Delilah West Hollywood Reviews
GREAT music and drinks.
Other than that...idk. And we came late, so I can't speak on the food. The guests are nice-looking, typical Hollywood snobby and probably secretly insecure...the usual. For a person who usually likes somewhat of a pretentious vibe, even this was too much. Way over the top. And to ensure no photos are taken, everyone is watched pretty intently. Would I return? Maybe--but there are so many other places worth a visit first.

The ambiance was immaculate, but the overall experience was tarnished by pretentious and rude staff, especially the hostess and the waitress. Despite having a reservation, we waited 15 minutes to be seated. As soon as we sat down, a waitress hurried over, claiming the table was reserved. When I explained that the hostess had seated us, she questioned who exactly had done so, then left without further comment. On a positive note, the table bussers were incredibly nice. Unfortunately, the drinks were mediocre and definitely not worth the $20 price tag. I would only recommend this place if you want to pretend to be cool.

5/5 Love the old Hollywood steak house vibe in this restaurant! Ceaser salad, chicken tenders, ribs, and burger were amazing!!
Let me start by saying the ambiance in this place is
Let me start by saying the ambiance in this place is unmatched very well put together. Lots of subtle art loves the attention to detail. When you enter they check you in and have you wait by the bar which is very annoying especially when the table we sat at was available. Made us wait about 10min and was just a complete waste of time especially for people that don't drink. I guess that's how they get you started to buy drinks and what not. The food to be 100000% the Cesar was a 10 the oysters they serve are baked usually not my preference but they was 100/10 so flavorful not many restaurants can get that done right. The steak they serve is a 1/10 absolutely hideous and very unappetizing. Never ate at Apple bees but looked like came from there. The salmon was so big and super orange no reddish color to it so you know the salmon is very low quality due to the salmon that was used didn't consume a lot of Astaxanthin you can find better salmon at Costco that salmon wasn't good for anything tried one bite and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but absolutely no bueno. Overall the place is nice and all appetizers are great but the rest it just waste of money. Give this place a 4/10 as far as food , our severs were great , but the long waiting by the bar pretty annoying. Overall score 5/10 Would I go back ? Won't go out my way to go back place is mid
I have to say, if you're looking for a date night out, this
I have to say, if you're looking for a date night out, this place is a definite recommend! Having fatal food allergies, they took it to heart and even let their general manger know! Such sweet staff, and INCREDIBLE food (I don't think I've ever tasted such great fries in my life), not to mention an absolutely gorgeous interior! I will most definitely be back, hungry for more!
One of the best times I've had in a long long time.
Delicious food, and beautifully presented. Wonderful cocktails with great bartenders. Beautiful ambience and decor. The friendliest staff I have ever encountered! Great music. I felt safe and welcomed.

I recently visited Delilah in Los Angeles for drinks after dinner, and unfortunately, the experience was less than stellar. The venue had a very snobby feel, and trying to get in without a reservation was a hassle. To make matters worse, the next day I noticed a number of credit card charges that were not mine, which left a very sour taste. On a brighter note, the Las Vegas location of Delilah is a completely different story. It's a lot more fun, with better entertainment and a wider variety of food and beverage options. The atmosphere in Las Vegas is much more inviting and enjoyable, making it a far superior choice if you're looking to experience Delilah at its best.

Came here for my birthday and absolutely loved it! Everything we had- chicken strips especially were probably some of the best we've ever had.

