I wanted to celebrate my Birthday here.
We made reservations for 7:00, but we asked could we be seated early since we got there early to walk around the Casino to see what was in there since it was our first time there, it wasn't much to see in the Casino. So they were able to seat us early. The Restaurant had a nice warm cozy feel. Our Server Miles was Friendly and explained the Menu and Special since it was our first time there. We ordered a number of items ( see pics). We were surprised at how small the portion sizes were. The MD Crab Soup hardly had anything in it, mainly Corn, Tomatoes and only 3 Lumps of Crabmeat. It was tasty but I was disappointed, I was expecting more especially for the price of $15. I got the Kansas City Strip Steak and the Hubby got the Ribeye, we both ordered the Medium, but after taking a couple of bites we saw that they were Rare. We informed our Server Miles and he saw them and agreed that they were Rare. He asked did we want to send them back so they can Bump up the heat on them? We said no we will just recook them at Home. We were surprised that he didn't offer to bring us out a new Steak, especially for the Price we paid for both Steaks which was $80 a piece. You would think that for that price they would be cooked perfectly, they did taste delicious. The Manager did come over and offered his apologies and did not charge me for my Dessert which was the Sticky Pudding. Everything else was good. I had a nice time, but was expecting more. All the Staff was nice.
Be the first to ReplyAnother amazing meal at Gordon Ramsey Steak.
The food was perfectly prepared. The signature beef wellington is every bit as good as the hype. Our server was helpful in selecting wine and sides. I plan to celebrate many more birthdays here. My compliments to the chefs and to management.

This was my first time dining at a Ramsay restaurant, my dad was in the hospital at UMMC some family members wanted to grab some dinner on a Fri evening at the casino and we decided on Ramsays and made reservations online. When we arrived it wasn't very busy we really didn't need reservations, we approached the host stand and mentioned our reservation walking to our seats we passed the bar area it was a little dark could have used a little bit more lighting especially at the bar. Our server approached and asked if we have eaten there before after hearing we hadn't he explained the menu to us. My aunt and I order alcohol she had red wine and I had an old fashioned, when the server came back with our drinks I was completely shocked when he put my drink down. I specifically said NO water I understand that a REAL Old Fashion is just a shot of alcohol that the cup will not be full, when he put the drink down it was full of crushed ice and the bourbon was to the top of the glass. We aren't at a dive bar the prices on the menu are not cheap and my old fashion is ruined, this restaurant should have large ice cube for bourbon drinks. I tasted it and said I asked for no water this drink is half full of water and asked for a large ice cube. If the bar tender doesn't know how to make drinks they need a new one, he returned with my drink alls they did was strain out the ice and put a cube of ice in the cup. Why wasn't the cube used the first time?? And the bourbon was still watered down, wasted that drink. My mom and I had the Beef Wellington and my aunt and cousin had the sea bass and we shared the cream spinach. Both steaks were very good maybe just a little more of the mashed potatoes and the Demi sauce would have been nice. Both sea bass meals were excellent I tastes a bite from my cousin and it was outstanding cooked perfectly, the fish came with parsnips and quinoa could have used a little more parsnips. Over all very good food my old fashion was ruined that and the lack of potatoes and parsnips is the reason for 4 stars .

