Beautiful, cozy place.
Tasty chicken and dumplings. Good desserts. Price points are high for the experience you receive.

Such a cool restaurant, never been to a place that had food this unique! It will be a special experience you won't get anywhere else
Be the first to ReplyHigh end gourmet based on country cuisine.
They go to great lengths. Some items are hit or miss.

Everything so thought out and delicious! We went for brunch and I can't wait to go to the June part of the restaurant if we ever come back to Nashville. Service was great as well!
Be the first to ReplyIf you're looking for a place to impress with ambiance,
If you're looking for a place to impress with ambiance, hipster art, and incredible attention to detail - this is your spot. However the menu is a different story. The menu at Audrey seems like it is the brainchild of a bunch of stoned chefs in a basement, each trying to one up the other with creative takes on every day classics. The result, albeit impressive, are mixed. For example, the pork and cabbage skewers were excellent while the lion's mane mushroom was overly salted. The biggest disappointment for me was the bastardizing of a classic chicken n' dumplins with black truffle. While I definitely think this place is a creative aesthetic masterpiece with some interesting takes, it ultimately falls flat for me and thus gets the 3 stars.
Be the first to ReplyCame very early on a Tuesday and this was the place to be.
The decor and layout is absolutely stunning. The open kitchen with the restaurant tables surrounding, make for a beautiful setting. Our server was kind and attentive, with plenty of suggestions. The mixology is quite intriguing. I had the Fig & Sage and was pleasantly surprised by how well the flavors combined. You can choose the "feast" and have most of the menu served family style or order individually. The feast felt like a lot for our small group so we chose individual orders. Starters: we had the cornbread (good but not great, very cakey) and the ham, which sounded okay but was a server suggestion and was truly amazing. Entrees: the steak was delicious and perfectly cooked, the chicken and dumplings were also very good and are uniquely served - perfect for sharing, the potatoes were a nice side to tie it all together (& had a delicious sauce) and do not count out the carrots! The carrots were surprisingly delicious with a great foamy sauce layer. Our server was great but I worry they may have been a bit understaffed. Not sure if it's a logistics issue or if there weren't runners but we waited quite a long time for individual drink orders (20 min for 1 and 15 min for another). Also I must say I understand there is an entire side of Yelp focused on bathrooms and the bathroom in this restaurant was the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen. I want whoever designed that to design my bedroom. Truly impeccable. Would come back specifically for the bathroom asap. Overall the food was pretty good, ambiance is amazing, prices comparatively are a bit high.

Had a reservation for brunch, and this experience did not disappoint! Traveled from out of town, and so really looking forward to experiencing one of Sean Brock's restaurants. The overall ambience of Audrey is so unique and beautiful that when you first arrive you just take in all of the beautiful artwork and the overall vibe and interior is welcoming unique and comfortable. At first we had a table that was not close to the kitchen view so we asked to move and the wait staff was very accommodating to that. Getting to have a view of the chefs in the kitchen was so much fun, and really amazing to watch them at their craft! We had a variety of dishes that were all fantastic! My favorite would probably have to be the cornbread just due to its overall texture consistency, and taste was delicious, I would definitely love to come back for dinner and experience their steak. We did have that as one of the breakfast courses and I thought that it was delicious. The service was wonderful even at times it was a little slow just in the sense of responsiveness to our needs, but everyone was so wonderful and professional. I would definitely come back when I visit Nashville again!

This was one of the first resos I made upon learning that I will be on a work trip to Nashville. I'm a big fan of Chef Brock so I had to come to Audrey to try it out. The space is beautiful, spacious but cozy. Everything on the menu looked delicious and we had a hard time make up our minds so we ended up doing the Feast. If I had to come up with a standout dish, it would be very hard since each one had something unique to make it tasty. The cornbread, the chicken and dumplings, the carrots, honestly everything that I had for dinner was fantastic. Definitely recommend trying this spot out if you're in Nashville and want to get away from the downtown crowd.
Be the first to ReplyWhile the atmosphere and wait staff are wonderful, the food
While the atmosphere and wait staff are wonderful, the food here continues to be underwhelming. This is my second time here, and each time the food is not satisfactory. I don't believe this would still be open if it didn't have Sean Brock's name on it. So many other good restaurants in Nashville to spend your $300 on a nice dinner.

