Crossroads Kitchen Los Angeles Reviews from The Last Year
I honestly can't believe people think this is good healthy
I honestly can't believe people think this is good healthy food. I guess because they think it's vegan and therefore it's good for you? This food is so processed and not good. Everything taste very similar. And so much is made from impossible burger. Google nutritional information of impossible burger if you don't know. This place is mid at best. Service is good. Design is fine. Just food. Not good.
Been here a few times and it NEVER disappoints.
I've done a couple brunches there. I want to try dinner next. Great atmosphere with a chef of all chefs. Great recommendation from a friend. Wish I'd known about this place sooner. Bravo!!!
Been coming here since it opened.
It started out incredible and maintained that status for years. I go weekly, mostly brunch and or dinner, always enjoyed it and had a great time exploring the menu and service was always decent. However I noticed in the last few months that it's gone slightly downhill, not bad but not great.. just a slight deterioration of the standard that was once held. Last night changed that for me. The food was bland, sauces watery, artichokes not cleaned properly and on top of that my server was weirdly passive aggressive and honestly just kind of rude the entire time. Our party are usually solid tippers having come from the service industry ourselves but last night was the first time I've ever tipped what would be considered bad, as a reflection of the dog shit service we had just received. The ironic thing is that it wasn't even busy last night, otherwise I'd chalk it up to being overwhelmed and I'd give it a pass, but no. It sucked, the server sucked and the food sucked. I consider this the death of crossroads quality. I won't be coming back.
Always amazing food and service! How do they make vegan
Always amazing food and service! How do they make vegan taste like the real thing? The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. Can't wait to return!

Have loved this restaurant for years - convinced a couple of my friends that vegan/plant-based food can be good by taking them here! Service is always good, cocktails are amazing and not above the expected price for the location.
Great vegan food!! I love eating here! And I love the fact
Great vegan food!! I love eating here! And I love the fact that they have a nut free menu for my son.
We absolutely loved this restaurant.
Upon arriving my boyfriend didn't realize it was vegan completely. And oh boy we loved every dish we got. Our server was so efficient and sweet. Also great for a date night. Low lights and great atmosphere. You must get the artichoke oysters. I have no idea what they put in that. But it's heaven.

Ordered a gluten free pizza for $30 and I kid you not the pizza was like 7" inches upon arrival. Barely any cheese or sauce. What a rip off. Calling this is a whole pizza is a joke.
If you are vegan, or plant forward this is a must try.
And even if you are neither, this is a must try as well, because this place has a way of making everything taste like it's just "regular" food. If you are in the Trendy Melrose area of Los Angeles YOU MUST GO! For starters, we ordered the cheese plate. I used to be a 'cheese addict.' This cheese plate with the camembert, bleu cheese and boursin tickled my palate..-amazing how textures and tastes comes very close to the real thing. It was served with bite sized pieces of fresh bread and dried grapes ( lives this!). Next, I ordered the chicken and waffles which I had not had since my days of Rosco's Chicken and Waffles in Pasadena. I must say that the chicken and waffles wasn't that special other than it was served with a good portion size of potatoes and veggies. I will pass on this one next round when I return. My hubby had the Mezze and his favorite were the mushrooms and I must agree. I enjoyed my meal with a Cranberry Mocktail Mohito. We were seated within minutes. Service was excellent and ambience was fantastic. It's good to know another vegan restaurant in my old stomping grounds!!!
Vegan, non-vegan? It doesn't matter - this place is great.
It's fancy vegan food that's good enough your non vegan friends won't complain. I recommend You have to get the fried squash blossom. Their absolute BEST item and maybe one of the best things I've ever eaten period. I'd pass on the pizzas personally, but the pastas are all hits. I recommend getting a few different items and sharing family style!
Food, service and the ambiance were great! I'm not a vegan
Food, service and the ambiance were great! I'm not a vegan but I like hanging with my friends who are so I feasted. The waitress was patient with the questions I had about the items on the menu. The food was also great!
This is is the second time my wife and I have eaten at
This is is the second time my wife and I have eaten at Crossroads Kitchen, gourmet vegan restaurant and bar and this visit was on Jan. 6, 2024. As in the past, every staff member was friendly and helpful, with an upbeat energy that matched the ambience and guests. It has a low light and cool, but homey and welcoming vibe. My wife is vegan and allergic to processed sugar and most typical sweeteners so it's a challenge to find a restaurant that can accommodate her at all, let alone have choices. Crossroads kitchen manages to meet both considerations splendidly. We came without a reservation so sat at the bar for a cocktail and appetizer while we waited. The bartender was very helpful and friendly answering our multitude of food questions to help us select our food and drink. First, the Midnight Manhattan cocktail knocked my socks off. I usually go for an Old Fashioned but this was a fantastic sounding New Year's special so I went with the recommendation. Frey Ranch Rye, Amaro, Amaro soaked cherry, edible glitter for sparkle, and maybe other ingredients I forgot. This was a spectacular, rye forward, slightly sweet, and very celebratory drink I recommended to everyone sitting within earshot. For food, we started with the Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms & Calamari Fritti (hearts of palm). Both appetizers were crispy, well seasoned, came with delicious dipping sauces, and totally craveable. Just after our starters arrived, our table was ready so we moved. Our table-side server was also friendly and informative. We ordered the Caesar with romaine and Tagliatelle Bolognese to share. The salad had a wonderfully rich and flavorful dressing. Would definitely order again. The Bolognese was yummy, packed with loads of mushrooms, but probably a one time order as it just didn't wow us. On our first visit we had a party of 4 and really enjoyed Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Fettuccini and Truffles, roasted vegetables, and some seasonal summer dishes. While this isn't an inexpensive spot, the attention to flavor, variety, and seasonality of the ingredients, makes it a standout for gourmet vegan fare in Los Angeles. We will certainly be back!