It's my second time dining here after a few years and quality doesn't seem to be as good. For a restaurant like this I would expect perfection, if not, almost, and what we got was a lot less of a perfection. But maybe thats on our high expectations as we love Gordon Ramsay's shows. We liked most of the food, my husband loved the beef wellington it was delicious, the mac and cheese was one of the best we got. I got the 16oz NY Strip and for the most part it was cooked and seared great but a good portion, maybe 1/4 of it was really burnt on the sear, (can maybe see it on the photo uploaded, which really turned me off of it after having a bite full of bitter burnt piece of strip. I had let our server know about it but all they said was they'll let the kitchen know so I lost about 1/4 of my steak, but paid full price. Service was alright, our server was nice and informative about the menu and food. It was however hard to get their attention at times. And forgot to put in one of our desserts, but understandable that he may have misheard that the items we wanted. Ambiance is nice. It felt like the tables were spaced out enough to have a nice private dinner.
Be the first to ReplyThis was our third time visiting Gordon Ramsay Steak in
This was our third time visiting Gordon Ramsay Steak in Baltimore Maryland, and we were beyond disappointed during this last visit on December 16, 2023. We were initially so impressed with the experience (the food was exceptional, the service was top notch, and you made each guest feel like royalty) that we started making this a holiday tradition with family and our go to place for special occasions. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. I was hesitant to write this review but more than a month later, I'm still upset about the experience and quite honestly as the host, terribly embarrassed. From the moment we arrived the following fell short of what we've come to know and expect from previous dining experiences at Gordon Ramsay Steak: On our first two visits, the server recognized that we were there to celebrate a special occasion and brought out complimentary glasses of champagne which did not happen. We had to ask for bread and there was only enough for each person to have one piece. Most of us were looking forward to the Lobster Risotto. We've had it in the past and couldn't wait to have it again! Despite checking the menu online where it was listed as an offering, that was not the case. We were told it's no longer being offered - not sure why as it's incredible. Unfortunately, removing this appetizer was just the start of a progressive downward spiral. I had the butternut squash risotto, it was good, but pales in comparison - it's not even a close second. Two of our guests ordered the New York Strip medium rare. It wasn't butchered properly, they were over cooked and inconsistent. Both of our guests have ordered this same entrรฉe on a previous occasion and noticed a marked reduction in quality. Now, for the beef wellington, another family favorite, suffice it to say, it was not good. It was lukewarm at best, and the puff pastry was soggy, falling apart and unappetizing. It didn't look good and tasted average. This isn't Outback Steakhouse - it's Gordon Ramsay Steak (operative word is steak). When it came time for dessert, half of us didn't even want anything because of the quality of the food and lackluster service. When the guest of honor said he didn't want anything they opted to bring out quarter full glasses of champagne for the table and presented him with a candle stuck to a Gordon Ramsay card on a plate. This about sent me over the edge. In the past, one of your world-famous desserts (the sticky toffee pudding) would have been automatically presented to the guest of honor. Full glasses of champagne were always offered as the server recognized the special occasion when seated - getting them at dessert felt like an after thought and a complete failure. You don't have champagne at the end of the meal, it's a way to kick off what should be an amazing culinary experience. This experience was so off-putting to us that we are giving serious thought to changing our "family tradition" moving forward. We've become so accustomed to and grateful for the quality of a Gordon Ramsay restaurant which is why we are so upset. I think he would be embarrassed to have his name associated with what was far less than a stellar dining experience.

Drove over an hour to try this restaurant and the experience was great. We were seated promptly and the hostess gave details of the restaurant layout by showcasing the aged steaks display and the wine room. Tanisha was our server and we plan on checking if she's working before our future visits. She added on to the hostess's introduction by giving a "tour" of the menu and explained how Gordon Ramsay played a part in developing the menu. We ordered a prime filet and a wagyu filet. Both were very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. For drinks we ordered the Scots Donkey and the El Matador, both were very tasty. Tanisha went above and beyond to curate an off the menu spicy margarita for me. For dessert we enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. As a fan of Master Chef, this is what I was most excited for and it did not disappoint. Tanisha is definitely a major factor that made us decide to frequent the restaurant in the future. Her service was immaculate and she honestly went above expectations.
Be the first to ReplyWe have been here several times and will continue to return.
Our server was great - attentive without being overly solicitous. The manager was also engaging. All of the food was great. The crab cake was tasty. The market salad was perhaps a little over-dressed. The steaks were perfectly cooked. The truffle fries are cooked nicely and not overly truffled. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for. We will absolutely be back!

