Great and fríendly service from Bartenders, maybe the best Tiramisu of my life. Highly recommend! Pricey but is well worth it
Expensive Italian
An upmarket Italian. A bit noisy. Dishes are reliable, service remains a bit slow. Kids are welcome. You will only have tables for a limited amount of time (typically 2 hrs), adding an unnecessary American toich.
Fave London Italian Spot
One of my most favorite spots in London - the food is always delicious and the service is great! It is definitely on the pricier side but vibe, food, and cozy decor make it a special spot!
Really Poor Service
My daughter and her friends came here for Sunday Lunch, but wish they hadn’t! The food was ok, but the service was really bad! The girls asked to be sat on a different table, and there were plenty of tables free, but the staff were very dismissive and refused to move them! Then they were made to wait for an hour, and it was only when my daughter raised this with one of the servers that their drink orders were finally taken! The server didn’t apologise and just pretended nothing had happened! The service just carried on like this, and to be honest it was quite disappointing to hear my daughter describe how poorly they were treated! The girls were polite and paid the service charge and did not complain! And I am proud of them! However, they are unlikely to come here again, and i certainly won’t be recommending this place again! Customers rarely complain, but they often walk with their feet and don’t come back!
Great Italian place in Chelsea.
Great Italian place in Chelsea. High-quality food and a great, extensive wine list for all tastes and pockets. The only negative comment is that waiters are a bit hectic as we were asked the same things by different people a couple of times (are we ready to order, etc).

Nothing special; an average restaurant. We came with friends, however we’ll never come again. Everything we ordered was average, nothing special.

Fine Dining near the Royal Albert Hall
I had bought tickets to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall for my husband’s 60th birthday, and some of our relatives clubbed together for a pre-show dinner voucher at Daphnes. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel welcome. The décor is tasteful in keeping with the area, and the staff were personable and attentive but not overbearing. Even the Maître d’ kept a watchful eye on proceedings and engaged in conversation with the patrons. The menu offered a variety of exquisite Italian dishes, all cooked to perfection, with presentation taken to another level. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the beetroot salad and chargrilled baby chicken. If ever we find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely make another reservation.
Glamourous Daphne's old school charm
Beautiful restaurant, with jolly good food (best crab linguini I've ever eaten props to the chef) but the service could be stepped up at a little. Let me be clear, the staff we smiley and friendly but mistakes happened that took the shine off dinning in a place like this. When you wanted help to order a cocktail the staff weren't sure what to suggest, the wrong drinks were then given to each of us so we started drinking them, then they came and told us we were drinking the wrong ones (which we had been given) and we just had to get on with it. New ones should have been made and replaced. I didn't want to drink out of the same glass as my friend but felt to uncomfortable to say anything. You weren't given a plate for bread at the beginning of the meal, which again is fine but the table should then be brushed off after we finished rather than being left covered in crumbs to eat the rest of your meal in. I could go on but none of it was the end of the world, as I say but stops this restaurant from getting 5 stars. The decor was fabulous, so pretty I felt like I was back in the thick of old school glamour. I would recommend but I really feel the service should be sharpened up.
A fall from grace. Really poor
I used to come to Daphnes for years with my family and friends but hadn’t been in a few years. What a fall from grace. Some of the worst food I genuinely have ever had in London. Shocking, and pretty poor service. To top it off, a £600 bill for 4 people. Never again.
Thursday dinner at the counter
We miss the old Daphne’s I come to London twice per year with my husband Lundvik, Daphne’s became a must for the last few years until now… We used come for the lovely ambience of bartenders such as Salvatore who sadly left, at that times we had fantastic times plus great interaction during last visits One of the reason we come to London is Daphne’s that’s how much it meant for us This time our visit felt worse than Nando’s ( only service wise ) I do apologise to say than We were not greeted at all, we had to ask for water, we had to ask to order our food not even mention to top up our wine or water, literally 0 service at all through the meal The staff felt like they were doing a favour being there… The bar staff had zero interes at all, we have even noticed other seats next to us they were not given proper service Other staff had plenty of time to consume bread in that little corner in front of the people The food was good as always however it did not make up for the atmosphere A big shock for us on this occasion, not the usual place known for Warm wishes Marit, Lundvik
Salt can be added, it cannot be taken away!
What was the pasta chef thinking? Salt can be added, it cannot be taken away and we had to tell them this twice when our linguine vongole came to the table so salty it was inedible. They did take it off the bill which was good but the shame was we were back at a favourite old haunt that seems to have lost the plot when it comes to the Italian basics. Salt is bad for us they say. So why put so much in it renders the dish inedible. Shame.

I believe that we might have found one of our new favourite restaurants here in London, perhaps the most family friendly place we’ve stepped foot in. Authentic Italian cuisine and amazing staff such as Matteo who will go above and beyond for you.
Check the bill
We know this restaurant well and as many do it has had its ups and downs. Today the food was ok but the shock came at the end of the meal. We had been sitting at the bar and when the bill arrived we were a little taken aback when the card machine was pushed forward with the bill. Having checked the bill carefully they had added an extra bottle of wine, which with service charge added a £100 to the cost. When this was pointed out there were no apologies and certain surly looks. BEWARE!
Lovely food, very nice people but no wheelchair accessible toilets
Daphne's is an institution, part of the Caprice 'stable' with food and service as good as Scott's or Sheekey's. If you are a wheelchair user, make sure that you don't drink too much as there are no accessible loos! The staff were clearly embarrassed by this but of course it's not their fault. It would be lovely to receive a reply to this review and even better to return in a few months time to see that it had been acted upon.
Very fine Italian in London
The conservatory has a lovely, cozy and romantic vibe. The food and service were just lovely! This was our first visit to London, and we had a 7:30 reservation. We had to wait a bit at the bar, and enjoyed that part of the experience as well. Beautifully made craft cocktails and friendly service. A great evening out! Kudos to the staff!
Very average
Beautiful venue and decor, very friendly wait staff (apart from front desk who came across intimidating) but the food was very bland and extremely overpriced. The wine was poor at £14 a glass I expected better. We just returned from Rome where we could get a litre of wine for €6 which was ten times better. I think it’s just the place to be seen. Wouldn’t go again.
Top Restaurant and Quality Food
Only just got round to writing my review but what a fantastic restaurant this is. The restaurant is a short walk from our home and we enjoyed a Sunday lunch with a bottle of wine at the end of summer. Great service and very high quality food. I would recommend the Chicken.

A really lovely place, great atmosphere and really friendly staff. We sat at the counter and had plenty of room, the food was gorgeous and plentiful. We can’t wait to go back and do it all again

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
