Be the first to ReplyWe recently had dinner at Guilianas.
The food, cocktails and service was fabulous plus the entertainment. We had such a nice time that after dinner we stayed at the bar until closing. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyGreatest little Italian restaurant on Hylan Blvd.
Food- Fantastic, Service- Superb, Ambiance-Amazing...their pre-fixed menus are the best and the prices are absolutely wonderful. I just had my 2nd party there and Robert took care of the set-up over the phone while Chris and his people handled the rest on Sunday March 10th. What was supposed to be a small family dinner for the 4 of us for our daughter's 6th birthday, turned into a small party of 17...they even got us her cake which was delicious, super fresh & super cute. I highly recommend Giuliana's not only for a party but even a night out for dinner with the family if you're not in the mood to cook & clean up afterwards. Our 1st dinner party was August 1st after our wedding at city hall on Richmond Terrace, that was during the week and for 12 people. The price did not match the outstanding service and brilliant mouth watering taste of the food, we could not stop talking about & praising Giuliana's for days afterwards & could not wait to have another gathering there which we did to celebrate our daughters birthday. Ask for Robert...tell him the Calvano's (Michael & Stephen) sent you
Be the first to ReplyFirst time here and loved it.
Nick was our server could not have been more accommodating. From soup to nuts hands down my favorite in the neighborhood.
Be the first to ReplyStaff was great, but what a disappointment.
Pizzeria quality dishes, fine dining is out of their comfort zone. I ordered red snapper with grilled pineapple purée. The shrimp was fine and the bit of purée. The fish was red snapper? The texture was tilapia what a disappointment. The grilled octopus was in a bbq style sauce, even my wife chicken was grainy. Order pizza or pasta. The staff is great don't expect to much.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely adore this place.
Feels like a family in there, warm, classy. Dishes are fairly priced and delicious. Genuinely no complaints whatsoever.
Be the first to ReplyI'd love to know why would anyone, other than paid
I'd love to know why would anyone, other than paid "reviewers," would give this place anything above two or three. There's no location. No nice insider, no nice outside. It's next to a tire shop. There's no food. An average pizzeria has the same menu. There's no price. Actually, it's overpriced. . It would have been on par with a pizzeria. But it's more expensive. For example: an average chicken marsala. Nothing special. $30 here.

Incredible place with excellent food, great service, and a live vocal performer on weekends. Lots of locals coming in getting "the usual" or a kiss and a hug. We however were still made to feel welcome. Exquisitely prepared halibut special the night we were there. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyLet's start with the food, it was OK, not large portions
Let's start with the food, it was OK, not large portions (not surprise for a restaurant like this). Calamari, the best out of all the dishes. It wasn't chewy like most restaurants. For that in itself 2 stars. Ambience: it was crowded. Every body was put into tents, not much walking space at all. (Restaurants owner trying to get their moneys worth, with crowding up the place, too much.) just like overcrowding Staten Island. Last but not least was service: the waiter did not speak English to good, brought me the wrong glass of wine when I asked him he said "we're all out of that" but yet 2 minutes later, someone else ordered the same thing and receive the wine. I asked him, I thought you said it was out of stock? He said oh I found more. You would think he would tell me that he found more of that brand of wine, but no, must have slipped his mind. To top it off, we waited 32 minutes for our first plate of food. We're not talking mean cause we're just talking about the pasta. Seriously bread and pasta 32 minute wait? Who knows maybe the manager was off that day or something but it was very busy and we were dining at a private party occasion. There was two other private parties as well, and they receive their food way before we did. I was majorly disappointed because everyone told me how good this restaurant was. Maybe that said maybe, it was good, but it's not good anymore. Will not be coming back. 3 stars I was being generous, because of the calamari was good.

Be the first to ReplyIt's mind boggling this place has been around for as long
It's mind boggling this place has been around for as long as it has. There are pizzerias in the neighborhood that have a more extensive menu than this place. Not joking they have about 5 things in each section (bizarre). The "homemade" mutz they served in the caprese appetizer was all jokes aside, from stop and shop. The prosciutto was stale. This was the worst part for me; they fill your soda with nothing but ice so there is 3 sips of soda per glass, then they ask you if you want more and the bill comes and they charged you for every re-fill!!! Pathetic! Easiest way for me to never dine at your establishment again is to nickel and dime me on soda. The filet of sole was actually pretty good. My girlfriend got the orecchiette and hated it. Waiter asked if she wanted to bring it home and she replied no so I'm hoping he got the picture that it sucked. Gave 2 stars because the waiter and staff were nice people but this place won't ever see my business again.
Be the first to ReplyWe just had their prix fiixe dinner for 23.
95. It is available Tues thru Thursday 3 to 8pm. Food and service were excellent. i had mussels in red sauce for an appetizer and chicken marsala as an entree. My partner had eggplant rollatini and a veal with artichokes, which he loved. Both were delicious and plentiful. Topped off by cheesecake for dessert. It also included coffee.. First time year and we will be back. Can't Great value and even greater food and service. Thank you!

