Don't waste your money.
Just ordered their Pickle fries online and got home only to get that they are BURNT! Literally burnt, charred, looks dark brown,had black particles in the breadcrumbs as in the picture and smelled like a smoking house! Also got their Craft burger and the breaded chicken was ALSO BURNT! Tasted exactly like the Pickle fries. What kind of restaurant finds it okay to serve this kind of food? It's damn near food poisoning. Really disappointed as it was one of my favorite places to patronize.

I haven't been to Bar Louie in years, but I decided to give it a try after a day of shopping. The restaurant is located on the second floor of The shops at park lane shopping center. There is an ample amount of parking so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. Once we entered the the restaurant it was open seating, so we chose a high top next to the bar. Within minutes our server came over. She was courteous and knowledgeable. She gave us recommendations on the best drinks and food, she also told us about the the weekday happy hour. The food was good!! The service superior !! I will definitely be back.

The chicken wings were dry and inedible. The calamari was like eating a rubber band and greasy. I should have sent the food back but couldn't find someone to return it to. I don't plan on returning and wasting my money and calories. For happy hour it was expensive.

Avoid this bar I friend convinced me to try again since las week was my las chance to this bar It was a mistake we call co make sure the draft beer machine was working and they said it was working so we decided to try again but once we star order they told draft beer wasn't working so they lie to us very disappointed avoid avoid so sad used to nice bar not any more

Came in on a late Sunday evening after shopping and immediately found seating. Our waitress was very attentive and had some great recommendations on the new drinks. For those who love something sweet I would suggest the DIVA. I'll defer be returning to have another drink. We tried the shrimp tacos and the salmon sliders. The fish was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was very laid back and the music was as the perfect level for setting the mood and great conversation. We also had the broccoli and Mac and cheese and I highly recommended those options. The menu had a lot of fun options and was at an excellent price point.

Sat on the patio even though the outdoor bar was closed. Tables and chairs were dusty/dirty. Service was borderline awful. Server could not have cared less. Slow to take drink and food order. Flatbread pizza came out cold. Drinks took forever. The dirty martini had so much olive brine in it that we sent it back (and waited 15 minutes for a replacement.) We asked a different server to take back the flat bread pizza and warm it up. She brought out a fresh one that was better. Drinks came out poorly prepared (not chilled martini glasses, a SINGLE small olive, old fashioned without a cherry, etc.) Poor execution all the way around. Apologized to my friends for taking them there. Fortunately witty the HH pricing, 8 drinks and a flatbread were under $100 or it would have added insult to injury. This place was much better before COVID. Doubt I will return.

Met a friend here for lunch on Friday before doing some shopping. She had recommended the place and I hadn't been before. So, being a faithful Yelper, I read the reviews and honestly felt hesitant about trying it out as most reviews complained about both the food and service. But, since my friend had suggested it, I went along rather than change plans. I'm so glad I did! We had a great lunch! I ordered the grilled cheese which came with fries and also ordered a side of tomato soup. All was hot and delicious! My friend had the shrimp tacos and she said they were tasty! Our server Xavion was friendly and attentive. It wasn't packed for lunch, but busy with several other tables and a number of people at the bar. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews of this place!? I definitely will be back for lunch or drinks! My friend and I even discussed meeting there again when the weather warms up and dining on their great patio.

I'm still dealing with the issue that occurred back in July of last year. I responded to the message from the manager and he never responded to my email. I am still not ok with the incident that happened at this location.

The flatbread four cheese o pizza was so good and the fried pickles. I had a Long Island iced tea to drink and it was also really good!If you want good service you better just sit at the bar! We waited at a table for a few minutes with no service and decided to move to the bar and the service was better but it took a minute!Overall, it was very good food and drinks and the atmosphere was nice!Great shops to walk around and a little dog park10/10 recommend and I will go back

The food ok. The service was awful. After I paid my check I said the total out loud and my daughter said wait. What did you pay for. I said the food. She said let me see your itemized copy. I said I don't have it. So she asked the server to bring us the copy. Once she received the copy she started looking over it. She asked the server to explain the charges to her. The server got irate with her and started yelling. I sat there in total disbelief along with the other person in our part. He was yelling do you want your two dollars back. My daughter remained calm while asking questions. He shouted do you want to speak with someone in management, she said yes. He stormed off and kicked the door. We could hear things falling. The manager came out and my daughter explained to her what had just happen. At this time I am in total shock. After speaking with the on-duty manager and resolving things. I gave a tip to the server that brought our food out and continued to check on us. While we were seated at the bar, the server that had originally waited on us came storming towards us breathing hard and stomping with his hands in his pocket. He went past us and our the door. My heart dropped instantly. My nerves shot straight up. I thought he would be outside waiting for us to come out. The manager walked from behind the bar and stood in front of us for a few minutes. She could see that I was very upset and nervous. I asked her was he special. She said no. By then my nerves were so bad I started shaking. As we walked towards the door my heart was beating so fast. I thought he would be outside waiting for us. On the drive home I keep watching in my rearview mirror making sure he wasn't following us. I had one of the worst nights of my life after that experience. I am still nervous from due what we experience. What everything going on in the world today and to experience something like this. No I am not OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drove about 30 to 40 minutes out of my way just to go here because I enjoy the food and atmosphere. I sit down at the bar and waited about 10 minutes and no one came up to me to greet me or take my order. So I left. I walked outside and called the manager and told her what happened and she didn't seem to care. So I won't be back

Sat at the bar. Wow. Talk about dirty. The entire bar was filthy but the filth didn't stop there. The entire restaurant was was extremely dirty. No systems no cleaning and extremely subpar. I could not believe the manager allowed the bar area to look and operate like that. I won't be back. Saw several people sending food and drinks back. I would steer clear of this spot or brink lots of cleaning supplies.

