Overall, the ambience inside the restaurant is excellent.

3/5 by 👻 @Armine P. on 07/24/2024

Service was fine. I liked that they had a whole array of non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. We chose not to have the feast. The entree they provided in the feast was chicken yesterday and we were more interested in trying the octopus and dolmas. We started with the baba ghanosh which was excellent. The pita was freshly baked and lovely. The crunchy carrot salad was very nice. The kanpachi had a bone it it. It's the first time I've had sashimi with a bone in it. I've taken off a whole star for that because that was just unacceptable. It lodged in my throat and was bad. The octopus was tender, but not memorable flavor-wise. The dolmas were dry. The grape leaves were not tender and the meat inside (all meat, no rice) was a nice flavor but dry. Overall, it was an average experience. We probably won't go back. But its a good place for an after-work drink if you're in the neighborhood.

Loved the decor.

5/5 by 👻 @Jasmine L. on 07/13/2024

Felt super trendy and chic. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was so so so good. Best meal we had in San Diego. Almost everything was 5/5! Hummus 4/5 but we had to have the garlic and sauce they normally include on the side since it wasn't vegan for my husband to try it Bluefin tuna toast - I could eat 5 of these Uni toast - so creamy and sweet with the warmth and saltiness of the jamon; perfect balance of flavors Lamb chops - perfectly cooked Hanger steak - exceptional Aleppo chicken - the flavors on this were sooooo good! And still so tender and juicy. Vegan bucatini - nice mixture of textures and flavors Carrots - very nice Patatas - a little over done but still tasted good Chocolate cookie - was probably the most disappointing haha. Was just a typical chocolate chip cookie with a tartness in it from the tahini The only other note that was a bit irksome was that the restaurant didn't have a changing table in the restroom. But overall we loved our food and experience at Callie and look forward to coming back again!

We started the evening with a drink from the bar while waiting for our reservation time to arrive. The bar team were very attentive and happily moved our cocktails to our table. Once we sat down, we were served and had the Mediterranean feast and the wine pairing. It was a wonderful evening and they accommodated my request for mushrooms to not be the focus of any of the dishes. Every item was amazing and delicious. Wonderfully paired with every wine and the staff were attentive and kind. I bought a shirt to remember the evening because they're so cute!

Superb dining with dishes made to share. Extremely well cooked and meat so tender that it melts. This goes for the chicken (a must), the duck breast and the lamb chops (my rival favorite). Few, but good wines by the glass and an extensive wine list incl 'rare finds'. Huge bar and cocktail list. Service fast p, friendly, and knowledgeable.

everything was fantastic, from the food to the location to the service. One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. It was expensive, but some time you get what you pay for. The staff all seemed to be having a good time, so hopefully that means they are treated well. Oh the food, would love to go back--I was most excited about the carrots! What an enjoyable night out. We arrived at our reservation time, were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Started with a non-alcoholic Negroni which was refreshing. We asked to share the drink and they split the drink into two for us. Sampled the hummus as an appetizer with homemade pita bread. We had the pappardelle and a duck special as entrees and finished dessert with the pavlova. The hummus was tasty and the pita bread was unique and airy. The entrees were enjoyable and tasty. The pavlova was light with a taste of lemon meringue. We loved the food and the elevated experience and look forward to our next visit!

