I understand the stresses of post COVID FOOD SERVICE, but I cannot accept the poor quality of the risotto last night. We ordered it with salmon. The risotto, and I've had risotto hundreds of times--this seemed to be plain rice--absolutely no creamy slow cooked texture. It was to be with asparagus and salmon for $23. The salmon was barely detectable and the asparagus sliced 1/4" thick stems, no tops, and I counted 4 small pieces total. It was like undercooked rice soup. This rice was Plated on a flat plate (not a bowl)--shocked when my fork hit the bottom of the plate with no depth. I asked for cheese--I got 1-tablespoon then waiter ran off with it. Then I tried to complain but could not track down the waiter. We ate and left. We had theatre tickets. My husband and I are doing our best to support our local restaurants, but honestly, this misrepresentation of this dish was beyond anything I've seen at this price point. Restauranteurs have made so much money over the years. I've been coming to COCO P For many years. If owners and chefs really want to win customers back--emphasis on great food and taste, reasonable quantities and good service is the answer. We're not asking for anything unreasonable here.
