Bogie's Place Boston Reviews
Great date night at Bogie Place! Very cozy.
We had a couple seated behind us that were making out before and after our dining session ... not that appetizing for us ... but promotes the general coziness vibe. We got the filet mignon and ribeye - both perfect! Also got the Mac n Cheese, very

Bogie's is definitely a cool little spot - essentially a speakeasy steakhouse hidden inside The Wig Shop bar. There are only a couple tables, making it feel quite exclusive while dining. The service is reasonable with basically one server/barte

Visited this place before Christmas based off a friend's recommendation. The place was small intimate and dark. It was attached to a speakeasy which was busy when we walked in. The service was good and the steaks were better than expected. The o

This is a great spot, I can't believe we had never been before. There were 4 of us on a Saturday night, we had a blast (we were pretty well lubricated before we got there, that didn't hurt). I went in knowing it was a bit on the pricey end

What an awesome surprise.
It's a very cool setup. The service team was awesome and the food was great. If the front desk at our hotel hadn't told bus about it we would have missed out on a great experience. It is primarily reservations only but they were able to sne

Good steak but overpriced and pretentious.
Bogie’s Place. The attempt: a hidden fine-dining steak house. The server was dressed to match the table’s white linen and water goblets. Cue the torch to dazzle you with some fancy butter-melting moves. They were blasting music from the prohibiti
Service and food were very good.

The atmosphere here was really cool and unique.
Had to enter through a Wig Shop. They escort you to this private back room with a few tables. Very chic, velvet walls, small bar but very attentive staff. A huge plus was the private bathroom in the back. Perfect to have a conversation with dinner no
Small hole in a wall type of place, but great service.
I love the asparagus, and the steak was really well seasoned (which is super rare imo). Overall, would recommend for a nice date night (it's also attached to the Wig Shop bar)
Amazing service.
Jeremy was attentive, accommodating and patient with us all night. We didn't feel rush or pressured. The food and drinks were top notch!! Everything made our night special. We will be back.
The place was nice enough and had good drinks and salads.
However, our $90 steaks were disappointing. We've had much better steaks for the same price (or less) at nearby steakhouses. Maybe it was an off night or steak is just not their thing. We'd maybe go again but not for steak.

Bogie's always comes up as one of the best steakhouses in Boston for a reason. It won't come up as one of the flashy places that attract tourists. This is a place to go if you really just want a great steak and are willing to pay a good amount for it

We came for a friend's birthday and had a fantastic time.
Our server was Jeremy and he was great - we had a few questions about the menu which he was very knowledgeable of, he helped us pick out a bottle of wine, and overall made the entire dinner very fun which we appreciated! The space is very intimate

Be thankful I'm not writing a full review, but let it be known this was my WORST dining experience in Boston EVER. As a person in the service industry- I'm flabbergasted!

A three seems harsh, as there wasn't anything that bad on the menu or, for that matter, any issues with the staff or vibe of the restaurant. It was just WAYYY too expensive for the amount we got (two apps, two drinks, and two entrees). The price wasn
TLDR, Service is amazing.
.. location is awesome... ambience is great... waitstaff are pros...food is not much to write home about. Nice experience to have once, but if revisiting just come for the drinks and ambience. Food is average and priced well above-average. PROS: Bogi
Try for a special night with 2-4 people
Unique and memorable dining experience. Great spot before a show. Service was excellent. Kevin really took care of us. Drinks are creative. Steaks are excellent. Bone marrow abd Tuna tartare were perfect apps.
Such an amazing dining experience.
I went with my best friend as a late birthday dinner and we absolutely loved the experience. They did have us wait at JM Curley and it was a bit awkward just standing around but we did not wait more then 10 minutes for our table. It was a unique and

I came to Bogie's Place when a friend was visiting Boston recently, and I really liked it! Bogie's Place is on the side of JM Curley's, tucked away behind a nice curtain. They are two ENTIRELY different establishments--not to speak poorly of JM Curle

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Bogie's Place Boston at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Bogie's Place Boston page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* PatientCloth46, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* PatientCloth46 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to PatientCloth46 for any questions Peter may have as PatientCloth46 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* PatientCloth46 now uses their connections at Bogie's Place Boston to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If PatientCloth46 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, PatientCloth46 receives the $200 reward which is credited to PatientCloth46's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Bogie's Place Boston!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
