the meat became overcooked. Another of us ordered the filet and lobster tail, which seemed to be the best meal of the night. The lobster was cooked well, the filet a nice medium rare. We also had the half rack of lamb which was raw, had to send it back unfortunately, and then it was just ok. It was missing most of the sides that came with the original dish, the carrot puree, the micro greens. It wasn't a good order, was fatty and really small pieces. The creamed spinach was good, but again, butter and cream? How can you go wrong? We think the best part was the salad, the blue cheese dressing was amazing. We'd probably try again for a special occasion, since it was a $400 bill without any booze. Yikes!

From the chocolate martini at the start to finishing with a decadent dessert, the Atlantis Steakhouse is just a beautiful experience. It's at the top of our list, and we have always found every single aspect of our dining experience there to be without parallel. Ah, such a wonderful dining experience!
Excellent Food and Ambiance at Reno's Atlantis Steakhouse
The Atlantis Steakhouse provided an outstanding dining experience from beginning to end. I had the shrimp scampi and it was excellent! Our server and her assistant were extremely attentive to our needs while not being smothering at all. The ambiance was relaxing and our family had a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this steakhouse!

We went to this steakhouse for a company party, and the service was exquisite! This was my first time here, and in addition, it was probably one of the best steakhouses I've been to locally at this tier. I personally got the 8 oz wagyu filet mignon and the meat was so tender and juicy, and the bone marrow complimented it perfectly. I had their old fashioned, and it was also delicious. The seafood tower was also very fresh and wonderful to enjoy. Overall, the ambiance was also very inviting and cozy. We can't wait to try it again!
The service was barnone, and the food was excellent.
Highly recommend if you are willing to spend a bit, as it is pricey. I'm giving it a 4-star review because my husband's t-bone was not easy to chew. It had a good flavor but was not as tender as he wanted.
Not overwhelmed!
A four star rated venue, but alas, not all was as advertised. While the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff superb, we were surprised to be disappointed. The meals were presented well, but there wasn't that outstanding flavor one might expect. I in particular ordered the T-bone, finding it a little flavorless and no better than that of a chain steakhouse. The lamb was, again, pretty, but average. The lobster mac and cheese promised so much in name, but didnt deliver either. Certainly the meals do not warrant the prices charged, atleast in our experience as regular partakers of fine dining.
Superb Dinner Experience at the Atlantis Steakhouse!
The service was EXCELLENT, and was done by a team of servers. The food was SUPERB, with excellent portions and cooked to perfection, as requested. The price range was perhaps a bit high, but the food and the service more than justified the price. Lauren was our primary server and she did a most outstanding job! Kudos to her!
Excellent Steakhouse
This place is great for dinner for two or couples night out. Ambiance is very nice. The staff observed when we were finished with our meal. We know that their aim is to please the customers. All the staff are polite.

I wrote a negative review last year after an unpleasant experience. My husband and I decided to try the Atlantis steakhouse again last night for our anniversary. It was wonderful! Our server, Curtis, was excellent and we enjoyed conversing with him. He was very attentive to our needs. The food was prepared perfectly and the atmosphere, as always, delightful. It truly is one of the best restaurants in Reno!
Memorable Meal from start to finish 👏
One of the most memorable dinners of my life. Logan provided outstanding service from start to finish. Even overhearing how much I wanted baked Alaska for my birthday but didn’t see it on the menu and surprise Logan brought it out. You get dinner and a show if you go for the table side prepared shrimp scampi (they also do Steak Diane). The smoked Manhattan is my favorite drink and the vibe is sophisticated yet chill. You will never be disappointed with a meal here.
This was one of the most memorable dinners I've ever had.
My mom flew in to surprise me for my birthday and from start to finish Logan and the team provided the most exemplary level of service. The table side prepared shrimp scampi, smoked Manhattan, prime rib and sea bass all were delectable. The ambiance is sophisticated with a chill vibe. Logan truly went above and beyond by overhearing how much I wanted baked Alaska for my birthday dessert but didn't see it on the menu and surprise brought it out to me Dhane was a delight as well providing laughs. I am so grateful and cannot wait to come back!
We have been several times and the food is always amazing.
What gives them 5 stars is the top notch service and the attention to the small details. The chef always sends a tiny pre-dinner treat to the table that is delicious. The warm damp towel to clean your hands is great. The decor of the restaurant inside makes you forget you are in a casino. These employees are the most professional the Atlantis has to offer. They are always exceptional. The chefs never disappoint. They never rush your experience. The coffee cake at the end is a nice breakfast treat to remind you of the wonderful evening.
Amazing food and even better service traditional steakhouse
Amazing food and even better service traditional steakhouse and a wonderful place to celebrate special holidays and moments in your life!
An Epicurean Adventure
This is a dining experience that goes beyond the great food and staff. My friend and I arrived without a reservation. We were seated. Lauren arrived to explain the menu and take our drink order. She went beyond being a server. Rather, she was a guide through our epicurean adventure. I ordered the Smoked Manhattan, and they ordered the Campfire Song. Both were as deep in flavor as visually appealing. We started off with the Filet Mignon Skewers. For dinner had the Pepper Crusted Bison Tenderloin and Divers Scallops. The Bison was so tender as to not need a knife to cut. I went for the Ice Cream. Which is made at the table by hand with cream, chocolate shavings, and liquid Nitrogen. As I said, a dining experience. This is my go-to place on every trip to Reno. Might even have to develop more business as an excuse.
Our favorite steakhouse in Reno.
Excellent food. Wonderful service and a fun, exciting atmosphere. If you are in the mood for a steakhouse meal, this is definitely worth trying.
Anniversary dinner with my wife, we chose the steakhouse.
Curtis was our server, excellent job by him! I love the booths, best steakhouse booths and ambiance overall was pretty good. Started with oysters rockefeller, they were really good! Then we had French onion soup and a the salad with the guava vinaigrette, both of those were outstanding!!! For our main courses we had the sea bass and prime rib. Sea bass was so good, flavors amazing!! The Prime Rib.... Was ok, this stopped this from being a five star review. I never been a fan when they dip your steak in the au jus before plating, makes it look boiled. Flavor was pretty good, just not memorable. We also got the bacon bourbon cream corn and that was crazy flavor and really good! We'll be back and I'd like to try a different steak on the menu.
Top tier
It was fire. We sat at the bar with Katelin And Jacky and had an amazing experience. Seabass was fire and steak was also fire 🔥. Would recommend
The Steakhouse Bar!!
We sat at the bar with Katelin and Jacky this evening. Great times, great drinks, and great fishtank! I ordered the sea bass and it was cooked perfectly! Oh, the carpaccio is also delicious. We will certainly be back :)
Came here yesterday.
First time after Covid 19. The restaurant has a bit of update and looks great. Food is again and always excellent. I don't think there's a better restaurant in any other casinos since I have tried them all. Atlantis is a very well run casino/hotel and has the best restaurants anywhere in Reno. The steakhouse, Bistro Napa and the sushi bar are always excellent. Staff is well trained and managers and staff always remember me even after my last visit pre covid. We had 5pm reservation and by 6pm the restaurant is full. It really shows customers have excellent taste and know where to dine the best.
A beautiful Birthday dinner!
A shout out for the most elegant and delicious meal in RENO! We went to dinner for my Birthday and knew it would be expensive but now we know it was worth it for the quality, service and atmosphere! I won't tell you all the little things they do at Atlantis Steakhouse.... so you will be delighted when you go to discover yourself. Jessica, our waitress, made us feel comfortable and we enjoyed a terrific relaxing dinner with a flaming dessert! Thank you, Jessica, for a beautiful birthday memory.
