Dining at Eight Tables by George Chen is definitely one of the most memorable experience we had. We read about George Chen accolades from various magazines, notably the Luxury Magazine and decided to celebrate our 18 years anniversary. We flew from Los Angeles just for this special dinner and was well worth it. A 12 course dinner, inclusive of 2 specials for the night and picked the tea tasting menu as well. The food was simply divine and the service was above and beyond any fine dining restaurant can offer. Mr. & Mrs. Chen were so hospitable and the staff were friendly and unpretentious. The ambience was pleasantly cozy. They called this dining style Si Fang Cai or "Private Chateau Cuisine" and they lived up to it. Though it was difficult to choose the favorite course out of 12, we like to pick Jiu Gong Ge (Nine Essential Flavors of Chinese Cuisine) and Four Happiness Caviar Dumpling as the highlights of the evening as seen in the photos