As a former server I like to give fellow servers grace but the customer service I experienced today was AWFUL. I would like to assume my server, Zach was new but that's just giving the benefit of the doubt. Upon walking in, their system was down so staff literally could do nothing, which is fine! More the reason why I am so flabbergasted that I was never even acknowledged and had to request water several times. The only time I was approached by my server was upon sitting down. Other than that, I flagged my server down for every cocktail and water refill, and even watched my food sit on the ticket line for 10-15 minutes until I prompted the server to see if it was mine. As a result, my food was cold by the time I got it. Even though service was piss poor, I imagine my server may have been overwhelmed with the system being down and still wanted to take care of him tip wise until I overheard him completing his checkout and transferring me to a new server who also never checked on me without letting me know. I gently told the manager about my experience and all she had to say was sorry. I'm never expecting handouts but it's a leaders job to make things right esp in this industry. What was supposed to be a quick happy hour drink and snack turned into a WASTE of 2 hrs of my time. This location is a joke and would probably run better as a self serve restaurant.

Who ever that guy, Robert, with glasses is at the bar, I don't know who shove something up in where the sun don't shine, but my friend and I came in to ask if there's a possibility we can get our order any time from now, instead of the time grub hub scheduled it, that's all we asked, he could of simply said " unfortunately, we only have one cook at the moment, so we can't push your order", and I would of been fine with that, I could of come in later, we didn't give him attitude or anything, we just asked a question. He literally just stormed of to the cook in the back ,started yelling and waving his hands. He then came back, and I'm not joking, threw his glasses on the counter at us, and said "now we have to shove your order in front", that trigger my fight or flight signal, and I promise, we weren't going to flight, he was literally raising his voice at us and my friend and I were shocked, so we just said thank you, and waited patiently and quiet, he then proceeded to talk to us and guilt trip us saying, " we only have one cook and he's working hard." He could of just simply told us from the beginning! We weren't even complaining or saying anything! We weren't in a rush! If we were asking him how long it's going to take or can they hurry up, then I would understand the attitude.We ask to speak to the manager on duty, Jocelyn, and she was soo nice, I appreciate her for attempting to make our experience better, not only that, but to come out to find he was lying about the number of cooks on duty. Everyone was nice, even the cooks! Except for Robert! All it takes is one negative person to bring down a business and a team, and those are the people that are not worth keeping, he needs to get fired, it's better to loose one bad person, than a bunch of good employees over time, getting fed up with his tantrums. We saw someone come in, asking if y'all were hiring, I would say hire that person and get rid of Robert.

Our server Camie informed us that she had just gotten there 40mins ago and that earlier in the day things had not been good at the restaurant. (Why are you telling us this?) Whatever that means. Lots of tables were dirty with plates and food and glasses and dirty napkins. No one seemed to care about anything. There were 4 people in our party and 2 of us order very basic cocktails which were made and then sat on the bar awhile until the server finally brought them over with the ice half melted. Someone else brought out waters which were sweating all over the table. We asked for napkins twice but never got them until my husband physically got up and got them. Someone else brought out the appetizer and the food. Not once did she come by and make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything else. We were literally done eating by the time she came back by and asked if we wanted another round of drinks or dessert. No way. We did observe her hitting her vape while putting in an order at the computer and that's about when she disappeared for about 20-30mins. We asked for the tab once she came back after we had eaten because we were beyond ready to leave. Eventually she came back with the tab. My husband and I were there to celebrate mothers day with my mom (and her bf) so we were splitting the tab. We sat there for over 20 minutes waiting for her to come back and run our cards. I have never been more tempted to walk a tab in my LIFE! This girl didn't give a rats a$$ from the jump and let it be known. We were sitting outside and what little we did see her, she spent most of that time up at the inside bar talking. My husband said his food would have been good had it not been almost cold. Mine was alright. My husband has been in the service industry for over 15 years and currently manages a restaurant in Uptown Dallas so we can totally sympathize when places are short handed or running behind but this was not that type of situation. We ended up being there for close to 3 hours and it was awful. We spent a total of $80 to be made to feel like a burden. I dont even know the last time I had service this bad. Also none the dirty tables were ever cleared the entire time we were there.

Came here just for drinks after brunch! I'm very familiar with bar Louis and usually enjoy but the service was so not good! Everyone seems to have an attitude or something! This was my first visit to Dallas and they didn't make me feel like I should have even given them my money for my drinks!!!!