We are big fans of the Las Vegas location so we were very excited to dine at the LA location. Walking in the place was small but that's LA, the ambiance was classy yet so many patrons were very under dressed but that's my opinion Service was friendly but a little distant/cold though our order was mistaken the staff was quick to resolve this. In regards to the food, the plating was classy across the board Individually, we loved the wedge salad just as we remembered it from Vegas however we felt the lasagna needed more seasoning. The French onion soup was new to us so it was nice to have that, personally would have a nicer crouton texture and flavor. The lemon tart was overly tart, I don't know if someone mistakenly added too much lemon but we could not finish it we did however enjoy the banana pudding. Overall, we still hold the Las Vegas location to be the best vegan fine dining experience we have but this location was nice to visit
You wouldn't know most of the food served here is vegan.
The pasta dishes are fantastic. The calamari is great. Everything is well made and tastes great. The prices are a bit high but the quality makes up for it.
I had a quality dining experience with my family.
Food was great as was the customer service. Highly recommend!
I've been here twice a week for almost a year so I've tried
I've been here twice a week for almost a year so I've tried everything on the menu from brunch to dinner menu and everything is soooooo bomb I cannot decide on my favorite you won't be disappointed with any dish! Staff is super friendly all the cooks and managers are always taking great care of the customers. I love the ambiance is dark inside with dim lights! My favorite vegan restaurant!
Never misses.
Ever. Love this spot, vibey, food is bomb, always welcoming. This is an OG vegan spot in LA.
Loved every dish.
Our waiter had excellent suggestions for appetizers. The tart and the artichoke 'oysters' were amazing. Had a couple of great celebrity sightings too.
Lovely food.
Perfect atmosphere. They're amazing. I prefer this OG location over the Vegas spot as they have a bit more consistency across dishes/visits but either spot is worth visiting!
One of my favorite brunch places.
Every weekend I come up to LA I try and make time to come here and eat! Especially love the weekend brunch Khachapuri and their truffle fries. The bolognese is also great and service is amazing
I made my reservation based on the reviews, but didn't know
I made my reservation based on the reviews, but didn't know much about the restaurant, and it was such a treat! The restaurant itself is gorgeous, and a perfect place for a personal or business dinner. Really beautiful presentation and the service could not have been better. The host seated us immediately and within minutes our server was at the table to greet us and bring us menus. Super attentive all the way around. AND THEN there's the food... OMG, I cannot say enough about how good it was. I'm a vegetarian and can get a little depressed over the lack of choices available at most places, but the variety CK offered was amazing and super delicious. The best part is that the food is so good that even non vegetarians will love it. I can't wait to go back. My favorite vegan restaurant in Los Angeles.
Best Brunch in LA and it happend to be Plant Based! Try it out. Vegan Must do!
Amazing Vegan Restaurant. We were so lucky to have found it. The brunch was outstanding. I wish we lived in LA so we could eat here more often. I had the chicken and waffles and I thought the chicken tasted better than the chicken tenders I had eaten in the past. I was impressed. My husband had the pancakes that were also divine.
Very good
Had a gorgeous meal wanted to dine here 4 years ago when we last came to LA but didn’t have time food was amazing and gorgeous cocktails. Would definitely recommend will be trying there Vegas location in march.
The most amazing vegan restaurant on the planet
Since my husband is fully vegan (and I am mostly so) this restaurant has been on our Bucket List for a few years. When we knew we would be in LA for a week, visiting from NC, we looked forward to a nice dinner here. We expected it to be very good but it far exceeded our expectations - in fact, we were absolutely floored at how superb it was. We were swooning! We both ordered the Lasagna Bolognese - it was so divine that after the first bite we just stopped and looked at each other with an "OMG" expression. For desert, my husband had the cheese plate and I had the special (cannot remember the name but it was delish). But the main dish was really the star. When we left, we were both stuffed but by the time we drove back to our hotel, we decided we needed to eat here again - in fact, the next day! The next day we arrived around brunch time and ordered Tagliatelle Bolognese and a deep-dish pizza - again, sheer perfection. Now we are planning a trip to Las Vegas so we can eat at the Crossroads every day.
