Disappointing
We were so excited to eat dinner here. The entire experience was so disappointing and lackluster. Starting from the beginning, we got there right when it opened at 5 because there were no openings. We figured we could just sit at the bar, but the host got us a table, which was awesome. We were there for just under 2 hours and the restaurant was still completely empty. Not really sure why open table couldn’t get us in. Our server was a nice gentleman and walked us through the menu. We chose a cocktail off their menu, and a minute later was told they didn’t have the ingredients ready. We just chose something else and it was very good. For appetizers we had the scallops and the duck risotto. Scallops were truly the best part of the meal. Duck risotto was not seasoned at all and needed salt badly. Then the main meal. I ordered the lobster agnolotti and my husband had the steak duo. I kid you not there were TWO tiny agnolotti on the plate. Not cooked properly and tasted terrible. There was a nice chunk of lobster, but it was all over bitter greens that ruined the dish. This should not have been called a pasta dish. My husbands steaks were cooked perfectly, but the potato “fondant” was awful. It tasted like a raw potato, zero seasoning. He actually sent it back and when it came back it was just as bad. The waiters attitude took a definite shift after that and we opted to skip dessert. We legit NEVER send things back, but those entrees were both about $60 and should have been perfection. This place was only good for the view. Pretentious, EXPENSIVE food with no flavor.
Beautiful view
With excellent view, it comes an excellent dinner! From the moment we walked in to the restaurant to the moment we left, the whole service was superb. The food was delicious and tasty. The cocktails were amazing, I highly recommend the espresso rub veal chops. Valet parking only and dress nice
Outstanding Dining Experience!
We had a very enjoyable dinner here with friends. The setting couldn’t have been better. We arrived around sunset and were treated to a beautiful view of the lake. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The dinner was outstanding from start to finish. All in all, a superb experience.

Lovely place where we went for cocktails. Nice atmosphere and excellent view over Lake Tahoe. Cocktails were delicious!
One of the best places we have ever dined.
Between the view and the delicious food, this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Our server was knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions. My husband had the elk and it was delicious. It was nice to get out of the business of South Tahoe and relax in a beautiful restaurant with wonderful ambiance and delightful food.
By far and away the worst food I've ever had
I really hestitate to write anything but good reviews but my god this is not only the worst food I've ever had but I paid and outlandish price for the privilege.

Great food, great service, great views of Lake Tahoe. Very interesting food selection and presentation. Not inexpensive, but it was the best restaurant experience on this trip. Wish we had booked a room here also!
Beautiful setting - Horrible overall experience
The setting is stunning... The food is mediocre at best... Portions are tiny... Prices are outrageous for the quality. We took our son and his wife out for his birthday I travel internationally, grew up in Paris and have spent more on food many times but when you spend $200/person you should expect high quality. This was average at best and portions were microscopic. The steak platter was nearly $100 and came with 2 "beef medallions" the size of meatballs... The service was OK. I think this restaurant suffers from self-importance. They have a semi captive clientele of people who stay at the Edgewood resort. People with a lot of money and not a particularly discerning taste in food? Being local I have tried all the restaurants around here. The Sage Room and Friday Station are high end restaurants at the casinos within a mile with much better food.
Beautiful location
The location is absolutely stunning! We booked dinner here for our 5 year anniversary after realizing South Lake Tahoe is not a foodie destination. Our server was one of the best we’ve ever had! He was attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind! We were even given complimentary champagne at the start for our anniversary (though I couldn’t drink it since I’m pregnant). The menu was a bit confusing because they’d named things in a way where you’d have to ask questions in order to know what it was. We go to a lot of Michelin restaurants around the world so we’re used to having to use Google to figure out what something is but they use personalized names here. Not a huge deal until we got the food. I’m only giving 4 stars because I got a meat dish that didn’t come with vegetables and neither did my husband’s. It was difficult to tell this from the menu because it said it included other things but it was barely anything. Again, we’re used to Michelin restaurants but this was totally different. My potatoes were frozen in the middle so I had to eat the outside and leave the rest. (I figured this was because our reservation was at their opening time) but this was unacceptable for the prices they charge. Our desserts were amazing! They were beautiful, creative, and yummy ! We’d definitely eat here again so no real complaints at all. Next time, we know to share a salad before the entrees.
Great food with a view
This was our 2nd trip to Edgewood and they did not disappoint. Nancy was our server and was amazing! Super animated and knowledgeable about the menu. This place is expensive, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for when it comes to the food and amazing views. HIGHLY recommend!

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ElaborateHouse74, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ElaborateHouse74 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ElaborateHouse74 for any questions Peter may have as ElaborateHouse74 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ElaborateHouse74 now uses their connections at Edge Restaurant & Lounge Stateline to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ElaborateHouse74 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ElaborateHouse74 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ElaborateHouse74's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Edge Restaurant & Lounge Stateline!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
