Perfect date, celebration dinner place.
Had the DelFrisco tasting menu which was perfect. Love that they actually give you some good choices for the starters, entrees , sides and dessert. Service was very good. We needed this dinner after a long hard week at work. We added the prime rib eye steak which is the best cut I think!! So flavorful and perfectly cooked medium. First class food, service and ambiance. Will come again when I save up again!! Haha. Sorry didn't take pic of the steaks

From the moment I walked into Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, I knew I was in for a treat. The stunning decor, the attentive service, and the delicious food all exceeded my expectations. I was blown away by the variety of steaks on the menu, each one cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, especially the truffle mac and cheese which was a real standout. But what really made my experience at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse so memorable was the service. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. He was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. The ambiance of the restaurant is also noteworthy. The dim lighting and the sophisticated decor made for a truly elegant dining experience. The noise level was low enough to have a conversation, but still lively enough to create a fun atmosphere.Overall, I highly recommend Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and sophisticated ambiance make this restaurant a real gem. It's definitely on the pricier side, but it's well worth the splurge for a special occasion or a fancy night out.

There was no communication between management, kitchen, hostess and servers. We received our bread roughly an hour into our service with the first excuse our waitress forgot which is completely understandable followed by a second excuse that the kitchen forgot to turn on the oven.My wife and I followed the stated/written dress code just to have a party of 4 sit next to us wearing sweat pants/gym attire. The one incident that will ensure that we never visit this location again unless the team there learn to communicate is receiving our entrees while we were still eating our appetizers. I could have easily just delayed our entrees but it would not surprise me that they would have just put our food under a heat lamp and the fact we ordered Japanese wagyu beef I begrudgingly accepted our entrees. My wife and I have been to similar end restaurants where you have a certain level of expectations for service/food and where management is involved in all aspects more so when things don't go well. It was very clear there was no management/leadership involved on this particular day we visited the restaurant.

Beautiful ambiance. Recommend the fried lobster app. Surf & Turf Trio dish was on point. Drinks were great as well.

Here's a brilliant idea let's make a reservation couple of weeks in advance since Valentines days is always busy and gets booked soon. Apparently, making a reservation couple of weeks in advance means nothing to this place. They put a $100 forced hold on the credit card through open table which by the way is non refundable. So, I get hear exactly at 7pm on valentines day which is my reservation and they tell me I have to wait 45 minutes because they are over booked and etc. I told them what is the point of my reservation then they replied with oh no one is getting up from their tables. From my understanding which I have been told before on event like this they always run things smoother and there is a limit for 2 hours or something. No offer to sit at the bar in the meantime nothing to accommodate the wait or etc. I have been going to this place for like what 3-4 years well let's just say that won't be happening anymore as my night was almost ruined. Also, as I was waiting about 45 min to be seated a Domino Pizza delivery guy came and was delivering food to the kitchen which make me question if they run rout of something and they ordered that to serve it to us or they staff was eating themselves and if that's the case they don't trust their own food?Mind blowing!
Be the first to ReplyI want to start off by saying that going out to eat on
I want to start off by saying that going out to eat on Valentine's Day at any restaurant is insane behavior...we were not thinking clearly but we went to have a great night/meal anyway! The food, as always, was delicious. Our server who's name we don't know (he didn't tell us and we didn't ask) did a good job too. We never felt ignored; he got our orders correct; he had good recommendations-acceptable service. My issue with the evening was with the hostess and the check in process. We made 7:00 reservations and arrived on time. Upon checking in at the hostess desk, they immediately let us know that it was going to be an hour wait because "people don't want to get up". We were....confused. There were already maybe 20 people waiting in the seating area who would need to be seated before us. We obviously didn't make back up reservations so we decided to wait. As we waited approximately 30 or so minutes, we saw loads of people coming in and the hostesses were giving that same excuse "people don't want to get up..." Now, I can understand that there may be some tables who are having a leisurely dinner but it can't possibly be every single table. It would have been nice for the hostess/restaurant to take accountability on what really happened-they overbooked! It is the responsibility of management to understand that nights such as February 14th will produce a significantly higher number of people dining in than on a typical Tuesday night. If there aren't enough tables available to accommodate those who made reservations, the onus should not be placed on the patrons if they choose to enjoy their time while dining. Irresponsible behavior from your hostess. All in all we had a good time and will never eat out on Valentine's Day again.

