Healthy and satisfying
I have been here several times and every meal has been delicious. I always get one of their specials and the homemade lemonade if available.
Be the first to ReplyGreat, healthy lunch spot
I was in Queen Anne a couple of times during my visit to Seattle, and on both visits, I had delicious lunches at Bounty Kitchen.
The first time, I got the classic tuna salad, served on a delicious slice of hearty bread with a slice of cheese. It was a nice, but not absurdly large, portion. The tuna salad had a great texture (veggies for crunch). The second time, I was even more impressed: I got the Thai peanut and basil salad. It was so good: perfectly dressed with mildly spicy peanut dressing, the perfect blend of lettuce and other veggies, and outstanding texture. Portion size was substantial and reasonable for the price.
COVID-19 restrictions were being followed carefully by staff.
A really yummy spot for healthy, varied lunch fare. Will happily return!
801 Lenora location is AWESOME!
We requested Trip Advisor add the Denny Triangle location to their site - they haven't. The Boston Street location may be just as good - read other reviews.
What a fantastic breakfast! My husband and I both had the Forager Scramble - wild mushrooms, spinach, potato, scallion and scrambled eggs. It was served with Sea Wolf Sourdough Toast and homemade strawberry jam. Everything was delicious, generous portion, hot and great service. We will definitely go back the next time we're in Seattle.
Great Brunch
My friend and I visited late morning after a hike. The coffee was great and our food was delicious. I had granola and yogurt while my friend had a salad. Service was quick and courteous. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Iโd definitely go to this restaurant again.
Be the first to ReplyHealthy choice with counter service
Decided to meet at this restaurant as business lunches tend to get a bit unhealthy. The decor is relatively unassuming and it is in Queen Anne district after all, so some hipster / trendy attitude is to be expected.
The people working there were perfunctory. Doing their job but not really warm and welcoming but also not rude.
It is a counter service in that you order and pay and take a number to your table. There is seating inside and picnic table seating out on their patio.
They donโt explain the counter service or have any signage but it was not hard to figure that out.
I ordered the braised beef bowl which had 3 small chunks of meat, but fattier than expected.
It was a decent meal but not exceptional.
Breakfast- mixed reviews
My husband and I visited the Bounty Kitchen- Denny Triangle location. It was a mixed experience. I ordered the daily special of asparagus with grits and sunny side up egg. Highly recommended! Asparagus was perfectly cooked (no floppy sogginess here) and the grits were light with that mild chew to them that I like. A blend of herbs and, I believe, mint was drizzled around the periphery of the grits that added not only a pleasant visual element, but a great flavor boost as well. The egg was also expertly cooked with a slight crispness to the edges of the whites while the yoke still ran into the grits when cut. Iโm not certain if it was Tabasco sauce or something else, but there was a sprinkle of something slightly red over the top. Just enough to bring all the flavors together.
Unfortunately my husband ordered their version of a โham scrambleโ which he later told me could only be described as having an โanimalโ flavor to it. Iโm not sure about you but anything described as tarting like โanimalโ is not appealing (and no, I am not a vegetarian).
He did say that his vanilla, cinnamon latte was excellent.
Good healthy food, service slipping
We go to Bounty Kitchen about once a month. The food is tasty and healthy and the service is generally prompt. Last couple of visits, including tonight, the service has been less than stellar. Last time, the server forgot my soup, ordered with my salad, until I reminded her. Tonight it took 20 minutes to get two salads to go. Place wasnโt that busy, and I was watching the people march along on Queen Anne Ave and Boston St. However, I started to notice people who arrived after I did were being served and still no order for me. Just as I started to inquire, the server rushed up and handed me my order and apologized for taking so long. When I said it seemed to take an awfully long time to prepare two salads to go, she just reiterated she was sorry, but offered no explanation or other indication of what happened. When I got home, my wife just said, โthat certainly took a long time.โ It seems we all agree.
Go for the good food, but recognize you might have to wait a bit for it or remind someone that you are hungry. The avocado toast, the lentil bowl and all of the entrees are filling, full of tasty surprises and delightfully delicious.
Mediocre Food/Poor service
I joined a friend for lunch at Bounty Kitchen and was very disappointed in both the service and the choice of menu items. The salad I chose was not appealing. I also didn't really like going to the counter to order, since the process was not clear to me when we entered. Price was reasonable.

Ordered a salad and a cup of soup, plus a small ginger shot. The salad was yummy but not chocked full of items it was supposed to feature. Soup was okay. Ginger shot was excellent. Lunch was $22. The place has limited seating on a cold day. There is a large great table in the center to share. We were interrupted twice by other patrons asking us to move to other seats so their party could sit together (meaning my niece and I would not be sitting together!). Although its not the restaurants fault that people were rude, perhaps having separate tables would help. Will go back to try breakfast items, but may consider an order to go.

I came in for a lunch dish and there were many choices that looked great. I ordered a special, soba noodle salad, and all the ingredients were fresh and tasted good together. The right combinations, and right amount of dressing. I will come back!
