Dessert: macaroni :)
The place is beautiful, you will want everything from the moment you are waiting to enter. The taste is uff, we ordered caccio pepe, bolognese, pizza peperonni, madonne salad, dessert the great macarone and the bignetes... I couldn't say which was my favorite because everything tasted very good, the only thing I could say is that they take a little while in the service and I suggest booking so you don't miss out. If you are a little conservative and you go with little children, the area is for an adult party haha
Be the first to ReplyAn Italian Gem in Downtown LA
Bottega Louie was recommended for lunch by staff at our hotel and is on the 700 block of S. Grand Ave. It is a bright and open restaurant, and upon entering, you are greeted by an intoxicating aroma. The lunch menu is varied with breakfast foods, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. There is a huge display case of macarons and other Italian desserts. Our server, Gladys, made our experience all the more pleasant with her kind, pleasant, and outgoing personality. This restaurant is also open for breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyBottega reaches the Mexican heart, you have to live the experience
Excellent experience, they completely met the expectations of flavor, creativity and service, I highly recommend it, the pastas and salads are a delight
Be the first to ReplyDelicious authentic Italian cuisine
One of the best places for authentic Italian food in Los Angeles. Delicious, the salad, the pasta trenne, the pizza, a delight with careful attention.
Be the first to ReplyMultipurpose business, from pastry shop to restaurant
Da Louis is a remarkable pastry shop that serves from breakfast to sweets by the slice, whole cakes, and is a showcase of beautiful macharones; the restaurant appears distracting and given the height of the ceiling with very disturbed acoustics... average food, nothing important (overcooked and tasteless spaghetti); I count an over charge of 5% to mitigate inflation, I find it ridiculous, given among other things the considerable prices..., overall average
Be the first to ReplyIncorrect practice to charge higher.
They charged us higher for a croissant whereas we’d asked for a pastry. When I highlighted the error, they didn’t refund the amount proactively until I had to speak to a manager. The manager assured me of a refund but it’s been 12 days now, and I have not received it yet and I don't think its coming. I cannot trust this place again. The place is also very loud, you can barely communicate with the staff or amongst yourselves. The food was mediocre at best, and we’ve had better food at other nearby bakeries.
Be the first to ReplyVery West Hollywood when it comes to a meal.
Welcome to Hollywood. Or West Hollywood anyway. We were here for dinner and aa special evening to celebrate. We were here a few days before to pick up a pretzel and some pastries. These were excellent. Now we are here for dinner. And that was some dinner. We sat at the table and met the lovely assistant to help us through the evening. She was very helpful and friendly. We decided to start with our cocktails. A good choice at a fair price was offered. The wine was a good selection to enjoy from both Napa and over in France or Italy and more. This was brought to us along with fresh bread to try as we prepared to order. The bread was ideal. Nice and firm, but soft inside. It was very fresh. An ideal offer as we waited. We even could order two rounds of the bread which was perfect. We made our order and then waited. The empty location then slowly filled up with more and more guests for the evening. They were all attractive and truly part of the scene. They fit the place. Knew what to eat. And how to enjoy where they were. Our orders started with salads. These were very fresh and enjoyable. I could have made a meal from the salad by itself. It was plentiful and tasty. The arrangement was ideal. It was the "look" that made it attractive to have. Next arrived our meals. It was a variety we selected. From a beef rid to chicken parmesan to salmon to pasta. All were different and plentiful as well. My pasta was nice and different. Having spent several weeks in Rome in May I knew what I expected. This was nice. A bit al dente but a good sauce and fresh pasta to have. The chicken parm was a bit dry. The sauce was good. There was no side such as pasta or vegetable. It was strictly the chicken. The rib was good and tender served on mashed potatoes. The salmon was medium and had its few sides. Deseret is a selection of pastry and macaroons. It was also very fresh and enjoyable after a graceful meal. You are not rushed when you are here. Dinner took a few hours to enjoy as you talked and could watch the crowd there. The prices are what you expect. A dinner for 6 does cost money. So expect that to happen. This is more high-end. The service is the best. The team is excellent and proper. They do everything for you before you even expect it. They are there to help and very nice. Our comments to the managers and the team. Bottega Louie is a wonderful place to visit. You can give it a try. It is in a wonderful area of West Hollywood. It has the right crowd. It has good food. It is a great team. And for an experience it is a place to go. As the old saying goes: "bring your pocketbook". You will need it.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent breakfast. An oasis.
Excellent Pastry Cafe in Los Angeles. Place with a nice atmosphere, very large, refined and clean. You can enjoy an excellent breakfast with prepared desserts and many options. Very kind staff. An oasis in Los Angeles; we had a really good time.
Be the first to ReplyItalian eatery meets French patisserie in West Hollywood
Perfect eatery combined with a French patisserie kind of vibe in one of the most lively location in West Hollywood. The place is vibing especially during a Sunday brunch after Saturday’s shenanigans. The eggs Benedict were just perfect and people watching while sipping a Mimosa in the very spacious restaurant or in the garden is what makes its sophisticated ambiance. The food has a nice selection of sweet and savoury dishes and the cocktails are just so good.

Spectacular bakery in downtown L.A. The decoration is super pretty, the service is professional and the product is very good. We went for breakfast two days and we loved it.

Met some friends for lunch in Weho. One of them suggested we go to Bottega. The menu is not overwhelming. I had a club sandwich. It was a pretty good club sandwich. Not a cheap club sandwich but I don’t anything In California is cheap. The service was great and it’s a very clean place. When you first walk in take note of the pastry counter. You’re gonna want some of those macaroons. I housed 3 before regaining my self control. The salted caramel was the winner but I’m sure they are all fabulous. Great spot for lunch.