.. great service. We went upstairs to a nice booth.. service friendly and attentive. The food does not disappoint again. The medium rib eye was juicy and well done. The comp bread was piping hot ..buttery and little bit of salt. Cream of spinach was smooth and tasty. For a crowded night.. service worked hard and did well. Well done. Will be back.
Be the first to ReplyThe decor and views at this restaurant is vwry nice.
Service/waiter was incredible. Food overall was great. But I would have to sutracr two stars for the leftover steak that was served to me.Came here on 2/4 for a friends birthday. We all ordered the filet mignon. My friends steak was perfecy but what I got was the end cut of the filet mignon. The end where you would throw away. It was a partial steak with what looked like an aniimal took a big bite oiut of the other side of the steak. One side was cooked the other was burned. I saw that it was throw away piece as they brought it to the table but because it was a friends birthday, did not send it back. The time it would take to cook another steak would have ruined the mood for the evening. Would not go back because the kitchen decided the end piece of the filet should be served to the customer.

What we thought was going to be an overwhelming and unforgettable experience at a premier steakhouse ended up being a much deflated event especially since we were celebrating a birthday. Service was slow, a simple cauliflower entree dish was served cold and the ambiance was la Kloster except for the piano player. Food was good except for one dish (cauliflower). Filet Mignon was dry but spinach was very good. Disappointed especially since the prices were extremely elevated.

All delicious however I think the steak could use a little more flavor. Taste okay...mainly just pepper no other flavor. The bacon strip was delicious. I think that's one of their best food there.

The Fried Lobster tails, AMAZING!!!!! To be honest, our whole meal was ON POINT! From the mashed potatoes, to the creamed spinach, and can't forget the crab cakes! A nice vibe, definitely a restaurant to double back on.

I just have to say than Brandon and Anish (I hope I spelled that correctly) are the most amazing bartenders I've had in a very long time. They were so personable and had great recommendations. My friends and I had an amazing night. I will make sure to visit Sunday night again! Thank you!

I've been to this restaurant several times now and have enjoyed myself each time. This particular time, I came on a Friday night with a small group of friends. Food: The food was great! For our appetizers we had the Calamari and Crab Cakes. Both were delicious. For our entrees, my husband had the Dry-aged New York Strip and I had the Bone-in Rib Eye and we also added the Pan Seared Scallops for a surf-and-turf. Our friends had the Porterhouse and Chilean Sea Bass. We all cleaned our plates so I think I can safely say that everyone enjoyed what they ordered. For sides, we had Broccoli kale salad, mushrooms, and potatoes au gratin. Of these, I liked the broccoli kale the best. And lastly, for dessert we all shared the banana pudding which was wonderful as well. (In one of our past visits, we ordered the Butter Cake which our waiter contended was far better than the one that Mastro's offers. That ended up not being true and I'd actually steer clear of it!) We brought our own bottle of wine; there was a $50 corkage fee which seems pretty on par with other restaurants in this price bracket. Ambience: Nothing to complain about here. They had a live singer who was really great and added to the overall pleasantness of the experience. It's also great that this restaurant is located at the mall because there's lots to see and do either to work up an appetite or to walk off what you just ate!

Typically yes! We've been to the one in New York a few times and to the one in Century City a few times all before the "well the thing". All great times good is great and service was always friendly! Love the one in New York because everyone that goes there is always dressed up even if it's work attire! This last time we went to the one in Century City (it's the closets one to us) it sucked service was slow and short. I asked for my usual dish and even though it was a chefs special the first time I had it. I was always able to order it years later at any of the locations. They even liked that I knew what it was. This last time they were rude about it and didn't want to accommodate for it! Not sure if we would go back to that one again. Maybe just save that dinner for when there's one on a vacation area we're in.
Be the first to ReplyHad a great experience here.
Took my fiancé out for his Birthday and the staff made it a wonderful experience. I would have given it 5/5 stars, but the chef failed to shuck clean oysters twice, leaving shards of shattered shell in the meat, even after the server put in a make good to replace our first order. The manager and the server were super attentive and comped the oysters, which was much appreciated. Overall, we will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyI was at a Birthday Party in one of the private rooms.
The food and drink were great. Even better were the great guys who waited on us: Shawn and Shayne. They were very thoughtful and should receive Kudos for anticipating everyone at our table and their wishes. They made the experience really great!

Service was amazing! From the moment that we walked in we were absolutely amazed at the place. The environment and decorations are beautiful, and the food was some of the best that I've ever had. My boyfriend and I had made a reservation for my birthday and we had the Classic Caesar Salad, Prime Ribeye (one bone-in) both with Bordelaise. I had the Château Mashed Potatoes and he had the Potatoes Au Gratin. We also shared the Butter Cake for dessert. Our waiter also lit a candle on top for my birthday which was great. The portions are also pretty hefty so definitely worth the price.