There has been a lot of buzz about Callie, so I finally had

4/5 by 👻 @Cheryl G. on 03/20/2024

There has been a lot of buzz about Callie, so I finally had to check it out. It was quite good but I wouldn't call it incredible, and I'm going to tell you why. I would honestly give it 3 1/2 stars, but Yelp does not allow halves so I rounded up- a three star review would've been unfair. One of my girlfriends, and I decided to do a dinner out for our birthdays. We went for the Mediterranean feast, because the five course chef tasting menu sounded like so much fun. We also split one of the wine pairing flights... Not to be cheap, but because we can't drink that much in the evening anymore and sleep at night. The first two courses, the trio of dips, and the Japanese Kanpachi were fantastic. We both agreed that the Kanpachi was the best dish of the night. The main course, which was the halibut, was visually appealing, but unremarkable in taste and texture. A piece of halibut was sliced, so thin, that it seemed to be overcooked, and the flavor of the fish was overwhelmed by the toppings. The beet and citrus salad that came with was fabulous, but the two dishes did not make sense together. Our server recommended the rice pudding for dessert and we also each got a 2.5 oz glass of a dessert wine that he told us was the best desert wine he had ever tasted. I understand that enjoying wine is truly a matter of taste, so I'm not saying that it wasn't good I'm just saying I didn't find it to be spectacular personally, or a particularly good pairing for the rice pudding. Overall, the preselected flight of wines did go very well with the meal and we appreciated being able to split them so we could enjoy it but not feel poorly later. I thought the restaurant was actually nicer inside than the pictures of it were that I saw. I don't quite understand the cafeteria like aesthetic that a lot of these nice restaurants seem to be going for these days. The pictures on their website did not do the decor justice, and the patterned tile was very pretty. The lighting seemed to be very stark, however. I think they were going for moody, but it missed the mark. Our server was friendly and engaging, and we particularly enjoyed chatting with the server assistant. My biggest issue however, with the experience was that each of us ended up paying about $150 each for the meal. I don't mind paying for quality cuisine but two hours later I was hungry and I was warming up chicken nuggets in my toaster oven. It just wasn't enough food for me.

Great food, but just an overall rip-off

2/5 by 👻 @zschramm on 03/19/2024

First, the food was really good here, so don't get me wrong. The issue is just the portion sizes. Shareable family style means that it is enough to share, at least I thought so. Our table of 4 was having to take one little portion of an entree plate that came out and divide it up. It's really embarassing how little food is provided. With the labnehs we had to ADD a pita and got ONE for 4 people. With the Uni Toast we had to get 2 orders for $58 for one tiny little piece of bread each.... (It was good as I said) The pasta dish was excellent, but for 2x the price and 1/4 of the portion size of other resturants, it just sours the whole experience. Oh and of course the entrees are ala carte so you don't even get a few veggies with it which cost nothing. Finally, the server explained everything so fast and when we were talking that a lot is missed. When the bill finally came there is 20% (+4%) gratuity already included which I missed. So I had to call back later and have that adjusted. Our service was not 20% worth, and I especially don't like when it is added by default avoiding letting the customer determine the quality of service. I suppose this experience is good to remember to be vigilent when choosing resturants and look out for blantant rip-offs, no matter the quality of the taste. Most expensive resturant bill I've had here and I left feeling hungry and ate some mac and cheese when I got home.

Some of the unique items here that I would get over and over again: * Aleppo Chicken: with wonderful sweet and spicy glaze * Duck Breast: extremely crispy and crunchy skin Some of the solid dishes that are just as good elsewhere: * Hummus with Spicy Zhoug * Mediterranean Octopus * Japanese Kanpachi * Crunchy Eqyptian Carrots A dish that I thought was weird (1 star off): * Spaghetti with Lemon and Uni: I have had pasta plus uni and the combination is quite good, however, adding the lemon does not work. The pasta was just weirdly sour. The food here is Mediterranean, but encompasses a little bit of Japanese flavors as well. Both the food and drinks are great. The restaurant is modern and spacious, making me feel way cooler than I actually am when I am here.

Vibe was casual. Only 1 star off for a lack of service when it comes to not offering cake service if you want to have a cake brought in for special occasion. Charge us to let is bring a type of cake you don't offer! ;-) I respect a right to make that decision but it comes off as a lower caliber service for the tier of restaurant Callie is, so that was the only thing that surprised us- maybe it's common in the area idk. I read in other reviews the attitude is generally not that accommodating but our experience was okay and friendly.

Callie was a standout dining experience in San Diego - The Truffle Pasta was exceptional, especially with the added black truffle flakes on top. The Hamachi Carpaccio and Hummus/Babaganoush with pita was a perfect light second course of the meal. A slight letdown comes with the dessert--Lemon Curd with angel hair sugar flakes. The restaurant's ambiance is elegant, blending contemporary and timeless elements. Efficient, attentive service adds to the overall positive experience. Callie stands out as a go-to spot for those seeking a straightforward, enjoyable five-course meal with a pleasing atmosphere.