Unfortunately, very unfortunately, I was given a plate of mashed potatoes and lobster with PAPER :) I made reservations, 3 days in advanced for a Birthday/Father's Day Dinner were the special dish of the celebration was a whopping $140.... At a place / high end restaurant such as Delilah I believe and stand on the service, kitchen abilities, and reputation of an establishment. However, again very unfortunately I took one bite into my dinner meal ($40) and chewed on paper until I finally spit it out and saw what it was!!! It turned me off from the entire meal. I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING ELSE FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT, watched as my guests and company ate their dinner.
If you can get a reservation, take it! Amazing experience
If you can get a reservation, take it! Amazing experience from the ambiance to the food. Very pricey but well worth it
Came for the drinks which mixed well and delicious.
Food was tasteful and done right. Ambiance was going well until someone decided to have dj tryouts. Whoever was DJ'ing, please don't invite them back. Ever. Horrible transitions. Mismatching songs. Had to leave. Hopefully it was a one time thing.
Such a great, beautiful dreamy restaurant I have no idea
Such a great, beautiful dreamy restaurant I have no idea why there are some bad reviews, those must be super picky people Because this restaurant has great live music, low romantic lighting, fun lively atmosphere, super nice staff, good cocktails and best of all delicious food!
Great service, understanding hostess, the food is so
Great service, understanding hostess, the food is so delish, and the vibe is classy and elegant. Easy to make a reservation. Love it.
The vibe and food was amazing! Friends and I enjoyed it.
Wouldn't recommend the Mac and cheese or Brussel sprouts. Definitely recommend the steak, mash potatoes, fries, caviar, chicken sliders, chicken tenders, ribs and burger.
Gorgeous retro ambience if you are looking for an elegant,
Gorgeous retro ambience if you are looking for an elegant, throwback vibe. Oysters Rockefeller match the era. Chicken tenders are a pricey, but understandable hit. Carrot souffle is a star, more dessert than side, the caramelized cornflakes on top are decadent. Old school cocktails are a must. Live crooner adds to the mood nicely. Staff was helpful and sweet.

Went here on a date, it's so dark we both had readers on and a phone flashlight to read the menu, ordered a bottle of wine, waiter took the menus, the sommelier came out 20 or 30 minutes later, presented a bottle, we had an incredibly sub par dinner, didn't take more than a few bites of anything, but didn't say anything because we were having a nice night, only to discover when the bill came that the waiter had realized they didn't have the wine we ordered and subbed in another bottle that was over $900 more?!?! No one had ever said anything or told us what they were pouring was another bottle. Managements response was, "well you drank it, so you'll have to pay for it." Has anyone else ever had this happen here? I got the distinct impression this was a regular practice.