Ordered appetizer, entree and dessert from their pre-fixe menu. The food was excellent. Ambience even better. Definitely going back.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was delicious.
Great hospitality. Really enjoyed myself. I ordered Treasure Island.
Be the first to ReplySmall restaurant although bigger than it looks.
Great, great great food. That's All I have to say.
Be the first to ReplyService was accommodating and did what they were supposed
Service was accommodating and did what they were supposed to. Food was pretty average at best for the area it's in. You could get better Italian food in Staten Island. The marinara sauce was the star of the night, that was really good. Their parking lot situation is... interesting? I would try it out, but don't have the highest of expectations.

Impeccable and professional service in a warm cozy atmosphere. We were warmly greeted even though I had never been there before. Ford was delicious and tasty. Ample sized appetizers and entrees of chicken parmigiana, filet of sole and pork chop.

Giuliana's was the perfect place to host a Baptism luncheon for our granddaughter!! The food, as always, was delicious and the service was top notch! My wife and I tried this place for lunch on a whim, and boy am I glad we did. Upon entering we were greeting with a warm, cozy, inviting atmosphere. The hostess that greeted us was friendly, accommodating, a very nice. The wait staff was equally as welcoming and they were very attentive to us. We tried the prix-fixe lunch menu, which I definitely recommend. For my appetizer, I tried the mozzarella with tomatoes and olives. My wife tried the stuffed mushrooms. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and prepared and cooked to perfection. I normally don't like mushrooms at all, but I loved those mushrooms. For my main course, I had the tilapia oreganata. It was served with potatoes and vegetables in a white wine and lemon sauce. Absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. It was tender and flaky, but not mushy, and tasted fresh like it was caught that day. The vegetables were lightly grilled and the potatoes melted in my mouth. For dessert, we were provided with tiramisu and coffee which presented a delicious finish to a great lunch. The tiramisu was rich, creamy, and bore the taste of a delicious espresso to round out the sweetness. I would recommend Giuliana's to anyone looking for a great Italian lunch or dinner, and I will definitely be back many times.

Excellent food, fast attentive service! Crisp, hot and fresh calamari, pasta done perfectly, steak expertly trimmed so there's no surprise chunks of fat. A jewel of Staten Island!

Be the first to ReplyA disappointing experience.
We saw it was highly rated, so we gave it a try. The ambience is pleasing as an eccentric Italian-American family establishment. Our waiter was pleasant, but I found it strange they didn't recite the specials or include in the menu. Instead, they placed this massive board (like those you see on the street) in front of our table and had us read it. Now for the most important part - the food - it was not good and it was brought out 45 min after the appetizer. Bread was drowned in oil, butter and grated cheese. Why? Arugula & Goat Cheese salad was drenched in a lemon vinaigrette dressing; a complete disservice to two already distinct flavors. Marinara sauce was too tangy. Chicken Frangelico - sauce was good but it was basically an overly deep-fried chicken cutlet. For dessert, the chocolate ganache cheesecake was completely dry and a joke at $12 a slice. This is simply not classic Italian cuisine. The overall meal was relatively expensive and not at all worth it.
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed.
Been to Giuliana's quite a few times . My last experience was very disappointing. The mozzarella was like rubber. Tasted like it was frozen then defrosted. The menu is very limited , with no specials. We will go again
Be the first to ReplyBased on overwhelming good reviews and knowing Giulainna's
Based on overwhelming good reviews and knowing Giulainna's offers a pre fix lunch menu, I decided to try this restaurant for a friend's lunch and meet-up. I am so glad I did, since the service, food and venue all added to a wonderful outing.Robert our waiter could not have been more attentive. Friendly, efficient, yet giving us all the the time we wanted to relax and chat. The pre fix lunch was well worth the $15.95. A plate of warm mouth-watering bread covered with cheese began the meal followed by an appetizer, entree, coffee (or tea) and tiramisu. Every thing we ordered was delicious. We all were pleased and definitely agreed to return to Giuliana's in the not too distant future.