Were very excited to eat at Audrey and it completely exceeded our expectation! The restaurant has a wonderful decor, and beautiful layout. Iur table was focused toward the open kitchen, which was very fun. Our waiter, Alex, was outstanding, and took excellent care of us. The cocktails were delicious. We ordered The Feast, and had a continuous stream of absolutely flavorful dishes. We were able to take our time on each course, and were never rushed to finish anything. The wine pairing was perfect with each course, as well. We loved our entire meal, and will definitely return next time we are in Nashville!

Sean Brock and his team have created an interesting dining experience. The staff was impeccable- knowledgeable, relaxed and attentive. We were not super hungry, having brunched that day, and our server was helpful picking menu items to share. I would love to go back with 4 people to order more! The room is spacious and thoughtfully designed. The art is stunning throughout. You see the kitchen and it was pretty calm back there! I almost didn't check it out because my Airbnb host said it was hard to get a table. We went at 5 PM on Sunday and it was just fine. I would also love to try the tasting room upstairs- June.
Be the first to ReplyWow. What a great dining experience. Our table of four
Wow. What a great dining experience. Our table of four opted for "the feast" which was a Prix Fixe option including many of the menu highlights. The killed lettuce, grits, and especially the chicken and dumplings were fantastic. Fantastic friendly service. A real winner.

Audrey was incredible! Every aspect of this restaurant is well thought out and special. First stop of the night was to view the lab where they experiment and ferment their foods and drinks. This was absolutely spectacular to see! Next stop was the bathroom upstairs. I should have had my phone as it was an experience in itself! After being seated (make a reservation well in advance because it is extremely difficult to walk in on the weekend) we had a zero proof wine made by Sean Brock. This was infused with Elderberry and was delicious! We got the appetizers, fried apples and cornbread. The apples were savory and are a must get. The cornbread was great and I would have eaten the entire skillet if I could have! The main dishes that we got were the catfish and the chicken n dumplings. The catfish was breaded with a crunchy outside on top of turnip greens and a peanut sauce. This was so tasty! The chicken n dumplings had a buttermilk dumpling and was some of the best dumpling I've ever had. Taylor was our server and Sarah took us on the tour of the facility where we saw the lab. They were both incredible and made the entire experience memorable. We will be coming back here!
Be the first to ReplyDinner was a complete disappointment.
We dined here back in June and had a lovely experience, last night left me very dissatisfied. Overall, the food was over salted. I have a heavy seasoning hand, so I don't mind salty, multiple dishes were inedible. Cornbread with lardo was seasoned so heavily, it tasted of a mouthful of ocean water. We ordered the chicken and dumplings, it was again so salty that we sent it back to the kitchen. Kitchen tasted it and agreed that it was over salted. We also ordered 2 ribeyes for the table, cooked medium. They were both cooked very rare. We sent 1 back to be recooked. 2nd steak was a little more cooked, but upon pushing the steak around plate, you could see certain pieces were sliced and cooked on the underside, but rare in the top. The inconsistency of 1 whole steak sliced into pieces was really strange. When the other steak was refired and came back to the table, it was still a medium rare when we ordered medium. The server basically delivered the steak and steered clear of the table, not checking if it was cooked to our liking. The part that probably was the biggest miss of the night is that Chef Brock was in the kitchen and sitting 2 tables down from us with friends and never stopped by to check on us or acknowledge that there were some misses throughout the evening.
Be the first to ReplyThis was one of the highlights of our Nashville Trip.
The open kitchen is a beautiful thing to watch. When you see the restaurant encircles the kitchen, you know it's gonna be a culinary driven experience. Ashton is a phenomenal conductor of the evening. He expertly led us through the evening answering questions about food, drinks, plates, utensils, Sean, the Company, ( you get the idea... ). The Mushroom Bisque is Rich. The Venison Tender. The Corn Bread was Very Disappointing. He said they were having some supply issues... The Steak was great, the Catfish was awesome, and my friend said the Lion's Mane Mushroom entree was the highlight of the trip. We regret not getting the Feast, but we accidentally had a late lunch. The beverage program is top notch, plenty of NA cocktail options. Paw Paw Pie was one of my favorites, it's delicious! We'll be back to try June next year.

Spontaneously came here with a group of friends after having dinner at Folk. Could be curious about eating the food at Audrey, but photos look okay, and the one drink I had wasn't very impressive. We sat at the empty bar upstairs, which was as swanky as the downstairs section of the restaurant, with multiple seating options. I had whiskey cocktail with malt, port, fig, and ancho reyes. Not my favorite combination of ingredients. Service was decent. Overall I'd be open to giving Audrey a second try!

