Crazy Fish Miami Reviews from The Last Year
Flashy, different and great presentation of table and food… BUT do not go there for the food!!
The place has a very flashy decor and it is impressive when you walk in. Even when the decor it’s not in my taste , it is very unusual and appropriate for picture taking and celebrations The food is average in general. And the sushi was not good or fresh I eat sushi at least 4 times a month so I know what to expect The drinks are very unique. I only tried one and although the taste was nice the quantity was ridiculous for the price I had the Kumkuat and Shiso Velvety
Very original environment
A restaurant with a spectacular atmosphere and decoration!! The food was limited but it was very good! The staff is very correct and with original uniforms.
Incredible place, service wanting to kick you out
The place is incredible, the music excellent. Truly a quality staging. The only negative point is that they rush you to leave the Table. Everything is “in a rush”, as if it were a fast food restaurant. No I would return
The same old miami story - daft door policy policed randomly
Let's be clear - we had a great experience. Well run, good food, good staff, good live music. However, turning away a 13 year old girl for a pair of designer flip flops.... to then let the scruffiest hoody hoodlums, and kids can watch ipads at the tables etc. Rules are rules, but common sense needed - anyway we scuttled back to the hotel to change. While expensive - the food is good. best dishes the wagyu toast, ribs, mushrooms and ofcourse the fluffiest donuts on earth. Shame we felt like idiots on the pavement re a pair of flip flops - with no discretion or class in the randomly policed door policy
Review
Very pleasant atmosphere, wonderful food. Fair price for what they deliver. We were served by a Brazilian called Hyan, who was very friendly to us and helped us with our choices. Anyway, I highly recommend it.
Charged 80$ for nothing!
I was charged 80$ for nothing! I made a reservation for birthday of my wife for 2 persons. That day we were in the everglades and it got late - so I tried to cancel the reservation but I had no internet connection. So I tried to call the restaurant and let them know. I was told I still need to cancel online but I explained them that this is not possible because of the missing internet connection. At the end I could not believe when I saw that my credit card was charged 80$ for not having cancelled. Very bad customer experience and total rip off!
Ultra Miami Visit
If you an experience to remember then this the place. Very beautiful women hang out here and the food was outstanding. Definitely worth the visit.
All perfect
Located in Brickell Fantastic furnishings… just think of the mannequin in the dressing table! Super affordable menu for lunch with really reasonable prices for Miami! Excellent food and important wine list! Fun atmosphere In addition to this, the room manager was very kind in resolving a small misunderstanding!! I would say a MUST We will definitely be back Thanks and good job
Beware!
Ate here this past Saturday with a group of 13 girls. We paid about $500 each for dinner (pre fixe menu). 6 of the 13 girls became violently ill with horrific food poisoning early the next morning, which was especially horrific because we had to get on a plane to fly home that day, just a few hours later. I'll spare you the details. We contacted the restaurant immediately so they could do an investigation and remedy the situation. We were understandably very upset we spent close to $7,000 just to get horribly sick. The manager took three days to even respond to me and he finally did so only after threat of challenging the charge on my credit card. He refused to do anything, did not say any investigation into the kitchen was done, and said that since "no one else complained of food poisoning from Saturday" there was nothing they could do. He also insinuated that it was probably because we drank too much. Meanwhile, the girls who drank the least (I'm talking 1 or 2 drinks each) were the ones who got the most sick. Nice to know the 6 of us getting violently ill wasn't enough for him to feel like he should take action. Horrible, go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
Sexy Fish is one of those bucket list life experiences everyone should check off
I'm not really sure it's worth reviewing this place because no one would believe it's a real review. Experience, staff, decor, food - it's what we call in French a "sans faute" - meaning totally fault-less on every detailed aspect. I didn't think places like this existed anymore. So here's the deal: I got up to get some food from the Sushi station. Came back having forgotten soy sauce. Within seconds, our server comes to the table with soy sauce saying "Sir, I noticed you forgot to grab some and thought you'd like to have some with your Sushi" - Home run. This is first-class service at its best. The Sushi anecdote is just one of dozens of attention to small details these folks are trained to bring on. Probably one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had (even Michelin I can't think of the last one we went to that came close - in both service and food quality) - I've been around the block and I didn't know you could even cook fish like they do (in the US anyway). Class, distinction, care, detail - an absolutely mind-boggling experience. And I'm the hardest to please biggest pain in the a$$ customer any restauranteur can never wish for! Back in 2 months for another round (or two!).

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