Spent my birthday at Callie and was welcomed to a birthday

4/5 by 👻 @Anthony D. on 03/06/2024

Spent my birthday at Callie and was welcomed to a birthday card which was a really nice touch from the restaurant. The interior is really spacious and has both a relaxed and chique aesthetic that I really appreciated. Our server was amazing throughout the evening and he helped us understand how their "Mediterranean Feast" works since we were eyeing that from the beginning. It's basically the best way for you to try a sampling of their menu via a 5-course meal. The waiter informed us of what each dish was going to be a part of the feast (I'm not sure if the selection is the same for every night - I assume not) but in any case we opted for the Mediterranean Feast which for $75/person is a pretty good value. For the starter, we got the Hummus, Babaghanoush, Avocado Labneh, and Pita Bread. The bread was really soft and I thought the babaghanoush was the best dip out of the 3. It was the most flavorful and I really enjoyed it. The hummus was also very good and the avocado labneh had a nice citric touch. The labneh tasteh also gave me a little "green juice" vibes. The other starter was the Japanese Kanpachi which was executed perfectly. The green "hot sauce" was delicious and the fish was really soft and was cut the perfect thickness. The first main course was the Wild Nettle Scarpinocc which had a really good mushroom flavor and delicious cheese. Although a really tasty pasta, it wasn't a big standout dish overall. The second main course was the Aleppo Chicken which was packed with flavor! The meat was cooked perfectly. Super tender, juicy, and moist which is really impressive considering the thickness of some parts of the chicken. This was served with the Crunchy Egyptian Carrots as the side. The carrots were good but flavor-wise nothing too special. I do think that because they came out together, eating the chicken and carrots together was too much acidity. There needed to be a neutral component to help balance out this portion of the meal. Whether that be bread, rice, etc that would have really helped neutralize some of the strong flavors and allowed me to keep eating more. The dessert of the feast was the Meyer Lemon Pavlova which was really fun to eat. The pavlova provided a nice bite texture to the soft meyer lemon pudding. Also there was some floss-like looking accompaniment to the dish that I can only best describe as a fancy version of cotton candy where it melts in your melt. Separately we also ordered the Turkish Rice Pudding. My gf really liked this but to me it was just alright. It had a nice brulee top to it which was different but the flavor was nothing exceptional. I really enjoyed my meal at Callie and would happily return for a special occasion. I love the Mediterranean Feast option since it allows your group to try a variety of dishes without having to spend full price on each dish and if I were to return, I'd opt to do the feast again but with different dishes offered.

Snagged a reservation at Callie for my partners Birthday

5/5 by 👻 @Brianne C. on 03/06/2024

Snagged a reservation at Callie for my partners Birthday and we arrive to a birthday card in the table! The service here is amazing, never an empty water glass, very knowledgeable of the menu, and polite. We came here specifically for their Mediterranean Feast and that is exactly what we ordered. It is 5 courses for two or more people from dips to dessert. Started with a trio of dips: hummus, babaghanoush, and the avocado labneh. All three were lovely. Avocado was so vibrant and citrusy and babaghanoush had a great depth in flavor. Japanese kanpachi: so smooth with a great brightness from the sauce. I could add that sauce to everything. Wild Nettle Scarpinocc: subtle in flavor, could have had more of a punch, but still amazing. Just because it wasn't my favorite of the entire dinner doesn't mean it wasn't delicious. Crunchy Egyptian carrots: wow, never thought I'd love carrots this much. They are almost pickled but still had a big crunch. I really enjoyed these carrots. Aleppo chicken: perfectly crispy, perfectly juicy. Lemon pavlova: so interesting! The custard with the meringue with the floss. So many textures. I loved it. I did order an extra rice pudding on top of the feast because it was staring at me from the menu. It did not disappoint. Not too sweet, full of texture from the rice to the pistachios to the bruleed top. This dinner was one for the books and I definitely recommend the feast for an easy experience.

Some good and some bad, not worth a visit.

