Coquette Boston Reviews from The Last Year

This is the perfect spot for a girls night out, date night, or to celebrate a special occasion. The decor is trendy and fun yet chic - it gets quite lively later in the evening. Service was impeccable and food came out fast and hot - although one of our meals came significantly later than the first (which was fine since we were sharing anyways). The borek spring rolls were delicious- crispy and spicy. Lamb meatballs were pretty good but nothing special. The pizzas were good- would recommend the spicy salami. Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu!

Excellent meal and experience at Coquette
Coquette was everything we could have wanted and more. When we first made the reservation, a bit later than we should (get your reservation early), they said they could seat us at a high-top in the bar and we felt lucky to get that. We ended up arriving about 1/2 hour early and asked if they could seat us or if they would prefer we wait at the bar. They took us right in and seated us in the dining section at a regular table. We were really happy with that as the bar area is very loud and we prefer the quieter setting. Generational thing, I assume. We ordered two appetizers which we intended to share and so we asked if they could bring one first and then the other. The waiter hesitated a moment and felt the need to check how this would affect timing for later seating which was perfectly reasonable. But no problem, they brought out the first appetizer, ice cold oysters with a basil drizzle. They were fantastic. The little basil reduction was a different twist and worked incredibly well with the oysters. Next came a Tuna Crudo, with lightly pickled cucumbers and grapefruit along with a few other ingredients. Again, this was simply excellent. After finishing off the tuna, we could have lapped up what remained on the dish. For the main course, we had crispy skin sea bream which they serve crispy skin side up. One of us is not so much into skin, crispy or otherwise, so I flipped the skin side down and greatly enjoyed the fish part. My husband ate the sea bream with skin up and there was nothing left when he was finished. Coquette was a wonderful find. It is located at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport and has easy parking. This is a definite not-to-be-missed restaurant. I look forward to going back
Beautiful and fun restaurant with delicious food as well.
I would recommend getting a bunch of things to try and share, everything is great. There was also a live violinist playing around the restaurant and it made dinner more fun!

Had an event nearby on a Monday night, and we decided to stop here for dinner. Immediately walking it there was such a fun and fancy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to me as I was waiting for my friend to show up. The decor is very French/Italian. Our server was very nice and answered my many questions about the menu. I wish there were more options on the menu. The food we selected was very hit or miss, in my opinion. However, we were trying things smi had before or different combinations of foods that I wouldn't have thought to put together
I was very excited to try Coquette, mostly because the vibe
I was very excited to try Coquette, mostly because the vibe seemed different from other places in Boston. The decor was stunning in this restaurant, which is located in the Omni Hotel, Seaport. The food, however, was not very pleasant. I visited Coquette with a group of 7, 8 including myself, and we ordered drinks and appetizers to start. The drinks, overall I would rate the ones we had 3/10. Each of us only had one drink and did not finish our drinks because they were not good. We ordered entrees once we figured out what we all wanted and waited about an hour for our food to arrive. Only one of our appetizers came before our entrees and the other 2 appetizers we ordered arrived while we tried to enjoy our entrees. All 8 of our entrees came to us lukewarm at best; none of our food came sizzling hot or hot at all. Along with the temperature issue of our food, most of the food was bland. For appetizers, we had raw oysters, steak tartare, and sicilian potato croquettes. Overall, not an enjoyable experience here at Coquette, which is quite disappointing. Also, not sure if the night we visited was just an off night, but it was super unpleasant that everyone employee at not only the restaurant, however, hotel workers seemed miserable and had an attitude. Very unwelcoming environment and slow service. In all honesty, I wanted to give a 1 star rating. I added an extra star only because our server was sweet and accommodating. Otherwise, I will never return here in the future.
Best Lamb Meatballs, EVER!!!!
I came here while attending a conference and staying at the Omni. Little did I know my life was going to be changed. I walked in to grab a pizza to-go. While waiting I thought I'd grab a small plate, since I hadn't eaten at the conference. While looking over the menu and sipping on a beverage I heard the couple next to me raving "OMG this sauce is amazing!". A few seconds later as the bartender was clearing the dish the lady said "This was fantastic, and I LOVE THIS SAUCE" as she was literally putting a finger into the plate being pulled away for a final taste. Since the course was finished before I could see what it was, I thought "well that wasn't very classy of you, Miss. Suited-Up Business Woman...". How ignorant I was... I magically ordered the same dish. Once it appeared, I knew. I knew what I had ordered. Now I will always wish I had ordered 3 more plates. I will wish I could relocate to Boston to guaranty continued access to this dish. I will always live a life knowing that I do not have that sauce and these meatballs close by. I now know what Ambrosia tastes like, and for the rest of my life I will live knowing that I may never taste perfection again. 10/10. The pizza was good too. Nice atmosphere, clean, and a good spot. Doesn't matter, I would travel across the world to a local village that took 2 days to hike to if it meant I could get another bite of those meatballs in that delicious nectar of a sauce...

