A good evening
Stopped in for dinner on Easter. Taylor was a good waitress- very enthusiastic. The antipasti salad was tasty, but for the price I would have liked lettuce other than iceberg. Entrees were good.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Italian restaurant.
Great food and service. The portions were also generous. The bruschetta was great—- as was the special- eggplant parm with a generous portion of angel hair. The place was packed but the food came out quickly.

When we arrived, parking lot was full so we were expecting to wait for a table. It was a pleasant surprise to be seated immediately, and served quickly. Very good food, very pleasant server, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend Delmonico's!
Be the first to ReplyGreat promise, but didn't deliver.
First time visitor and was impressed with atmosphere and menu options. Appetizers and drinks were very good, and the table enjoyed them. As the driver, I only drank water, and my glass was empty most of the night and not refilled timely. My meal was sliced sirloin with a wine, mushroom sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. The potatoes were delicious, and the meat was decent, but absolutely smothered in what was more a gravy than a sauce. I could not believe how thick it was poured on my plate, nearly running off on multiple sides. I extracted enough meat from the soup to be full and the taste was decent, but definitely would not order again. Overall disappointed in a dinner i was excited to experience.

We had a great experience with a party of 15. The staff was easy to work with as I had to add guests to the reservation. Food was awesome and plentiful, drinks perfect and the price reasonable. We will be back. thanks
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and atmosphere, but slow service from the kitchen
First I want to say that the meal was outstanding. We were an adult family of 8. Our server was great tho I didn’t get her name. We had 5:30 reservations on a recent Friday night. We waited 1/2hr for a table and had to aggressively flag down a bartender while we were waiting at the bar for a table. The place was full and the bartenders seemed to be overworked. They need to have one designated to the servers and prob 2 for the bar. Once we reaches our table drink service and appetizers came relatively quickly. The. It was another 1/2hr for our entrees. Which were hot/warm and delicious. The salmon, steaks and shrimp scampi were wonderful, as well as our calamari app. We waited a bit more for our desserts which were also tasty. Then the manager came and asked us to please finish up as he’s had people waiting for 1/2hr for the table. Hmm I wonder why?

If you’re looking for ducal palace décor go somewhere else. The frescoes here are cartoons of Italian baseball heroes. But if you want good italian-American food (i. e. same as in Italy but doubled in size) come here. The Delmonico take on New England clam chowder is the best chowder we, two New Englanders, have ever had. It was so hearty that we had only room enough to split an excellent plate of ravioli. The service was prompt and friendly. A wholly super supper as we overnighted in Syracuse en route west.

We made a last minute reservation here to celebrate a 65th wedding anniversary. As usual the food and service was amazing! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and large portions!
Be the first to ReplyWe LOVED it!
We visited on Memorial Day at around 4:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. Our waitress was Sarah (long dark hair), and she was excellent. We got the garlic cheese bread appetizer, not knowing we got free bread. Both were good. Two of us got 9 oz filet mignon, and they were absolutely delicious. Even though not dry aged, the flavor was great, and they were cooked exactly as ordered. Two of us got a New York strip, and they were delicious also. The broccoli side was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Baked potatoes were great. The decor in the place was unique and interesting with all the caricatures. Well worth it. We loved it and would come back if in the area. Highly recommend this place!!! My mom is still talking about it a day later.

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and have never had a bad meal. We ent for Mother’s Day and had another great experience. Our waitress, Sara D., was a real pro. We started with Calamari, which was tender and tasty. The four of us shared an antipasto, where we had four small salads from the family-style platter. The house dressing was amazing. Three of us ordered steaks-2 NY Strips and one Filet. They were all cooked perfectly. My daughter had the Chicken Riggies and enjoyed them. They served a delicious and fresh Ciabatta bread with garlic butter- I could have just eaten that! We closed out by splitting two awesome desserts. The Blueberry Cheesecake was terrific, with huge blueberries on top. The big surprise was the Cappuccino Pie-a frozen dessert that was delicious. The bill with 4 cocktails and tip came to $306.
Be the first to ReplyUpscale Steakhouse, good food, and service large portions, but a bit pricey
Large family gathering and they were quite busy when we visited. Excellent atmosphere (Dean Martin room?), and one of the best servers I can remember (Renee) - great service with sense of humor. Unfortunately, our party had to be separated, with a few members seated at a booth nearby. Had the sliced steak which was phenomenal and wife had the lemon chicken. Also, have eaten at another location (twice),which was not as good. Excellent atmosphere.

We were visiting our daughter who is a college student in Syracuse and wanted to take her for a nice dinner. The city was packed for SU family weekend and a football game. We got a reservation at Delmonico's and we very pleased. OK, Syracuse is not New York. A nice 24-oz steak in Manhattan or Brooklyn costs $70-$90. A 24-oz steak at Delmonico's is $35 and nearly as good! Italian sausage, and East Utica greens were excellent too. Splurged on an Amarone also at a reasonable price. Delmonico's may not quite rival a great New York City steakhouse - but it comes close - and at a cost that can't be beat.

The restraunt was good. The parking was ok and at least they have their own parking area. This was our first time here and so we are only able to say that the food on this occasion was very good! We would go back to it again.

Fantastic service and phenomenal food. Just got into town on a family trip and we all loved the food. The Angel hair pasta delicious, the filet mignonette was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Decor was cool as well. Would return any time!
Be the first to ReplyA perfect dining choice!
Our group of nine family members and friends were extremely pleased with Delmonico's! Each of us ordered a different meal and all praised their selection. One of the group shared a dinner and it was served in two separate plates! The service was spot-on! Thank you Delmonico's for a perfect ending to a special day!

We were in Syracuse for one night, passing through, and called concerning reservations before 6 pm and were told we were welcome with blue jeans. Meal was delicious! I had house salad with homemade balsamic dressing and my husband had Gorgonzola Wedge Salad. We both had filet medallions marsala with mushrooms and angel hair pasta. Well prepared as requested. Enjoyable local meal leaving a positive impression of Syracuse NY.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Restaurant Close to Our Hotel
The Delmonico's Italian Steak was an excellent choice for dinner and happened to be close to our hotel. We were there on Thursday but the restaurant seamed crowded but the noise level was still very low. Service is excellent and very efficient. There is an extensive menu with reasonably priced entrees. Our selections were well prepared and very tasty.

Waited over 30 minutes for service. Once she was aware of us she was wonderful. Attentive, pleasant, helpful. Large portions. Everyone’s beef was over cooked. My chicken Sinatra was tough. The sautéed greens and mashed potato were exceptional. Great atmosphere! Decor was a hoot.
Be the first to ReplySolid meal
Visited Delmonico’s for dinner before going to the airport. Service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive to our time crunch due to having to catch a flight. The food was okay - I found my frutti de mare to be a bit too spicy for my taste. Overall, a solid place to have an Italian meal. And the decor with the celebrity caricatures was pretty cool.
Be the first to ReplyGood food.
The Veal Marsala was very good. The Caesar salad was good though a little heavy on the pepper. The bruschetta had great flavor though it was not cut in easy to eat pieces. The tiramisu was good - but the amount of whipped cream was excessive & unnecessary. I would go again.