2/5 by 👻 @mopsos on 01/17/2024

Recently, our group of five ventured into Calle San Diego, eager to dive into their much-raved culinary offerings and the curated Chef’s meal leading one through five courses. We opted for the Chef's Choice, priced at $75 per person, anticipating a feast of fantastic quality and creativity. Instead, we were met with a few incredible highs and too many unfortunate lows. Let's start with the highlights: The hummus, babaghanoush, and pita are the best in San Diego. Each bite was a delightful journey through rich, creamy textures and perfectly balanced flavors. However, not all was smooth sailing. The hangar steak was a letdown, with an odd texture and lack of flavor, failing to live up to the standard set by the rest of the meal. A notable mention must be made of the duck ragu – a dish that shone brightly among the courses. Unfortunately, this high was met with a low when we tasted the agnolotti – it was so excessively salty that it crossed into the realm of inedibility. An unsettling aspect of our experience was the chef's presence. Rather than visiting our table, which was right in front of the open kitchen, he observed us from behind the counter throughout our meal, lending a somewhat uncomfortable air to our dining experience. A point of contention was the billing strategy. The restaurant adds a service charge to cover labor costs – an unnecessary practice. Adjusting menu prices would be a more transparent approach. Additionally, a mandatory 20% gratuity was included, which we felt contributed to the subpar service we received. One incident that stood out was when a member of our party requested ice for his water. The bus person's outright refusal by shaking her head no, followed by the need to involve the manager, was a service faux pas. The staff's eagerness to clear our table while we were eating and their premature offer of to-go boxes while we were still enjoying our last course added to the feeling of being rushed. This was particularly perplexing given that the restaurant was still a third full and nowhere near closing time. In conclusion, while Calle San Diego does offer some culinary delights, the overall experience could be better served by more consistent dishes and a less-than-ideal service approach. For those looking to explore San Diego's dining scene, there are undoubtedly many other establishments that promise a more harmonious and satisfying experience.

A hopping new place

One of us had made a reservation, which included a deposit. We parked in the adjacent parking garage, and the parking was paid for by the restaurant. We were seated in a busy, noisy room. Our server explained that sharing food was the usual there. We ordered some fancy cocktails. We shared our first course. Best of that course was the beet salad. The four of us each chose an entre from duck to shrimp to pasta. All were very good, but maybe not worth the prices.

It's Too Spicy and Expensive

1/5 by 👻 @TheTruth on 09/17/2023

The food was expensive. The drinks were very small pours. It is so noisey that you can hardly hear the person in front of you without leaning in and straining to hear. The main course didn't come with any hint of a vegetable at all, not even 1 or 2 small pieces of anything. The shaved carrots tasted like you were eating vinegar and were not to my taste whatsoever. They automatically charge you 20% gratuity for the waiter who could be horrible or good which I don't think is any incentive for them to be a good waiter because they get 20% regardless. And then they charge you a 4% fee which again is for the servicing which you have no choice over. Who gets this and what is it really for, and is this legal to charge this additional fee? There was way too much time before we would see the waiter. The gave us our silverware in a box on the table for each of us to take out of the box instead of giving each person their silverware which I found to be lazy and not great service. Most of the food on the menu wasn't to my liking from the description except for one item on the entire menu. If not for this one item, there would have been nothing for me to order. All the food seems to be spicy and the others said their food was too spicy. They do pick up parking which is the only plus I found in the entire experience. Needless to say, I would never go back to this restraunt or recommend this restaurant to anyone for any reason.

Amazing all around atmosphere, service and food. If you want a certain day and time make reservations in advance on TOCK, in addition there is a $21. security reservation deposit which is deducted from the bill upon your arrival. I had made 7:15 Wednesday night dinner reservations for two. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated at a table for 2. The restaurant is beautiful, big and loud. Conner our server was amazing, very nice, informative and attentive. The restaurant is "Modern Mediterranean". Conner recommend family style sharing 3-4 dishes. When my friend and I travel we tend to share a lot so we can order and taste a variety of dishes anyway. We ordered cocktails, the Late Bloomer and the De La Montana, while looking over the menu... cocktails were amazing! LOL, since it was just the 2 of us, I went for the hard core dishes to try. We started off with the Beef Tartare, then moved to the Harissa Grilled Lamb Chops and Duck. I'm not a big Carb person, but I did order the House Pita with the Call Fire Hot Sauce for my friend. Honestly, with those dishes it was perfect, the duck breast was a whole breast and there were 4 meaty lamb ribs. The dishes were excellent. Loved all the flavors. Atmosphere: trendy, classy, big and loud. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.

Pretentious and overpriced !