If you are looking for fun don't go to this place! This place is good for people who are older. They don't let you take pictures and they are so rude about it! The food is super expensive and terrible. I got sick from my salmon I ordered. Yuck, I believe I got salmonella or something. Nothing nice or good about this place. The ambiance is boring and inside is super dark! Don't waste your money going to this place nothing to like or miss at this place.
I understand they are going for a 1920s right, however this
I understand they are going for a 1920s right, however this place genuinely makes you feel like it was designed prior to the 1920s, popcorn ceilings, poor Lighting and unfriendly staff starting with the bouncer. We went here to celebrate a birthday, it's not that we weren't allowed to wear a sash, it's how it was told to my wife on her birthday. My father always said it's not what you say it's how you say it. The drinks do taste good but as someone else said it is 90% ice and you will finish it in three sips, I am never able to finish more than six drinks but I hear. I left not even feeling a slight buzz, I had a spicy margarita, which was average. The valet are also some are as they don't open the doors for your vehicle because they take payment before they get it and ask for a tip on their ahead of time, despite tipping them, which is customary, they pulled up my Rolls-Royce and did not open the door for my wife or my other guest. Overall, this place is a no go. If you're looking for something unique, this is not your place.
This is the place to be -- No photos please!! Never mind
This is the place to be -- No photos please!! Never mind the $25 (plus tip) cocktail at the bar, you're too cool for school being seen drinking it. This is the place to be. Drake says so!! Never mind that they sat us (myself and two ladies in scantily clad cocktail attire) right below the AC vent and we had to leave early because the ladies couldn't stand the freeze -- at least we looked cool being cold. This is the place to be. It's so dimly lit you can barely see the drop-tile ceiling, or is it a popcorn ceiling? The designer didn't think to cover or upgrade that? This is the place to be. Who's at that table over there, Carrot Top or Howie Mandel? It's too dark to see... In all seriousness, the ambiance is pretty cool, dimly lit, cool furniture and decor aside from the eye-sore of a ceiling. There are some pretty people about, men and women. There are obviously tourists around too, to be expected. It is expensive, I guess thats to be expected too but its at the level where it feels like a bit of a grift. They did seat us below a vent, and it was freezing, like super cold to the point where we needed coats, which wtf... We did leave early before ordering our main coarse. The servers apologized profusely but couldn't solve the problem or move us. Apparently cool sh*t happens on other nights, the night I went it was standard dinner with a jazz singer. The singer was phenomenal BUT the acoustics were horrible and she was completely drowned out by the din of the place. The SPICY TUNA TARTARE is tasty, that one they did do right. The other apps were forgettable. Again we never got to the main. There are a couple other spots in Weho I would choose over this place but maybe its the type of thing everyone has to do once to say they've been?
Had a 9pm reservation.
Waiting over 1.5 hours to be seated. The male hostess was more concerned with 2 patrons expressing their irritation with the long wait vs trying to accommodate us. Not once did he apologize. In fact, none of the hosts showed genuine empathy about our standing for nearly 2 hours. Will never come back.
Love Delilah
Spent my 50th birthday at Delilah and had a fantastic time. The staff is very personable and attentive. The music sets a great mood, and we love the clubsteraunt vibe. The food was good enough, but the LA experience made up for whatever it was lacking.
Beware! Unwritten Dress Code and Rude Security
Got turned away at the door by rude security because I was wearing shorts. There is no dress code or conditions of entry on the website so how is anyone expected to know this? I asked whether we could be allowed time to go and get pants and was told that we’re already “past the 15 min grace period” (by 4 minutes) but can ask the host to see if they’ll allow it. Go to Craig’s instead where you’ll be greeted with a smile and great food.
If I could give this place ZERO stars I would.
All the MEN in the front door are very SEXIST against women and refuse to let any women in while they are opening the curtain for men only. I even offered to pay to get in and they didn't accommodate me. Too bad for them because I was with some important people in the music industry and this place left a very bad taste in their mouth. Never will I come here again even tho I've spent thousands of dollars at this establishment before but never again.
Absolute joke of a place.
Valet needs organization - no actual designated area for car drop-off, no signs anywhere, people cutting in line with their cars causing traffic on the street. Also, $20.The restaurant lacks management, organization and customer service. 2 hosts/hostesses at the front of the restaurant, and 4 hosts/hostesses inside (plus what looked like to be a manager just going back and front, doing not much) - 7 people total to take care of your guests, yet everyone is on their phones or just starring at a tablet. No smiles, no greeting, very cold and unwelcoming. After waiting for over 30 minutes to get seated for a reservation, asking the hosts a few times if the table would be ready, and getting snarky responses back, we made the best decision and walked out of the restaurant. As an establishment that requires a credit card for reservations, has a strict policy about photo/video taking, and a dress code (that was not observed as they let in juvenile TikTokers with hoodies) I would expect to get the same respect that the restaurant is requesting from its customers. This review is purely about the lack of hospitality of the restaurant, severe lack of common sense and negligence of customer service. Many reviews below seem to indicate a similar situation and dissatisfaction with hosts/hostesses and overall hospitality. Cannot say anything about food/drinks since we didn't have any - let this be a sign that perhaps you shouldn't even dine at a place that demands certain rules from you, but doesn't show respect to you.Do yourselves a favor and walk over to Ysabel - much better service, friendly environment and good food.

I highly suggest you avoid this place like the plague! The staff is very unwelcoming; customer service is non existent. They will not honor your reservation so don't bother booking them. The blonde hostess with zero "people skills" made my friend and I wait 25 minutes then proceeded to seat us at a table that was vacant from the moment we had arrived. They were fully staffed considering there were four people huddled by the hostess, doing absolutely nothing. Very disappointing. Very disorganized. They are not worthy of your time or money (you can thank me later). I will never give them my business nor will I ever recommend their establishment. They are every bit deserving of their subpar ratings on Yelp.

