Hotel restaurant Europejski Grill
I had dinner at the Raffles hotel restaurant. The beef tartare was excellent and was well seasoned. The accompanying puff pastry chips were a bit awkward. The lobster cream was excellent and I was surprised by the relatively large portion. As a main course, I tasted pearl barley, which was excellent, including the sauce. A restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. Only the staff could smile a little more at the guest. This is not the case for breakfast where everyone was very nice and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyOysters were great, but…
The Europejski Grill (and terrace) is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful restaurants in Warsaw. Super classy interior and spectacular views of the great square from the equally beautifully decorated terrace. Very sorry to report that the service nor the food had the quality of the surroundings - the oysters were great, but the rest of the food was not really on par with other restaurant in the same price range.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food!
I was very eager to try the food here. I was told it was amazing, fresh, and locally sourced ingredients. I had the seabream and an interesting take on apple pie. Everything was amazing; the food is one of the best things about the hotel! I would love to thank Chef Bart for the amazing food! And the lovely waitress, who was very friendly and welcoming! I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyLate lunch at the Grill on Saturday
I arrived at 3.30pm one Saturday to have a late lunch and I really appreciated their opening hours. They are only closed for Sunday dinner. I've been here several times and I like the food which is reasonably priced and they change the menu regularly.
I had tagliolini with porcini, cured yolk, ricotta salata and chives for 52 zl then brandade of cod for 52 zl both of which were delicious. They also provided warm butter and bread. I had a glass of Polish wine for 38 zl then another one for 52 zl.
The waiters are always friendly and efficient. Today I was served by Krzysztof. It was a nice lunch in a beautiful setting at a reasonable price and I will definitely go back again the next time I'm in Warsaw.
Highclass Dining
I celebrated my birthday together with 11 friends here.
The table was perfect for 12 people and beautifully arranged. The food was really tasty, the lobster soup and the tartare even excellent. The service was very attentive, calm and pleasant. The price-quality ratio is also very fair.
We were all completely satisfied and would recommend this place at any time.
Nice staff but very average food
We were staying at the Nobu hotel but came here for breakfast when visiting the Old Town. The staff were friendly but the service was pretty slow, coffees took 20 minutes to arrive, and not very attentive when offering drinks or taking orders. When the food arrived the scrambled eggs and French toast were ok but the eggs royale was not good at all - the salmon was extremely pungent yet tasted like lemon water, with none of the usual smoked salmon flavour - it was very pale and watery. Of all the meals we had in four days in Warsaw it was sadly our worst experience in what was otherwise a great weekend.

Excellent food and service was very professional, much better than in many places in Warsaw. Reasonable prices given the high quality of food.
Extensive wine list with some really interesting bottles. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Delicious food, reasonably priced and friendly service
During my last visit to Warsaw, I stayed across the road in the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria which has a very nice swimming pool and also a good restaurant where I had dinner three times.
I came to the grill in the Raffles hotel for lunch twice and was served once by Piotr and once by Marta who were both very friendly and provided excellent service.
I loved their Caesar's salad during my last visit but it wasn't on the menu anymore, however, they made it for me. I had linguini with truffles the first day and was adventurous enough to try their vittelotte potato ice cream with blackcurrant capers and coarse wheat brewers yeast biscuit which was nothing special.
The second day I had cold hazelnut cream which was delicious, smoked salmon then a poached peach with vanilla clotted cream and macadamia for dessert.
On nice days you can sit outside on the terrace and in the evening you can have some nice cocktails in the hotel's Long Bar.
Excellent food and excellent service from Marta
I was staying across the road in the Sofitel but their restaurant hadn't opened after the first Covid crisis so I went to the Europejski Grill for lunch and I was glad I did.
I was looked after by Marta who made me feel welcome and provided excellent service.
I had salmon lox for 65 zl and the sauce with it was delicious. I had a chicken Caesar's salad for 69 zl which came with lots of sauce which was also very good.
I had had dinner one night in the restaurant Epoka which is attached to the hotel and that was excellent too.