2/5 by 👻 @vanda w on 06/24/2023

The tiniest portions of food I have ever seen. The advice from the server was to dine ‘family style’ and with that in mind we ordered a few appetizers from the brads and spreads menu. A single whole pita was served with the minuscule smear of babaganoush, which I then had to cut into small pieces to share. The other appetizers were equally tiny and equally as expensive. We all decided that we would order an entree each…….of course these didn’t come with veggies! The crispy potatoes were like croutons that you couldn’t get a fork into, and the carrots, were wafer thin raw slices in a bitter sauce. The plate of mushrooms was so tiny that only two servings could be obtained by scraping around the bowl. The service was good and the wait staff helpful, but I got the impression that it was a place to be seen in rather than a place to enjoy. Extraordinarily expensive too! Will not go back.

Second (and last) time we dine at Callie. They sell the family style to serve small end expensive portions along with $35 wine corkage. When your hot, you can get arrogant. We brought in our own wine and had opened the bottle to decant and replaced the cork. After the server reopened the bottle, he returned and said the manager informed him he could not serve an open bottle. I asked for the Manager and she told us that we could drink what was in our glasses but no more, per ABC laws. Of course I asked if were already drinking the the wine, what difference does it make. We then ordered a bottle from the restaurant. It was a birthday dinner and we informed the server of the date. When the check came, we were charged $35 for the corkage for wine we could not finish. And of course charged for all desserts I again asked for the manager and told Nathan that he should have done something. He said he disagreed. And he lost us forever.

We had the veggies/avacado labneh, kanapachi, tomato fattoush, pasta special with morels, and lamb dole and the tahini cookie. They were all prepared beautifully and they tasted nice and fresh, but it didn’t blow me away. I expected more from this place. Perhaps it is what we ordered, a lot were salads and probably could have used some type of carb?

I've been here two times, visiting from NY, and this place

5/5 by 👻 @Alicia C. on 03/23/2023

I've been here two times, visiting from NY, and this place I wish I could scoop up and transport it over to NYC as I would come here on the regular as this place is booming with flavor! Each dish is a masterclass in an invitation for the eyes while being a cataclysmic shift for your taste buds. Every single plate takes its own form so you don't need to fear that things start to feel monolithic dish to dish. You really get to celebrate each individual plate for what it is, and boy, they are all #tastyAF! Their duck will knock your socks off. Our first visit we actually ordered two portions because after eating one, we needed to revisit it again it was so good. One thing to note, it's not always on the menu, so you should call and ask if you are wanting duck. My second visit it wasn't on, I was slightly disappointed when I heard, but then I ate my disappointment once I had all the other masterful dishes. Don't sleep on the Lemon Saffon pasta - holy hell this is a game changing pasta plate. The Spring Asparagus and Iberico ham needs a seat at your table. You can never go wrong with their Octopus, cooked to perfection, and those Egyptian Carrots with creamy cashew sauce are a fan favorite. Tracy their sommelier does such a superb listening to what you like, considering the food in play, and then making an educated recommendation that you're sure to enjoy. Really happy with our choices each time thanks to her! Sprint your way here and get a table. It's not to be missed.

Ambience: A+ despite being close to other diners with a lot

5/5 by 👻 @Jeremy R. on 03/23/2023

Ambience: A+ despite being close to other diners with a lot of people, I could still have a conversation. Cool vibe.Service: A+. Friendly greeting at hostess table. Immediate introduction to Hailey who told us Alex would be our server. Super friendly.Food: started with the hummus and it was amazing. Olive oil was off the charts. Loved how we could mix in the spiciness from Jalapeño sauce as needed. Next was the morel special with cabbage. Morels overpowered by the dish but it was new and different.Lamb was excellent but wasn't star of the dish. Cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend, but don't expect to taste the amazing lamb.

I finally made it! A bit difficult to get in this place

5/5 by 👻 @Linda G. on 03/17/2023

I finally made it! A bit difficult to get in this place since they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but came in on a Friday and sat at the bar where no reservation is needed. Everyone who works here is very professional and so nice! I finally had a chance to try that coveted Aleppo Chicken and it was exotically delicious! Pretty pricey... but I was celebrating a personal accomplishment and will definitely be back for another special occasion.

We walked in, we're greeted promptly.

