ETARU restaurant Hallandale Beach Reviews from The Last Year
Business dinner with a great water view
At the beach overlooking Hallandale Beach with a fusión type menu this is a great place to eat. We enjoyed the ambiance, the temperature was nice and the sunset time even better. Enjoyed the Aperol and meal will be back next time we have a business dinner.
A great dining experience in every way
Beautiful view from outdoor seating. Delicious food. Fantastic service. Really great for people with food allergies! A memorable meal that was worth the price.
Remember the address on the beach. This is Miami
First of all, a dream situation. A restaurant overlooking the beach and the ocean. We came for brunch and were pleasantly welcomed and delighted
Enjoyable visit
Came for a work event. Very kind staff. Nice food and lovely views. The event was a pre-selected cocktail event so didn’t order off the menu but the food was good. Great cocktails!
Recommend this
Very nice food even if it is somewhat pricy but worth it. Fancy restaurant on the waterfront! Cool ambiance and style. I can highly recommend it
great food, just mediocre service
I wish i can give this a 5 star as truly the food was great and drinks well were prepared. Unfortunately, this is solely to the fact that service was not up to part. I was here on a business dinner. We ordered the maki rolls, unfortunately, i'm not too keen on having avocado on my sushi rolls, so i asked my waitress to please substitute avocado for cucumber instead. I was told that no substitutions were allowed. At first, I thought she was joking. So I asked her again, well what if I was allergic to avocado, her reply was that i just needed to pick something else. I mentioned is not like the rolls are pre-made - surprisingly her reply was yes they are.....ummmm Anyway, i didn't want to make a big deal out of it as I was with my client. But absolutely ridiculous that a restaurant can not accommodate on requests like this, perhaps this was lack of training.....
Nice place BAD Service
Service very very bad We where waiting for a our waiter for like 15 minutes Than one of them open his mouth at me !!! Because I was saying what’s going on????! We left the place We come like every month this evening was bad not a service I expected!!! Sham
Not as great as before
Amazing location. Been here several years and excited to revisit. New menu is less than exciting and WHY every fish needs to taste sugary as a desert??? It's a main course. Messed up taste pallet. Far away from previous gourmand experience, I can no longer recommend.
If you’re ready to wait 45mn to an hour for your meal
We waited for 45 mn and then another 30 mn to get the plates of steamed rice they initially forgot. Nice place, but average food and service and… far too long to get served.
Fathers Day Fail
Channeling Anthony Bourdain again: Regrettably, this experience was as palatable as airline food. The magic that I had previously found in this establishment was seemingly swapped for a formula of missteps and baffling decisions. Upon arrival, our quartet was shuffled to an inadequate and unstable table. Despite the cavernous void of diners, moving to a more suitable table was akin to negotiating a trade agreement. Such blatant disregard for customer comfort is unfathomable. Then the pièce de résistance of the evening: a buffet. An overpriced, slow-to-start buffet. A fitting metaphor perhaps for the deterioration of this once cherished venue. Charging a premium for guests to serve themselves is an act of audacity, not innovation. Father's Day became a testament to how a restaurant can misinterpret its clientele. To relegate fathers to buffet herders felt like a misguided gag, rather than a thoughtful change. The venue seemed less focused on hospitality, more on ill-conceived experiments. This was no mere off-night, but a fundamental shift in ethos. Despite previous commendations, this visit left me questioning whether the soul of this place had been checked at the door.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome
to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
