😒 3/5 - While some of the pasta dishes are tasty, this restaurant

While some of the pasta dishes are tasty, this restaurant is extraordinarily overpriced. The pasta tasting menu left me stuffed but not satisfied, with small portions of pastas spaced confusingly far apart. While we paid for two tasting menus, it felt like we got one. The staff rushed us through the first few courses, bringing new plates to the table before we were finished with the ones we had. Most infuriating was the bill - the two tasting menus ($125 per person), in which most courses were single plates split between two people, and two glasses of wine, came out to $327 before tip. On top of the 6.5% SF mandate and the expectation of at least a 20% tip, the restaurant also adds a 1% charge for a charity. Our waiter explained that they donate 1% of each sale to this charity, which is flatly offensive, since it is actually the customer who is 'donating' 1%. All in all I would not recommend a night out here.