I went to Delilah while visiting a friend in LA -- I was basically told it's a spot a lot of celebs frequent so I figured it would be worth giving a shot for a girls trip.If you're looking for a cutesy, chic atmosphere for drinks this place is pretty good. Unlike some other reviews, we had a good experience with the staff. Our server was nice and checked on us a lot and one of the managers made a point to stop by a few times. Drinks were good, nothing crazy but they were decently strong and not the worst price.Food was fine -- we mostly ordered appetizers so I can't really say much about the full menu but what we did have wasn't anything special and was plain. Personally, I would go for the drinks and vibes but skip the food.- Chicken Tenders (1/5)- Pigs In A Blanket (2/5)- Lobster Roll (3/5)- Fries (2/5)- Mac N' Cheese (2/5)- Siena Nueva (3.5/5)- The Jojo (3/5)

I normally don't go out of my way to write bad reviews but I had to this time. They made us wait 50 min to get seated. I eventually went up to the hostess and told her that if she didn't seat us within 5 min we would leave. Finally sat us. Food was terrible. Way too greasy, over priced and low quality.
Im to the point of tears.
I'm so frustrated with the service the staff and especially the valet. Natasha was the only thing hood that happened for my party this evening. After hearing great things about the atmosphere and food I thought it would be the perfect place to celebrate my best friends birthday. I planned the whole thing and everything that could go wrong did. The food came out cold and took forever. To be seated took forever. Staff was ignoring my party at times. Valet was the absolute worst. They parked my car in the middle of the driveway to exit despite me telling them I had to switch the gifts from my car to hers. Then they got frustrated about my vehicle being in the way so they moved it without asking me. Then the other valet put the brights on from another patrons vehicle right in my eyes and left them on purposely. It was the weirdest most passive aggressive thing ever. I'm literally so embarrassed and they ruined my friends evening. I would not recommend this place to large groups of people of color. My experience was horrendous and I will never be spending my money with them again.
Romantic, Old Hollywood, transportive are words that come
Romantic, Old Hollywood, transportive are words that come to mind when recalling our experience at Delilah. Reservations are highly recommended because this locale is in high demand and you may not get to have all the magic you seek if you don't have your "golden ticket". Many celebrities stop by this establishment but it's so intimate in setup that you somehow feel hidden among its moody speak-easy atmosphere. There was a melodic songbird enchanting us with a live band that set the tone. Dimmed chandeliers and feather-fans living statues walked around bringing an ethereal energy & Midnight in Paris vibes. Our attentive server Kelsey made our night that much more magical, along with the Sommelier and team. Every drink, dish and dessert was divine! I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for business or special occasions, it's sure to impress!

Two words: carrot soufflé that and a glass of bubbly are always on my order.I love Delilah for it's speak easy vibes while exuding elegance and moulin rogue ambiance. I've had bday dinner, date night, and even intimate business new here. Love the high end service. In a LBD and strappy Tom fords you'll feel right at home enjoying the cuisine and jazzy entertainment here.

Front desk ladies and manager are so rude!!!! First we call to make reservation they were very rude. Waiters we're running. Drinks are good. Food was OK not worth the money but place looks nice, but to loud. They even forgot bring one of our drinks and salad we ordered. Also if you go there you cannot take pictures! Photo police is standing lol. We were so annoyed that we left and found different restaurant that had better food, drinks and customer service! If you want to go somewhere and enjoy not be rushed do not go here.
Beautiful venue, attentive servers, great vibe, reasonable
Beautiful venue, attentive servers, great vibe, reasonable prices. I think that we all agreed that the food was... fine. The french fries a bit conventional, the baked oysters nice but not that special, both tartares were lovely, the tuna and the steak. The fish was a bit... mild. Kind of A+ in many ways, but with B food.
