Splendid Experianca
Beautiful dining room. Well appointed. Happening place among a raw of dining establishments serving variety of nativity. Grilled lobster was excellent. My Rib eye was magnificent. Great wines poured to compliment. That was a warm service and a pleasure meal.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent in all aspects
We arrived early so we could have a drink at the bar first. Earl Grey martini was recommended and throughly enjoyed. My wife had a Mai Tai. Very friendly bar tender who visited for a few minutes despite being busy setting up. Hal. Great guy. Our table was ready in a good location. One terrific waitress served us. Of boy did she know her stuff! Both food and drink. Every thing she recommended was excellent. We had a couple of wine tasters and quickly chose a favourite. We had excellent steaks. We had the Waipu Japanese steaks. This place is known for its deserts but I only had a mocha ice cream My wife however had the crème Brûlée. All things considered it was worth the expense. It was expensive so if your Looking for a cheap quick night out try somewhere else. We had a very relaxing evening. Being g a Tuesday night they were full but did not hurry us out.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner for my son and his girlfriend at Elisa steakhouse down in Yaletown , very modern cozy upscale fine dinning ambiance , maybe a weeknight and the restaurant very quiet , menu is well plan , variety from Chops to Seafood and chickens , I like the choice of global steak selection , price very reasonable for steakhouse , my 20 oz Rib eye ( MR ) nicely done with the wood fired style grilling , very flavourful juicy and tender , prime of prime , that's how I enjoyed my steak , my son and his girlfriend share the Beef Willington ,looks delicious , good par with brussels and mushroom , top quality professional service , great place for any occasions , no problem I will coming back !
Be the first to ReplyWell deserved for its reputation and expensive menu pricing
Need to book like a few weeks in advance for weekends and holidays. Friendly host, smart server with butler style of service. Each dish was prepared with details and tasty superior comparing to other steak house. Only the onion rings were slightly overcooked, but the server cancelled it without charge and we replaced with Brussel Sprouts which tasted delicious and crispy fried. Would recommend for special occasion as menu prices are above average restaurants, but well deserved for what you paid.

Steaks were nice but not the best I’ve tasted .. rather over salted. The service was good but after an excellent evening at Araxi in whistler maybe not as great . They didn’t really accommodate my 4 year old granddaughter so she just eat bread .

Oh my! Just a night out with Dad and his three kids. My son had reserved this great restaurant as a "must" dining experience while I was in Vancouver for a conference. My 23 year old surprised us by flying in to crash what was originally going to be a dinner for three and she has reiterated several times since how memorable the experience was. Calling this a steak restaurant is like calling the Mona Lisa just a painting. The aroma alone makes one hungry when you first enter Elisa Steak and the wood fired aged meat covers too many ranges (cute pun) to cover here. The menu speaks for itself. What made our evening particularly special was our waitress Lina. She walked us through an extensive overview of not only the farms where their beef was raised but, important little nuggets of information about how various fat content produces different effects on the tongue. Who knew? I am an Alberta boy and any side of cow on the barbeque suits me fine but, this is on a whole different level! We opted for a shared plate of four of their favorite cuts; Double R Ranch 40 day dry aged, Black Angus Alberta, Snake River Farms Wagyu Striploin 'California Cut' and, Porterhouse Prime 32oz. With appetizers, cocktails, wine and desert, our young server almost needed to provide a cart to get us out the front door! For myself and my family, this wasn't simply a dinner in Yaletown, this was a life event. The next round at Elisa Steak is on me kids! Thanks for the great treat.
Be the first to ReplySave your money and go to Gotham
Terrible attitude, the food is okay but the attitudes of the servers ruins the experience for the price. We normally goto Gothams but thought we would give this place a chance. After a $2500 bill for dinner, which came with an attitude, I won't be coming back here anytime soon. Also if I'm going to be picky, the steak was over seasoned and too salty.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Food
Overall, this restaurant is very good. The sides must be ordered separately. Brussels sprouts were a bit burned. Truffle Mac n cheese was good and large enough to share with two people. Wagyu was absolutely delicious. Rib eye was excellent. Drinks were good. The Cheesecake was absolutely fantastic!
Be the first to ReplyGreat way to finish our holiday
We were recommended Elisa and was not disappointed. Carolina our host made the evening so enjoyable with great guidance on the menu and wine list. The steaks are amazing and the Hamachi starter was perfectly prepared. Wine list is formidable and has a great selection both local and international. Make this a a place to eat if you have time.
Be the first to ReplyBirthday Dinner
Elisa has become our favourite, go to restaurant, for special occasions! This visit we brought our friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We requested to be served by Braeden, after an incredible experience for my birthday dinner last November, and this meal was even better. We were blown away by how well he remembered details about us and our drink preferences. His recommendations for food choices were spot on. I forgot to ask his name, but the sommelier was also perfect in his wine recommendations for dinner. All around, this experience far exceeded all of our expectations!
Be the first to ReplyIs your chef always rude to people.
Wow ! I have nothing to say but the bed with the Greco accent the most entitled and bad attitude towards your merchants. Won’t be back. Check your attitude buddy.
Be the first to ReplyDescent Steak
Nice restaurant in the trendy Yale Town. Row of restaurants. Liked this place. My 6 oz wagyu was perfect if only it was a liitle hotter temperature wise. Carpaccio was excellent too. service was slow or else i would have enjoyed few more drinks. Thirsty
Be the first to ReplyTop notch
Four couples out to celebrate the festive season and this restaurant was perfect! Atmosphere, food, wine and cocktail selection along with Shawn, our attentive and informative server created a seamless and enjoyable evening. Use the valet service to park, save yourself the hassle. Would definitely go here again.
Be the first to ReplyMice in the restaurant
My friends and I were celebration that went so wrong. I have a phobia of mice and rats, and unfortunately to my demise a mouse was seen running by our table after we had our main course. This was such a disturbing experience for such a reputable restaurant. We brought these concerns forward to the waitress and she expressed this was "a normal" occurrence. I am shocked at the level of customer care, and no one attended to us and a male waitress walking by also said "you will be okay"!!!! I am stunned at the level of care.