Such a beautiful place! The food is amazing, pricy but worth it. NA drinks are good. Pizza is not worth the hype but everything else we ate was phenomenal. Service was excellent. We celebrated a friends birthday and they brought the cake we brought with candles and cut the cake for us.
Went with my husband for a celebratory date night.
There was a great vibe the second we walked in. We received a warm welcome from the host and were able to nab prime seats at the bar. The bartenders (actually very talented mixologists) were friendly and attentive. When asked what we were celebrating I responded with the truth...."life!". What was the response?......a huge smile, cheer, and very kind (very yummy) dish on the house. Drinks were delicious, food delicious, great decor and mood. This was supposed to be our first spot of making rounds to other bars for apps/tapas. Within 10 minutes decided to make it our only. Look forward to returning.

Good food and excellent wine list right in the Omni Hotel.
I arrived at night in Boston for a business meeting the next day and was staying at the Omni Hotel. I was alone and hungry and decided to try Coquette, which is right in the hotel. I opted for a casual choice of Tuscan salad and Capri-style pizza. They have other casual choices as well as more ambitious items on the menu like steaks, seafood and fish. Even though I was on my own, I could not resist ordering a bottle from the excellent wine list (they let me take what I didn't finish back to my room). The salad was fresh and tasty. The individual pizza was very good and the Rosso di Montalcino matched it nicely (there are many much more spectacular wines on the list but I was there by myself on a business trip; so, I controlled myself). The waitress was outstanding. For some reason, my pizza was delayed in the kitchen (I was in no rush) and she took it off the bill. Great surprise for a dinner alone while on a business trip.
Gem and near a conference center!
At the Omni? Yes, this is a 5 star bar and restaurant. The food, wine and cocktails are top notch. The servers are excellent. Will definitely be back. Hats off to the management team! Try the lobster Catalan.
Everything on the Menu was a Hit - Cocktails and Food
After a flight cancellation, we ended up at the OMNI very hungry and were quite thankful that Coquette was open late and serving dinner! The Life in Pink was a great cocktail. We also ordered oysters, Tahitian Tuna, Joues de Boeuf, Collassal Shrimp, Shrimp Tarte and Mussels. The Tahitian Tuna and Mussels were standouts but everything was delicious!
A waste of a night with good friends
This restaurant is a mess. The food is not that tasty. How can so many ingredients combine for so little flavor? I can handle the prices if the food was good. The menu is a mess of a combination of dishes and flavors that don’t fit together Finally, how can you let people with shorts and tee shirts and baseball hats on backwards eat at the bar? A real buzz kill for a fancy night out
Good Service. Good Food!
We had a group of 9 Our service was very good. Our waitress helped us choose the right entrees, sides & drinks. The food was delicious- all cooked perfectly. I would go back again if in Boston.
We loved it!
My husband and I ate here twice on our most recent trip to Boston. We had different hosts and waiters, chose different dishes each time, and had two fantastic experiences! Every dish is delicious. The portion sizes are perfect for sharing and allow you to try multiple offerings without feeling over stuffed. The wait staff did a great job meeting our needs and offering recommendations. The design of the restaurant is also just visually stunning. Thanks for such lovely evenings!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

When it says working on bid, it means there are people looking to fill it.
