Food was fabulous.
Best steak I've ever had in a high end steak house. Service was excellent, not the place for a quiet conversation. But a great place to celebrate! Don m.

Be the first to ReplyWe chose this restaurant to celebrate our 32nd anniversary.
We were a little discouraged at first because they booked the larger portion of the restaurant for a private party so the romantic intimate seating we were hoping for not available. We started to leave but we made these reservations months in advance. Our server was very accommodating & so nice we stayed. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. Once the food started arriving we knew we were in the right place. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back the next time we are in town.

So pleasantly surprised by our dinner here! Big win was the filet mignon, medium rare. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. In comparison, the S.O.'s ribeye was a tad underwhelming. We had a tuna tartare appetizer and it was delicious though I think a more delicate chip would be better. We also ordered 2 sides - creamed corn and mashed potatoes. The corn was easily the winner - highly recommend. The portion sizes of the sides are easily enough for 3-4 people so we ended up with leftovers. The best part is the complimentary bread. It's so buttery and soft and delicious. We didn't have room for dessert which was a bummer because I'm pretty sure it'd be delicious too. Overall, a wonderful dinner option. A bit on the pricier side, but very satisfying. Also, we were dressed very casually as we'd just gotten off a 5-hour flight, but we still felt comfortable. There are some really nicely dressed folks, then us scrubbier-looking ones, but we did not feel awkward about it. Also, coincidentally, I had a work-related event here years ago. It was a morning event and we were in a space that can be closed off. Really great option for an event space too.

Probably the best steak in Orlando!! Great place for business or special occasion. I wish they had a second site in north Orlando.
Be the first to Reply4 stars only because it took us over 10 min to be greeted
4 stars only because it took us over 10 min to be greeted at the table & the whole seating process was kind of awkward (was given a huge table for 4 people). The food is delicious and the restaurant is stunning, however not sure if we'd go back considering Landry's has so many steakhouse options & we weren't super impressed with the service.
Be the first to ReplyThe ambiance is impeccable.
The food was ok. I really enjoyed the tuna and steak tartar.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and food was tasty and hot.
Wasn't a big fan of the Wagyu meatballs , but my date had the crab cake that was pretty good. We had the ribeye 16oz with whipped potatoes.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was great.
Really delicious. Fair warning, the steak has a lot of pepper on it. The starters, which are all shareable, were pretty amazing, except for maybe the truffle fries. Besides truffle butter, they weren't that special. I'd recommend the blue cheese wedge salad and twice baked potato. Any steak will be great. The bill for a group of 5, before tip came to $740. For the price, the service could have been way better. I would call it atrocious. I'm sure our waiter was having an off night but the food was all mixed up when arriving. Including wrong placements, wrong toppings, and sauces on steaks, which they charged us for, something that should have been comped or fixed. Plus, they were not very attentive. The table next to us even brought over the manager due to lack of service. Just really laughable prices for the mediocrity of service. Our bill was about $40 more than it should have been due to mistakes. Soda water was $5 by the way. Something else that doesn't make any sense: Irish coffee: $6.50. Single shot of espresso? $7. Make it make sense. I'd recommend trying a different steakhouse if you want a great experience with your great steak.
Be the first to ReplyFood was excellent.
The place has a great vibe. We were a group of 10. The wait staff was super. The only thing I did not appreciate is that they took long for everything. Our drinks. Re orders. Our appetisers and our entrees. But the food was really good. The sides are plenty to share with more than 2 people.
Be the first to ReplyHad a group of 25 of us that went for dinner.
We had a private room which made for a nice quiet evening. The servers were fantastic! Very attentive to our needs. The food was spot on! Steaks, Jonah Crab Claws, Shrimp Cocktail, Bacon, Meatballs, Mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, creamed spinach.... All of it was fantastic!
Be the first to ReplyIn town for business and brought 2 colleagues here.
It was their first time. Food - appetizers, we had fresh jumbo stone crab claws as it was in peak season, charred octopus, absolutely delicious. I had ribeye while my colleagues had filets. Tasty and on point. Service - place was packed but our service was good. Excellent service. Ambiance- very modern and clean decor. Perfect for business or special occasion meal. Highly recommend reservations.

When we first walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and the place had a dark but classy vibe. When led to our seats we found the booth to be odd and low. It was uncomfortable to get in and out especially in a dress. Moving on to the food. We started off with some delicious bread. I would have preferred a little butter to go with it but overall it was sweet. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari. This was my least favorite dish of the night. It was overly sweet and more like a salad than calamari. The waiter was kind enough to take it off our bill. For our mains my boyfriend ordered a steak that he loved. He said it was one of the best he has had. I ordered the salmon. It didn't meet my expectations. All the flavor was at the bottom and only on half of it. The beans that it came on were dry. I am someone who does not eat beef but was hoping to have a good alternative to steak. It was our anniversary and they did give us a dessert which was very sweet. At one point during dinner we had realized we had forgotten to mention my boyfriend's allergy to tree nuts. As soon as we realized we let the waiter know. We understand the importance of letting a restaurant know about an allergy and we had just made a mistake. I did not expect to get a long lecture from the waiter. All in all I would recommend del Frisco's if you like steak and want a fancy dinner.

