A quiet incredible experience dining at this restaurant as the owner guides you through each course of the menu Setting a standard that other restaurants can only dream about 10/10
Fabulous experience
We had dinner here this evening and agree with all the reviews. Such a passion for the food from the husband and wife team who run this restaurant. The ginger jam with the cheeses and the cinnamon port wine reduction with the chestnut bread were spectacular. Highly recommend
Wonderful restaurant.
A wonderful meal and evening. Fantastic food and amazing quality of ingredients. We couldn’t have felt more welcomed by the owners. The husband (front of house) took time with each table explaining the menu and ingredients, the wife (the cook) creating fabulous flavours in the kitchen. Well done, your attention to detail needs to be applauded. Just wish we had time to return.
A Gem Worth Looking For
This is a charming small establishment with seating inside and out. We were there for lunch when they opened at noon. They are not open all days. We were told by friends that we would need a reservation but maybe only for the evening. it is owned by a couple. She cooks family recipes and her husband is the waiter/maitre d’ who expertly informs you about each dish on the menu, highlighting Portuguese flavors. We had starters and mains, and went inside to see the desserts displayed, unable to resist. Everything we ordered was delicious and made with love. We were encouraged to linger, savor the food and the time spent with friends on a lovely afternoon, away from the crowded tourist streets. You will not regret your effort to find this little gem.
A fabulous meal in Porto
We had a delightful meal. The host was fabulous, the time he took to explain the dishes and his passion was really heartwarming. His wife, (the chef) worked tirelessly and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes we had. I have to saw that the cinnamon port reduction was so delicious, I could eat it all day long!! We had such a lovely time, and would recommend this restaurant not only for the food, but also for the ambience and the quality of the hospitality.
Absolutely outstanding!
We went for dinner and it was truly wonderful food and service. A husband and wife run this restaurant. She is an excellent chef and he runs front of house. He explained the menu, and we were spoilt for choice, as it all sounded so good. The small sardines on toast as a starter were top notch as was the carrot bread. For main courses we opted for the tuna salad and the pork stew. Both we absolutely outstanding. Would highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant.
Fantastic food spot - local, friendly, delicious
We just arrived in our hotel and started walking. Found this small restaurant, and it was the BEST experience. Husband and wife are running it, intimate and cozy. The husband did an amazing job in explaining the menu. The food was so delicious we ended up ordering 4 dishes. It was an overall great experience: friendly people, delicious local food and fantastic service.
Fantastic tiny treasure
Stumbled upon this restaurant in the pouring rain on a Saturday night, having no idea the pedigree or anything other than that they had a table despite our lack of reservation, and got us out of the rain. Turned out to be the luckiest restaurant find we've ever had - delicious food and wine, and incredibly lovely service. Even ordering too much food our bill was less than we expected, and the remaining sausage we took away was even better the next morning. A truly wonderful find.

We arrived at around 11 AM so we weren't sure if they were still serving breakfat therefore I stepped into the place to ask about this when I received a big hand ✋ by the guy attending the tables accompanied with a "señor pare/espere" or something like that in a very rude and loud way. I immediately turned around and walked out of the place. We decided to go next door. It's very unfortunate to have someone that have ZERO customer service skills be the person representing the restaurant. Visitors/clients/human beings are not supposed to be treated that way. It was definitely very uncomfortable for everyone in there. Just because of this I would not recommend the place. There are way better options in Porto. You don't need this idiot story in your vacation. ✌️ LAS MALAS RESEÑAS NO MIENTEN. VEAN LOS COMENTARIOS. Este lugar parecía prometedor en las fotografías. Por lo que he investigado es un negocio familiar. Llegamos el Sept 20, 2023 a eso denlas 11 AM así que no estábamos seguros si todavía estaban sirviendo desayuno. Entonces entré al lugar para preguntar sobre esto y de repente recibí una gran mano ✋ por parte del individuo que atendía las mesas acompañado de un "señor pare/espere" o algo así de una manera muy neurótica, grosera y ruidosa. Inmediatamente me di la vuelta y salí del lugar. Decidimos ir al local del lado. Es muy desafortunado tener a alguien que tenga CERO habilidades de servicio al cliente para ser la persona que represente al restaurante. Se supone que los visitantes/clientes/seres humanos no deben ser tratados de esa manera. Definitivamente fue muy incómodo para todos los que estaban allí. Sólo por eso no recomendaría el lugar. Hay opciones mucho mejores en Oporto. No necesitas esta historia de un idiota en tus vacaciones. ✌️ Este lugar parecia promissor nas fotos. Pelo que pesquisei é uma empresa familiar. Chegamos por volta das 11h, então não tínhamos certeza se eles ainda estavam servindo café da manhã, então entrei no local para perguntar sobre isso quando recebi uma grande mão ✋ do cara que frequentava as mesas acompanhado de um "señor pare/espere" ou algo assim de uma forma muito rude e barulhenta. Eu imediatamente me virei e saí do lugar. Decidimos ir ao lado. É muito lamentável que alguém com ZERO habilidades de atendimento ao cliente seja a pessoa que representa o restaurante. Visitantes/clientes/seres humanos não devem ser tratados dessa forma. Foi definitivamente muito desconfortável para todos ali. Só por isso eu não recomendaria o lugar. 2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Dama Pé de Cabra Porto to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