Been multiple times and always enjoyed the experience. Good menu, well executed in a aesthetically pleasing location.

Me and my girlfriend we were looking for an italian restaurant. Service was excellent very friendly staff. Food is overpriced for what it is $100 for a pepperoni pizza, pasta and 2 small cokes. The Place is fancy if you’re trying to impress your partner but if you’re just traveling not a good place to eat at.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for early dinner with friends.
Reservation for an early dinner (5:30) with old friends was easy online, We were well accommodated on the back patio with plenty of heaters and felt both safe and cozy. Food and service were excellent. Not too noisy for seniors.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect for Weekend Brunch and Weekday Breakfast!
We ate at Bottega Louie 3 out of our 5 days stay, during a business conference in Downtown LA Financial District. Tells you how much we enjoy the food, ambience and selection of Pattiserie for to bring back to the hotel. We love everything we ordered, from Smoked Salmon Benedict, French Toast (with Pear Compote), Farmers Market Breakfast, Spinach and Goat Cheese Omelette to Burrata Cheese (ala carte)... so good to share and satisfying for your own portion. We took back Chocolate Crossiant, Dungarees, Pretzels... and way too much sweets to say no to.

Wry inviting pastry counter. Lots of macaroon flavours. Opted to eat in with our small almond, cherry and pistachio cake. Delicious! Pricey but was very nice and could have eaten a while one myself! Has a cocktail bar and serves teas/coffees (takeaway style) but you can sit down and consume.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic macaroons
We called in for the macaroons on the advice of a local friend and they were great. Easily as good as Parisienne ones, with interesting flavours like dragonfruit. They were so good we called in again twice (and we were only in LA for 4 days!). Magnifique!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Ambience, excellent food
We've gone there a couple of times in the past and have enjoyed the food immensely. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's been a while so I can't remember, exactly, what we ate but, I can assure you, it was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyFeast for the senses!
We stopped in to enjoy their pastry counter, and boy did it NOT disappoint! Macarons and other tasty treats displayed to absolute perfection. Staff was amazing, and the macarons we purchased lived up to their reputation. This is a 'don't miss' destination when in West Hollywood.
Be the first to ReplyBrunch place in downtown L.A.
This was recommended by our friends when we visited Los Angeles. And I’m happy we went for brunch. Their menu prices are on the higher scale but the food is worth every penny. I highly recommend! Service is good and macarons are delicious.

CaMe here for a birthday brunch. It was a Sunday morning and it was a pretty good crowd to be so early. There was a bit of a wait as they do not take reservations, however they do check for vaccination cards. This place is like a French Italian dream reminds you of both countries, with rows of fresh bread ,colorful pastries and macaroons. an open kitchen and beautiful masonry. I was loving the decor! The bakery packages your order in cute pink and purple boxes tied with a satin ribbon. There is even a pizza oven in the middle of the dining room so you
Can see the whole process. Starched table cloths and servers in white, all That’s missing is the Eiffel Tower or the Roman coliseum, not sure? Had the lobster hash and the souflee pancake both fresh and delicious. Cant wait to return for dinner.
Rude and Racist place
Today, My family and I visited this place. The Beverly Hills location was the first time we ever visited this place this was during the summer of 2021 and we enjoyed it so much. At this location we were never asked to show proof of vaccination to dine-in. Well, today we had a bias situation with this place, my respects to all workers that run this facility and make it a fabulous place and tasty. The racist old men who runs the show/floor refused to my family and I a tablet to dine-in unless we have proof of vaccination. He acted in a rudely and bias way towards our family. I asked him what about a negative test and He responded in a very negative tone NO YOU MUST HAVE A VACCINATION PROOF!!! checked ✔️ their website just now for health and safety requirements and there is no proof of vaccination listed on their requirements. To us this is bias and discrimination gainst our color of our skin and against our ethnicity. See listed requirements off their website below: there were no signage at the entrance door for vaccination required!

This place is racist! This old men needs to be schooled by owner! I wonder how he treats my colleagues Mexicans that work under his command!
Divine, delicious- cannot wait to return
I had a wonderful lunch with a beautiful friend at Louie’s - who would have thought a simple catch up for salad and pizza would feel like I was back in Roma? We shared a Caesar, and the Louie (crab, avocado, egg, a secret dressing… need I say more?).. followed by one of the best pizzas I’ve had since living in Italy. Sit out the beach if you can, it’s simply gorgeous, and the staff are wonderfully accomodating. Plus, of course you MUST treat yourself to a pastry of three (four? Five?) on the way out. Inside I was in Roma, on the way out, back in Paris!! A true patisserie… how can anyone resist those macarons?? I dare you!! Thank you Louie…
Be the first to ReplyWest Hollywood Bottega Louie
The Bottega Louie restaurant in West Hollywood would not pull up so I am writing a review. This restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd is gorgeous, clean and has a wonderful
covered patio in the back. We had the Tortufo Pizza with black truffles and it was outstanding. It is plenty for two or 3 people. Nicholas was our waiter and could not have been nicer and more helpful. He will be my go to waiter there from now on. Love this place!
Love love love everything from start to finish!
Hands down, the BEST Italian food I have ever had! Such a good variety and a great experience! My whole party ordered different dishes, so it got to sample a few different dishes! Just say yes to dessert!