I used to like this place a lot and had a negative experience. Decided to give it a chance in the hopes of a positive outcome and returned a little over a year later this past March 2023. Remains positive- Hostess they were very friendly, acknowledge it was my birthday and sat quickly. Quality of the food and bar ambience. Sitting at the bar has always been a pleasant experience. Negative- Poor to no customer service from our server Rachel. She never introduced herself, no welcome greet was given to our table since she rushed straight to ordering drinks for us, checked on us once throughout dinner, brought the check when we had not even asked for it yet. All while she kept a serious face to the point I thought it was personal but started to observe her engagement with other tables as I used to be a mystery shopper and she was no different. Needless to say I won't give Del Frisco's another chance anymore. On my previous experience I thought maybe the server was having a rough day but c'mon a different server and same quality of service for a upscale restaurant? Customer service is crucial for anyones experience and Rachel failed in basic hospitality 101.

The negative first, since there aren't many: we didn't have a reservation and were seated by the bar, which was a bit noisy. The service was fine but could have been a bit more attentive. The positive: We had the tasting menu and of course with any tasting some dishes will be better than others. The shrimp cocktail was very large and the thick cut bacon was very good. Both the filet and scallops were excellent. Personally I found the lobster and Ny Strip underwhelming. The cheesecake and butter cake were huge portions and delicious, a really great way to end the meal. The cheesecake was super smooth and decadent while the butter cake was scrumptious. They were both excellent. I enjoyed the VIP cocktail as well, it was sweet and fruity but also quite strong. Personally for the price this would be a rare treat but I am glad we gave it a try. If I decided to go back I would make a reservation and not sit by the bar. Otherwise it was quite a nice experience.

We came back tonight for a guest relations meal since the last experience wasn't good at all. They definitely did a complete 180. I made sure to change before going in since tank tops and ball caps aren't allowed. We came from Universal so we were underdressed. But they were still kind to us. We had a nice view next to large windows leading outside. We had James and Louise as our servers and they were phenomenal. Louise is exactly like me when it comes to customer service. She talks and builds rapport. She did so well that my partner decided to give Del Frisco, and the Landry's Family another chance. We let the manager know we would like her next time we went and he said he'd add it to our notes so we wouldn't even have to ask. My partner ordered the 12 oz filet with a side of truffle twice baked potatoes. I had the filet medallions with shrimp and crab cake. I gave my partner the scallop. We ordered both of our steaks grilled blue. We were pleasantly surprised this time around. Everything was very delectable. Down to the dessert of the in-house strawberry cheesecake and Strawberry Sorbet I received. I'm very pleased with the end results of tonight between the food and service. My partner is as well and he enjoyed Louise's service so much that he wants to come back again. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to have a better experience.

Possibly my new favorite steakhouse! This restaurant is huge and perfect for date night or a larger group! Drinks were great, presentation of the entree's was excellent and the dessert... oh my! I think that butter cake might be the best cake I've ever had. It was beyond what I ever expected. Everything was truly delicious and it was the perfect place to go for a celebration!!
Be the first to ReplyThe service was good.
food quality and flavor were extremely disappointing. For the $300+ spent, I expected so much more. I genuinely feel taken advantage of and can't recommend.
Be the first to ReplyHonestly would give zero stars if possible.
$230 meal and I watched multiple groups/families come after us. My girlfriend and I had to wait 1.5 hours for a mid grade steak made to rare. I felt like I was being spit in my face for a birthday meal. Don't bother with going unless you like to wait long periods. Won't ever return after that giant waste of time and money.
Be the first to ReplyBad service , poorly prepared food, overpriced junk.
We went there on Jan 28th spent 568.00 for 4 people. They brought me wrong dish. Gave me a salad to munch on for 20 minutes while others ate. When right steak came it was raw . I ordered medium. They took away and brought it back so well done couldn't eat it. They didn't remove it from the bill. I gave them a poor rating on their website. The manager called me 5 days later. Said I am sorry. Next time you are in Orlando come in and ask for Ric and he would make sure meal was done right. On the 30 th we ate at Charley's on same strip. Super service, super food, better portions and more reasonable. No comparison. This is not the Del Friscos of NYC. More like Longhorn.
Be the first to ReplyCame here to celebrate someone's birthday.
This was my first time and I was impressed. Nice laid back atmosphere and they do have a dress code even though I'm not sure how strictly they enforce it. Me and my girlfriend got the double eagle table testing. I highly recommend the waygu meatballs for an appetizer. We got the NY strip, jumbo shrimp, salmon & scallops. For desert we had the strawberry cheesecake, which we took to go. My favorite were the scallops, so good! Had a great overall experience and this will not be my last time coming.
Be the first to ReplyHad the privilege of attending a client appreciation
Had the privilege of attending a client appreciation gathering hosted by Nona Wealth Advisers in their upstairs space with open bar and wine. The event started with passed appetizers - cheesesteak egg roll, tuna tartare on wonton chip, bruschetta and crab cake. I really enjoyed the cheesesteak egg roll as they were bite size but had plenty of steak and flavor. They opened the hot food service - steak strips, sautéed mushrooms, macaroni & cheese and scalloped potatoes. I did not try the potatoes as they placed them under the broiler too long and the top was burnt. Plus, I thought it was a pasta dish the first time. The steak was perfect for my taste, rare to medium rare, and lightly seasoned. Plus there was the tower of U10 shrimp. Dessert options were chocolate mousse and caramel topped sugar cookie. I opted for the mousse, which was just the right amount of sweetness.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is pricey but amazing.
Food and Service quality was second to none. They had to roll us out of there when we finished. Our table was wonderful and the atmosphere there matched the service. We highly recommend this restaurant.