Be the first to ReplyI came to this amazing restaurant not knowing anything
I came to this amazing restaurant not knowing anything about the service, drinks and food. They served the best lemon drop cocktail I ever had which was made by bartender Wyatt. The waiter was beyond helpful and knowledgeable with every item on the menu. Service was phenomenal and the food was like heaven for my tastebuds. The atmosphere was topped off by a live musician singing and playing the piano. What a beautiful voice. My Friday afterwork play was everything at Del Friscos! Thank you for an amazing meal with delicious cocktails!!!

We have been dining here for almost 2 years. Tonight, the food and service was exceptional and the VIPs hit the spot. Shane was pleasant, professional, and accommodating. We stopped dining when Maxim left but we now have a new favorite and we are back to stay. Great team members make a huge difference in the dining experience. Shane is the best hands down!
Be the first to ReplyHad a fantastic time doing DineLA here for dinner.
Ordered the lobster bisque soup as appetizer, 6 oz. Filet mignon with mashed potatoes and the Belgian chocolate mousse with salted caramel chocolate fudge for dessert. The steak portion didn't look like 6 oz. And was visibly a bit smaller than my friends steak. Also, it was a bit peppery which I didn't mind at all, but it may bother picky eaters. We also ordered lobster Mac n cheese on the side which wasn't as heavy as some other places and was cooked to perfection. I scarfed down everything on my plate! Also tried the butter cake with butter pecan ice cream which I loved! My friend didn't like it as much because there were some crispy parts on the cake but I actually liked it. I could easily do DineLA here every year, or even just come back for a regular meal. I totally recommend this spot.
Be the first to ReplyExtremely disappointed.
We've gone here in the past and did enjoy the food but it seems like they have some work to do on their dining room service and flow. We were seated for a dinner reservation away from much of the dining room which I felt was suspect in and of itself and waited +30 minutes with no server to greet us, not even any water provided. While I understand that dining rooms are also attempting to get back to normal for the prices we'd expect something better in terms of service. Only when we walked out saying we had been waiting a long time did the host say that they would come to help us.A little too late there unfortunately. Don't think I'll be coming back here again.

I've been here twice so far - most recently last Saturday, prior to that was apparently 2 years ago - and can attest to their quality & consistency of food & service! They *are* a steakhouse, and I think their philosophy seems to be to focus on the meat - no frills, pure meat, cooked perfectly to highlight the quality. Their steaks are great, but this love note is for their chilean sea bass with crab fried rice and black bean sauce. I specifically come here for, and dream about when I'm not here, their chilean sea bass. It is the absolute best I've ever had - the crispness on the top that's NOT breading, just a very hot pan and excellent cooking skills, the most PERFECTLY cooked, moist, tender, flaky, fresh piece of sea bass - I just can't even. The crab fried rice is perfect, I love the dots of black bean sauce - everything just pairs so well together. And having been here twice over two years, I can attest to the consistency in the food they push out - it was exactly as I remembered (I was honestly bracing myself to be disappointed because, two years!). We also got their crab cake as an appetizer - highly recommend that as well, there's like, almost no filling and almost all crab. Soooo good.We got dessert - the banana bread pudding was a delight! Soft soaked bread pudding with a crunchy layer on top, scoop of delicious vanilla bean ice cream and a caramel drizzle. Loved it as well. Also! wanted to give a shoutout to our somm (recommended a really lovely I think 2016 ROAR pinot noir that worked with both our sea bass and steak as we preferred reds) for being approachable and friendly, and our server for being attentive, friendly and on top of it - couldn't even tell it was his first day! :) I will say that the prices here are high - but, it's Century City Mall on top of being a high-end steakhouse and there being nationwide supply chain issues, so it is what it is.
Be the first to ReplyMy party of three dined at Del Frisco's Double Eagle,
My party of three dined at Del Frisco's Double Eagle, Century City on Saturday, March 19, 2022. I have dined here on many occasions since their opening 4+ years ago and have always enjoyed my dining and drink experience. However, In this review I want to focus on the bartender, Wyatt. He made our ordered libations. The drinks were impeccable. My spouse and I often dine at various steakhouses and restaurants and Wyatt's Lemon Drop Martinis and Blood Orange Spitz drinks were absolutely exceptional! Especially, compared to various other 4 and 5 star steakhouses and restaurants we often frequent. Bartenders just like chefs, amongst other aspects of the restaurant, are really the ones who's culinary and mixologist talents and skills, are what keeps the customers happy and when the customers are happy they continue to return. Thank you Wyatt for being one of the best!!Sincerely,Mrs Jones
