Came here for restaurant week and the experience was terrible. :( The food was average at best and undercooked at worst. We got dry, bland cornbread that might have been okay if the gumbo came out timely so it could be dipped but there was an hour-long gap between bread and apps. Gumbo was the best dish of the night and it still lacked flavor. Crawfish risotto was bland and had a fishy taste. Mains came another hour later. At this point we are 2 hours in which is crazy, we sat down at 5 in a mostly empty restaurant. The morel pasta was an atrocity, no other way to say it. The mushrooms were mush, the pasta was literally hard, it was listed on menu as pappardelle but fettuccini was served. The etoufee had similar flavor profile to the gumbo but was served with hard rice?! At this point we were over it and left before dessert. We asked our server when that would be coming and she looked flabbergasted and said uhm, I have no idea. She was terrible and had zero customer service skills. Anyway, drove a half hour to get here after hearing great things and was so disappointed. This meal cost me $140 with mandatory tip. No tip was deserved and I was shocked that they would serve such basic elements (rice, pasta) undercooked.
