Shame on you - management! What happened to this place ?! The food use to be delicious, the service is still very good but the food is awful. I think olive garden is better. I knew something was wrong when we walked in and it wasn't very busy
Went to dinner here with my family & friends.
When we got there we asked one waiter if there was a kids menu & they said yes it consisted of chicken tenders. Then when we ordered another waiter said no there's no chicken tenders in the kids menu & that there was no kids menu. Then w
Food was very good.
Had the meatballs and polenta they were excellent. The fish special melted in your mouth. Calamari was crispy only wish they served it with marinara sauce. My friend had the orecchiette, sausage and broccolini. It was excellent. The drinks were
Waited over an hour for the waiter to take our order.
Food was ok but couldn't find our waiter and was very disappointed
I made reservations, and we were sat quickly.
It's a nice classy place, perfect for groups or a date. I was with a party of 5, and we ordered wine. We had plenty of food, and most of it was good. However, when we got the bill, there was some confusion on the type of wine we ordered vs wh

A must go restaurant
Everything was outstanding from the ambiance to the service to the food. We had some amazing seafood dishes, grilled octopus salad but the Chilean sea bass with the Velasco sauce was fabulous!
One of the most absurd dining experiences I have ever had.
We came here to celebrate a birthday with a big family group. Drinks were flowing, appetizers were great, and my two-year-old son was quietly sitting at the table, eating his food, not bothering anyone. Then, right as the entrées arrived, the host c

WORST SERVICE EVER! Management needs an ego check.
Wish I could give it ZERO stars!! Decided to pickup dinner after getting family from the airport. Spent $150 on carry out. Everything tasted good except the polenta dish. Genuinely the saltiest food I've ever tried - had me wondering if the che

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The good, the bad and the ugly. Let’s start with the good. The food was good - everything from the sausage and peppers to the fried calamari to the veal piccata was all very tasty. The 8-finger cavatelli arrabiata was a bit bland. Also good
Nice!
I always say, you get what you pay for. I paid allot but I got a huge meal that was way better than I've had in a while. Great flavors in the soup and the bolognese. Everything was amazing. Franco was a great waiter. He recommended a few things
Huge portions, awesome staff
Before we went my husband looked up the reviews and, based on them, we were expecting 50/50 good vs bad. Luckily we got the good. We went before a concert on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. We waited just a little while for our waiter,
Excellent dinner
Great Italian food very close to O'Hare. The spaghetti and meatballs was probably the best we have had. Portions are generous and quality is high. They have a fussy dress code which is a little odd since it is so difficult to inforce.
Phony Bologna
My daughters and I were on a college tour/fashion outlets/girls weekend trip and we were staying at a hotel within walking distance of this restaurant. We decided to give it a shot. We walk in and are greeted by a STRICT dress policy, so although all
Great meal
The restaurant is close to the airport so we decided to grab one last meal before leaving Chicago. Great food with big portions. Our server Franco, was friendly and efficient. Leave room for dessert!
It’s lost some luster
Hi. Went here for dinner last night and have been going to Carmines since they opened in Rosemont years ago. Although the service is good and the portion size is plentiful , walking into this restaurant you would not even know it was an Italian resta
Disappointing
Poor service, very disappointing the more I think about our evening and meal. Celebrating our anniversary, we did mention at time of making reservation and hostess mentioned when we were seated. We waited at least 10 min for our waiter who then told

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Carmine's Rosemont at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Carmine's Rosemont page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Carmine's Rosemont to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Carmine's Rosemont!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