5/5 by 👻 @Rachel M. on 03/16/2023

It was a busy Saturday night and we got lucky and were seated promptly. They have a community table that was big enough to feel secluded away from the others sitting at it. Our server Jordan was knowledgeable, kind, had a great sense of humor. We started babaghanoush appetizer. It was the perfect amount of Smokey to citrus ratio. The fluffy warm pita was perfect. My wife and I shared the lamp chops, hangar steak and Egyptian carrots. We were impressed with the flavor profiles on each dish. We had the Tempranillo red wine with dinner and ended with dessert. I would recommend

I had an AMAZING experience.

5/5 by 👻 @Taylor M. on 03/13/2023

As a mom, I don't get out as often as I'd like and try to make my nights out well worth it. Callie did not disappoint. We opted to go the 'choose my courses' route and I sincerely enjoyed every plate and entree that was prepared for us. I would love to come back and select the wine pairings as well next time! -it's good to include that 20% tip is already included on your check, but I was very thankful that the service was amazing!

Incredible food and service, Callie is a restaurant I'll be

5/5 by 👻 @Josh F. on 03/11/2023

Incredible food and service, Callie is a restaurant I'll be returning to multiple times after going on my initial outing. The Lamb Chops were super smokey and flavorful and paired well with a Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. The side dish of carrots was an explosion of citrus flavors in your mouth with each bite and completely unexpected. Its easy to say each meal ordered was unforgettable and requires a return trip to reorder because they were delicious.

The food was amazing. I've been to a lot of nice restaurants and this is the best chicken I've ever had in my life. Nice twist on the carrots and babaganoush also. Halie was an amazing server and was super responsive to our orders/drinks.

If you're considering dining here, make a reso NOW! My bf

5/5 by 👻 @Ashley R. on 03/08/2023

If you're considering dining here, make a reso NOW! My bf booked a reservation for 2 at peak dinner time about two months out. With almost every bite of everything we ordered, we were in awe. This restaurant is definitely more quality over quantity so depending on your budget you may not leave full. Here's everything we ordered:- opah toro toast (10/10 i could eat 20 of these! Fish was fatty and flavorful, the toast complimented it very well)- Japanese kanpachi (9/10 i had never had kanpachi before and was pleasantly surprised! Super fresh, the "hot sauce" was soooo good)- lemon saffron linguine with uni (10/10 beautifully balanced, perfect amount of lemon & saffron)- dry aged duck breast (8.5/10 I'm personally not a huge duck fan, i thought this was a little dry)- chilled brocollini (9/10 tasty & good contrast with the warm entrees we were eating, loved the jalapeños on this for a kick)- Turkish rice pudding (9/10 love the caramelized crisp, great way to end the meal, not too heavy) Parking is a little hard to find but it's underground the restaurant (entrance is on 11th). Not to get confused with the padres parkade across the street. Service was fantastic and ambiance felt very upscale. Most of the people around us looking like middle-aged and up, lots of business people (maybe there was a convention that night). A pretty pricey date night but I definitely want to come back and try their other items since a lot of it looks seasonal!

Great ambience, very professional service and really great

4/5 by 👻 @Michael S. on 03/07/2023

Great ambience, very professional service and really great food, but I'm not a fan of $17-19 mezza plates, the table had 4 different entrees which were great, creative and worth the prices. We had a couple house dry aged duck dishes which were superb but disappointed to see the duck is no longer on the menu any longer and that was our main reason for going to Callie.

The highlight of our San Diego trip

5/5 by 👻 @Christine on 02/05/2023

We savored the five course tasting menu paired with a few cocktails, though we were very intrigued by other dishes coming out of the kitchen. The Chef’s training and command of the kitchen shine in the food prepared with local organic ingredients. Sublime flavors and the professional servers added to such a wonderful dining experience.

Terrific place to eat

5/5 by 👻 @krazykane on 10/29/2022

Came here for my birthday dinner with friends and I'm glad I did. First, there's a parking garage for Callie guests. This makes it easy to park and get to the restaurant. The decor was very hip and contemporary. The menu is Mediterranean-based and prices are not for the faint of heart. The staff was very cordial and our server (Bethany) was terrific. All the food was superb and worth the price. One of the most memorable dinners ever in San Diego. Highly recommended.

Connect with users posting reservations for Callie San Diego

AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Callie San Diego. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.

Read More on How Seller Track Record and the Bid Process Works Read More Action Icon

Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Callie San Diego at 6 PM the same day.

He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Callie San Diego page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.

That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.

Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.

3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Callie San Diego to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.

4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Callie San Diego!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