Be the first to ReplyI enjoyed our dinner at Audrey.
I thought overall the food was good (best thing was the trout and chicken and dumplings), but I do think it's a bit pricey for what you get. From all the hype I was expecting to love every dish but some were just okay. I do love the service there and the cocktails are always unique and on-point with their flavor profiles. I highly recommend coming here with a group and approaching the menu as sharables so you can try more dishes.

Beautiful, superb food, imaginative menu, gracious owner and skilled help.........one feels transported entering..::
Be the first to ReplyThe food and decor are great.
Our server Jade was lovely. We had a terrible experience with their Sommelier Adam. Not only was he condescending and rude he blatantly lied about their "elevated" pairing and gave us a wine that is a 40 dollar bottle. Moreover he made us feel inferior when we asked questions. We went in looking to spend money on wine pairings but we ended up not. Sad to get this kinda service in an otherwise warm environment.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is AWESOME.
If you are just going out to eat then this isn't the place. This place is a dining experience from word one. The atmosphere is outstanding and the food is amazing. You won't find a plain hamburger, but you will find creations made by an amazing chef. If you are in Nashville DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP.
Be the first to ReplyAmbience 5/5: brutalistic unfinished concrete softened by
Ambience 5/5: brutalistic unfinished concrete softened by dried flowers, in an open space and open kitchen in the center. Service 2/5: we arrived 15 min early for our 9:15p reservation and we're not seated until nearly 10p. Not only that but the hostess did not offer us to sit at the bar until after a half hour of waiting, and we had just sat down, ordered our drinks at the bar, when we were interrupted and told our table was ready. So we did not even start ordering until 10p. The restaurant closed at 11:30p and thus we felt already rushed even though we arrived on time. What's the point of a reservation if you're going to have to wait nearly an hour to be seated??Food 4/5: I got the nonalcoholic mushroom drink which no one should ever get. I was told it tastes like an earthy green tea but it tastes like the leftover water you get from washing mushrooms heated to lukewarm temperature. I love earthy flavors but this was not edible. The oysters were delicious, the grits were very creamy and I could have done without the yolk center. The lion's mane mushroom was really good, I can't believe the texture came from mushroom and not chicken. The beets were delicious as well and so were the potatoes. My partner got the chicken and dumplings which I'm glad I didn't order bc it was just a bowl of huge balls of flour with scant strips of chicken stuck to the sides. The trout was pretty good but nothing special. The desserts looked amazing but unfortunately we were seated so late that they had run out by the time we were ready to order. They served us little balls of pecan ice cream though which I asked for and they were very good. All in all, a medium experience for ~$300.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible food, incredible service.
It is so cozy feeling and not at all pretentious. I would dine here every night if I could.
Be the first to ReplyGave me and my husband diarrhea.
.. golden potatoes were not good at all, and underdone. When we mentioned this to the server, she said they cooked their potatoes "al Dente", which if that's true should be mentioned in the paragraph description. The best thing we had all night were the rolls. The skewer was a SINGLE skewer for $20, so 3 bites for 2 people... not worth the price. The Lions Mane mushroom was okay, but for the entree price, it should have some with something else besides mushroom and a sauce. The chicken and dumplings flavor was good, but by the time it came out- we were starving and ate it all. I think this dish is what upset our stomachs. Overall, server was friendly, but the food was over priced, underwhelming, and took WAY TOO LONG. We had a reservation at 6:15, arrived at 6, and didn't leave until 9 PM. Also, they asked me 4 times if we were celebrating- I said we were celebrating my birthday and they put us at the smallest table, wedged between other people, so it didn't feel special at all. Brought us a bday dessert, which was fine, but server said it was for our long wait- not my bday so why did they ask so many times if we were celebrating. I saw another table with a candle/cake but it's no big deal. I wouldn't have cared if the food was outstanding. There was an AC vent blowing right at our table so any food that did come out, was immediately cold. We will not be back.
Be the first to ReplyOur experience was perfect.
The server was attentive and gave great suggestions. She coursed out our plates perfectly. The timing of the courses was just right. We had staff constantly refilling our water glasses. We added the elevated wine pairing. The somm paired every course perfectly and even gave my boyfriend and I different wines for 2 courses to have variety. The atmosphere was great. We would definitely go back and will seek out other Sean Brock restaurants in the future.
