Fantastic Location!] and the best breakfast in Norway!!
We spent a few days here and loved the hotel. The location was central to everything we wanted to see - no car needed except for Pulpit Rock and the tour company picked us up. Rooms were nice, bedding was comfortable and endless hot water. There is no AC, so you may need to request a fan. The breakfast was unlike anything I've ever seen - it was the most amazing breakfast buffet I've ever experienced. The hotel is worth the stay just for the breakfast!!
Great hotel experience in the center of Stavanger
We visited the hotel at the same time as this year's russ had a national meeting in Kongeparken. The receptionist therefore gives us a room that is sheltered and we have a great stay for 3 nights. We live on the top floor with a view over the city. On the top floor is also a gym and bar. The car is parked in St. Olav's car park, where you can also charge the car. The hotel is located in the middle of the city, but we do not experience any noise. The breakfast is great and we experience good service both at the reception, bar, breakfast and from the staff who cleaned the room. We can go here again.
Bad
I booked a room by phone. Was met with a much higher price on arrival. They changed the price and I was told to pay at checkout. At checkout I was charged the high price. I would have found other accommodation otherwise and feel cheated. On arrival there was a self-service check-in and we had to wait over 15 minutes before we could get help from an employee. There was rubbish in the room from a previous guest and the soap dispensers did not work. Will not return to this hotel.
Bad service
Was with 2 friends, got no warnings. When. We wanted to check out and upgrade the next day, we were told that as we had received complaints, there was no party or noise in our room. Didn't hear anyone else either. Was told when we would still be a nstt that we had received complaints to be downgraded…. So had to move to a worse room. I'd rather never come back😳😳 hsr didn't have music or anything. Bad!
Situated close to City centre
Hotel is "ok". Situated close to City centre. Rooms are modestly sized. Suites are worn and "tired" but the top floors have stunning panoramic view. Breakfast has potential to become super but for a while through several stays the warm food has been cold and "sloppy". No improvement despite messages every time. Staff at reception is accommodating and welcoming. I felt welcome and appreciated. Staff at breakfast mainly speaks English but seems to be effective and hard working. Coffee is served at table. However the "omelette" stand seems superfluous as they just make up several omelettes and leave them to cool off. If you want a warm one you have to "chase down staff" and convince them you want a "special one". Feels a little bothersome. Extra bed when in suite is the sofa. It is hard and uncomfortable All in all an average experience
Amazing hotel and staff !
Very friendly hotel and amazing staff! The Espire bar is a must visit location when visiting Stavanger! I have spent many days in many different hotels in and around Stavanger and it’s safe to say the Clarion hotel Stavanger is always my number one choice. Keep up the good work 🤩
Very good hotel
Great hotel in the city centre, the staff are helpful and welcoming. Good breakfast with a large selection. Clean and beautiful rooms. The bed was good to sleep in. We had a great view of the whole city centre. The staff at the reception are smiling and service minded.
Good standard and short distance to the centre
Only one night here, but a short walk from the train station and close to the city centre. Not a view to brag about, but mostly you just need a place to sleep. The price was cheaper with another booking app than the chain's own app, something special... The room was nice and tidy as you would expect, the bathtub in the bathroom was SMALL and some water runs on the floor when showering. Plus for iron/board in the room! Room had a kettle in the cupboard (for tea/coffee) Tip: do not have trolleys with towels/bedclothes standing in the hallway due to fire safety! The breakfast was very good with everything you would expect, empty of jam at 09:30 and was not replenished, but good with fruit etc. Great that the staff greet the guests with "good morning" 👍 Will probably come back here, about the price in the hotel app is better than other places to book hotels.
Good hotel better breakfast
Very central, clean and pleasant hotel. Very comfortable and elegant rooms with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast is of very varied quality and buffet style. The reception staff is very polite. I would return without hesitation.
A very good hotel
A very good hotel. The room was more than adequate, the location was convenient to both the bus and railroad stations and to the harbor area. The breakfast was scrumptious and included omelettes made to order. The restaurant (Social Club & Bistro) was very accomodating.m Would stay there again.
Amazing hotel and staff
Had an amazing stay, friendly and helpfull staff, amazing room (upgraded to suite) and we are defenatly coming back and doing this atleast once a year. And are going to recomend this hotel to friends and family

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

This app is horrible I bought a res it was listed as one day but the actual res on a different day. Have messaged support non stop no reply. There goes $200+ thanks appt trader! Such a scam

Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!

I have a big ongoing and it also shows someone is working on my bid. Today I see there is a " Buy Instantly " option at my portfolio showing same price I've bid for a reservation. I'm a bit confused, since my money has already been deducted from my credit card for the bid, do I need to pay one more time for the Buy Instantly? You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.

Anyone know how increase payout transfer to bank as I can only send $50 a day and they charge $5 for every transaction. There must be a way. I’ve contacted support two days ago and not a reply.
