Popular restaurant with very friendly staff
This restaurant is an obviously popular addition to downtown Petaluma. It was full of patrons on a Saturday evening, and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. The High Point of our evening was the superb service of the staff โ โ very friendly and helpful. The food was less impressive, but good. We had fried chicken which cost approximately $35 for a platter with macaroni and collard greens. The fried chicken was cooked well, but somehow lacked a great deal of taste. The macaroni and collard greens were extremely tasty. The tables are fairly close together so you will hear conversations from neighboring patrons.

Easy Rider has a cool, cozy vibe and awesome food and service. My husband and I have been here three times for dinner and this place does not disappoint. The cocktails (Manhattan for him, gin gimlet for me) are exceptional, and the food is pure Southern comfort - fried chicken sandwich for me, Southern fried chicken dinner for him. The mac and cheese is mouthwatering, the chicken sooo tender and well seasoned. Our server, Marika, could not have been more engaging and professional. This place is a keeper.

I called 4 days ahead to make dinner reservations for a party of 10. The host was very helpful and told me it was going to be tight because they already had 3 other large parties booked. He moved a few things around and was able to make my reservation. Two days later I called to add 2 more people to my reservation and they were able to accommodate my request. Upon arrival we were greeted and immediately taken to our table. I was nervous because initially, the service was slow in getting our drink orders started. Once they took our drink and appetizer order everything and I mean everything, ran smoothly. From the timing of the drinks and appetizers to the timing of our dinner entrees. No one had to wait for their food! We never felt rushed and they even presented and served the birthday cake just in time. My friends had a great time! I would come back again! P.S. The food was very tasty, with a few us ordering the short ribs, fried chicken and jambalaya!

This restaurant space has gone through numerous transitions over the years. I think easy Rider is here to stay. Great menu, beautiful bar and friendly staff. There were four of us who sat at the bar and we shared a bunch of food. We had the hush puppies, brussels sprouts, pork belly biscuits and fries for an appetizer. Everything was delicious. I donโt even like brussels sprouts but they were really good. We finished with the heirloom tomato salad and the fried chicken. The only thing I would have changed was the gravy was not thick enough for me. The food, staff and drinks were very good. We will be back.

Great southern food choices. Beware though, the plates are huge for just one person. I ordered the fried chicken meal and couldn't even eat half of it, there was so much food.

Too notch professional staff that love what they do. Food is awesome, great beer and booze selection. Easy rider is clean and a fun chill environment. Again, the staff make this place what it is.

My wife, daughter and son in law visited this restaurant for my pre-bday dinner. My son had heard about it opening recently so we decided to give it a try. My daughter called to make reservations but they told her they didnโt take reservations. We showed up at 5 pm (opening time) and there were already three couples waiting to get in. We sat facing the windows on Washington, so we had a view of the street and the bar behind us. I had tan lines: tequila, cucumber, green chili, lime. My daughter had a glass of white wine and my son had a beer. We shared the hand cut kennebec truffle fries and the pork belly biscuits (double order) to share. Both of them were excellent. For the main course, I had cajun spiced catch of the day (red rice jambalaya, crayfish, asparagus and dill butter). My daughter had the Berkshire pork shop, my son had the southern fried chicken and my wife had the soup of the day. For dessert we shared panna cotta and the beignets. All of us agreed that the service, taste and atmosphere was superb. We are very happy to see a restaurant such as this opened in Petaluma.