Elisa never fails to impress. Last night we had a ‘second to none experience’. Eduardo, our server was over and above the call of duty. The food was fabulous…no one makes a roasted chicken like the chef at Elisa-NO ONE! The gnocchi ..divine! And… our friend celebrating his birthday enjoyed ..not only his main course delicious Lamb but was surprised with a generous portion of the feature steak, Everything was fantastic as always, and the reason we continue to dine at Elisa. Why didn’t Elisa get a Michelin star this round?
Be the first to ReplyVery good dinner
We went here for an early dinner to celebrate a special occasion. We had reservations for the outdoor patio and were immediately seated on arrival. After browsing the menu, we tried the following: - Tartare tasting trio - All three were very good. The serving portions were actually much larger than I expected. Although each tartare did taste slightly different, they weren’t that different. If I were to order again, I would just order one tartare. Kids didn’t eat the tartare but loved the side of chips. - Roast Sea Scallops - Very good. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Not sure the salsa paired well. - Alberta lamb rack - Good. Lamb from Alberta is not common, so we wanted to try it. It was good, but one piece did get a bit try. - Blue Dot 12oz sirloin - Good. - Fries - Good. I thought having it cooked 3 times would make them amazing, but the end result are good fries. Not great fries. - Mac & Cheese - Very good. Really high quality dish that even our kids enjoyed. - Carrots - Good but not noteworthy - Baked Alaska - Very good. No sideshow to set it on fire, but tasted better than most I’ve had Service is excellent. Main server was professional yet personable. There were 2 others helping serve dishes, fill drinks and clearing so there never any concern about not getting any attention. Overall a very nice visit . All the food was very good and service was excellent. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is that no one dish really stood out as being innovative or “best-ever” to make it stand out among other great restaurants. I would be happy to go back again.
Be the first to ReplySuperb Steakhouse in Downtown Vancouver
Well for a top end restaurant, this eatery is amazing. Very busy when we arrived - reservations are advised! Service was very attentive at all levels. Advice from the sommelier was sought and it was most useful. Menu is extensive. Appetizers for us consisted of a variety of tartare, including traditional beef as well as tuna. Also ordered a burrata that did not disappoint. As the intention is to have family style dinners, the steaks would be shared. We had two; cooked to perfection. The 40 day dry aged cut was a dream. Sides included Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. Desserts were also super tasty. For a special occasion, this place is hard to beat, if one is after steak!!

Fantastic food and vine, and great service!! The most tasty steak I’ve had in many years with delicious side dishes. Thank you 🙏🏻
Be the first to ReplyCouldn't get seated with a cap
The front desk wouldn't seat me with a baseball cap. I have alapecia and don't care to bare my head. But they said cap off or no seat. So I left and had a wonderful dinner at Cioppino up the road.

We arrived to have to wait for the table . They confused our reservation. Unfriendly bored waiter and over cooked steak.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Food & Incredible Staff Provided A Very Magical, Memorable Evening!
We heard great things about Elisa restaurant & decided to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary there. We arrived to a very beautiful restaurant & were immediately seated by the very friendly staff. They brought drinks right away. I had a beer & my wife had a glass of red wine. We were impessed with the romantic ambience & excellent service! We ordered the Scallops appetizer, the Beef Wellington For Two & Baked Alaska for dessert. Everything was delicious! Our dessert was beautifully plated with a "Happy 10th Anniversary" written on the plate in chocolate syrop. They also brought us 2 glasses of Champagne as a surprise! This was an amazing memorable experience & we recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a unique dining experience! We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyQuite superb!
My family and I spent a quite magical evening at this superb restaurant last Friday evening. Possibly the best steak I've ever had, in a wonderful atmosphere, which was complimented by the unexpected appearance of the victorious Vancouver Canucks for a celebratory meal at an adjoining table! Our waiter, Luca, was extremely efficient, pleasant and very helpful. A ten out of ten experience!

Wonderful restaurant with outstanding staff and food. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out!
Be the first to ReplyVery nice
Nice ambience and excellent service. We had a wonderful meal though one of us did have to send the fish back as it tasted off and then had the cauliflower instead. The steaks (plenty of cuts / location of source to choose from) were excellent, as well as the raw oysters, scallops, kale salad and desserts. Pay street or valet parking available.