Be the first to ReplyI had the most incredible dining experience at Gordon
I had the most incredible dining experience at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore. For my birthday, my wife and stepson treated me to an unforgettable meal. The Beef Wellington, Shiitake mushrooms, Mac & Cheese, and Truffle fries were all simply divine. I can't forget to mention the Matador drink, which was excellent, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding for those with a sweet tooth. What truly made the night special was receiving a personalized Happy Birthday postcard signed by Gordon Ramsay himself. We've dined here many times, and every visit has exceeded our expectations. The friendly staff, exceptional food, and top-notch drinks make it worth the investment. Some might say it's on the pricey side, but when you're treated to a meal of this caliber, it's worth every penny. I'd choose quality over mediocre frozen food any day!

We decided to visit one of the restaurants that we had on our checklist for my bday & decided to give Gordon Ramsey's Steak a try - being a fan of his shows. The restaurant is located inside of the Horseshoe Casino, which I don't love, but whatever Jamar - stop whining. I tried to get reservations for the new Hell's Kitchen restaurant in DC but that thing is booked up completely. Lol. I'm actually glad we came to this Steakhouse bc the ambiance was beautiful, our server - Bethany - was attentive, full of energy & super knowledgeable.Point blank - we got an amazing experience minus the hour long drive or crowds. Having just gotten off a plane, my Wife & I were a bit exhausted and not as hungry as we usually are come dinner time so we decided to just try some things. For appetizers we got the Japanese A5, which if you don't know is Premium Japanese Wagyu & is sold at: $40 an ounce. After getting a recommendation from Bethany, we decided on 4oz but after tasting this delicious, piece of beef perfection, I wish I had would've gotten eight. Point, blank, period - 10/10. The beef literally melts in your mouth. It's the most tender beef I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. For drinks, Bethany suggested a Chai old fashioned. It was strong but delicious & we both went back for seconds. Lol. 7/10My entree was the Beef Wellington. I mean... cmon. Who goes to a Chef Ramsey restaurant for the first time & not try the Wellington, right? And it was good. Really good. But it didn't blow me away. Maybe that's bc I had the Japanese Wagyu? Bc it was very good & I have no complaints. Make sense? 9/10 Keena got the Lobster Risotto, which we loved, at the suggestion of Bethany, considering it's one of Chef Ramsey's specialty dishes. I'm a big fan of risotto so it was really easy to win me over, especially with how perfectly the lobster tail was cooked. 8/10& the Mac & Cheese & Shiitake Mushrooms were just ok, not nasty, but nothing I have to go back & try again. & for dessert, at this point, we're stuffed but decided to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which, was a good experience - not sure if it beats my fav Toffee Pudding at Carmelo's in NY but it is definitely something you should try. 7/10In closing, we had a really good experience at Ramsey's Steak.

I previously wrote a review explaining the problem with arriving at the restaurant on a game night and finding a 100 dollar parking fee. I received a call from management apologizing and telling me there was a parking credit . He was a true gentleman and assured me I would have a different experience next time.Just to call ahead. I plan to take the Mrs. For her birthday next month. Thank you Brent.

I decided to treat myself on my birthday to a meal at Gordon Ramsay Steak and was not disappointed. My filet was prepared perfectly and had more flavor than any filet I have ever had. The crab soup was spicy and flavorful. The potato purรฉe was sublime. Desserts were just perfection. This was the best meal I have ever had. Everything was prepared with care and the flavors were out of this world. Treat yourself to an amazing meal.

The menu was limited since the business was supposed to be closed on Tuesday. The service was a little slow for the light crowd on Valentines Day, but we were still able to order our favorite meals which were tasty.

What I hoped would be a stunning experience was only subpar. There was nothing special about the food and service was definitely lacking. The waiter barely served us and foods took more than average to come out.

A filet Mignon butterflied Oscar style please! Grilled Caesar deliciousness!Mac and Cheese - It's not your soul food Fave made but it's good. Lamb Chops, Crab cake, and truffle fries! Everything is always delicious. Don't check in and snap pics as etiquette doesn't allow for it most times. Today I was tucked in a corner. GR always has the best wait staff. Oddly enough maรฎtre d' never came around, no manager greeting either, although present. If your guests are spending upward of $500 for a meal, the norms of fine dinning should be present in the establishment. This was our only offObservance this evening. Food makes up for lack of customer appreciation.Parking lot did smell like urine, get car service or Uber if you can. Wish this establishment was not attached to the casino.
Be the first to ReplyBy far the best steakhouse I've had in awhile.
I literally come from the Dulles area just to have dinner here and both times I came the food and service was fantastic. I've been to so many upscale restaurants but this place by far is the best of the best of great service! The first time I came I had beef Wellington and that was amazing and the second time I came I had the filet mignon topped bone marrow and both were cooked excellently. I literally want to try something different every time I'm here! This steakhouse is addicting! Only thing I would change is making the rolls a little softer but I truly loved everything else here!

My husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary at Gordon's and it was a delight. Service was excellent, food was on the higher price point but excellent, and ambiance was beautiful. Lobster risotto: absolutely delicious with a nice tail to top it off. (would get again) Beef wellington: after watching Hell's Kitchen all my teen years, I had to get it, but it was a bit of a let down. While the beef was extremely tender and delicious, the puff pastry was soggy, and did not contribute well to the dish. (would not get again)Wagyu Ribeye: while my husband enjoyed it, he thought my ribeye I cooked at home was better. For a pricey steakhouse (and wagyu at that), I wish he enjoyed it a lot more. King crab leg: my husband had a side of crab leg to top off his steak, and he enjoyed that very much.Bone marrow: I got a side of bone marrow because why not... for $10, I got a teaspoon full, and there was too much sauce on top for me to enjoy the marrow. (would not get again)We enjoyed the chimichurri sauce, brussel sprouts, and the loaded baked potato. Overall, it was a great meal with excellent service, but we felt like it could have been better for the price point.
Be the first to ReplyI guess it was daycare night.
Why are infants in a fine dining casino restaurant? I have been to other Ramsay restaurants in the past and had very high expectations for this particular restaurant. The food was delicious but the restaurant was clearly understaffed. We spent our anniversary dinner listening to screaming (not just crying) but two different screaming babies during our entire dinning experience. For the several hundred dollars we spent on dinner it would've been nice to have had a pleasant relaxing date night. I can only assume it was bring your child to fine dining night. For this reason, we will not be back.

Great wine line! We ordered a Cab Sav and were pleasantly surprised when they offered to decant it for us.They accidently switched my husband and my dad's New York Strip steaks, so my dad's had to be sent back (my husband was actually happy with the medium-rare he got vs. the medium he ordered). The waitstaff was very quick to recognize and fix the mistake; I appreciate how quickly they got his new order fired up and out to our table.Since I don't love read meat, I had the Sea Bass with Parsnip and Quinoa which was cooked perfectly. Our side dishes were really the standouts - the truffle fries, truffle mac & cheese, and roasted corn were savory and flavorful. We joked (not really though) about ordering an extra side of mac & cheese to take home with us.. now I regret not doing so!

Spent A LOT of money on bad service, a cold beef Wellington, mediocre sides, and overall a very disappointing evening. I expressed to the waiter that my steak was cold and they did offer to make me a new one but my whole table had cold steaks and at this point we just wanted to leave. They never spoke to us again about our dissatisfaction. We are beyond disappointed and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was laughable for how much you're paying. Tonight I'm going home with a belly full of their free bread just so I don't have to stop somewhere on the way home. You're better off ANYWHERE else.

$$$$$ very expensive! Be prepared to spend $150 per person or more if you order wine or alcohol. ย The atmosphere was 5 star and the waitstaff is very attentive but they under cooked my steak. My gut feeling is they under cook a lot of steaks because they think everyone should eat steak cooked RARE with a cold center. ย If you like your steak cold your experience will be better. But if you like medium or medium well forget it, order the chicken. ย This rating should be 3.5 but because 3 seems harsh I am giving it a 4. In my opinion when you spend that kind of money you should get your steak exactly how you want it. In my case medium with a warm center.
