Grasshopper Point Swimming & Picnic Area Sedona Reviews from The Last Year
What a fun little spot to enjoy the river.
The hike to the river to not too far, but just enough to welcome the sight of the river. There's a great place to climb up the opposite side of the river to jump in. Parking is $12. There are 4 bathrooms in the parking lot. The day we were there, it smelled like something died in one of the bathrooms. Haha. -1 due to the very limited parking.

Amazing! The cliff is about 10 feet and then there's one that's 20 feet and one that's higher, but very. Oil!
This is the perfect spot to cool down and people watch
This is the perfect spot to cool down and people watch after a long day of hiking. Getting in was quite a hot mess because they don't let every single car come in at the same time. They have a system going on and it is as one car leaves, one car is allowed in. This took about 40 minutes for us to make it in and the line behind us was crazy. The trail from the parking lot to the actual creek isn't too bad. There are some boulders / rocks that you have to climb onto but they are pretty small. The water is icy cold no matter what time or month of the year you stop by. I can never fully submerse myself because the water is way too cold. Catch me sitting by the rocks with just my feet in. There is a decent sized cliff that you can jump off and it's pretty interesting to watch people jump off. Recommend wearing water shoes because the rocks hurt. There is a bathroom located in the parking lot but its a lil smelly. Overall we had lots of fun and it was a well spent Saturday. The views are amazing!
Every time we visit Sedona, Grasshopper Point is our first
Every time we visit Sedona, Grasshopper Point is our first stop activity. It never gets old. Our boys (who are very brave) just love jumping off the cliffs. It never gets old. The water is cold and crisp but very refreshing once you're in. Not too difficult and not too far of a walk to get to the swimming hole. Plenty of boulders though to walk on so, be careful.
Great place for the family to swim in the river.
Recommend taking swim shoes. Great for kids as well.

The intention to sit and relax by the waters was accomploshed on our way back to the hidden parts of #OakCreek. We lounged beside some boulders, enjoyed the cool water of the flowing creek surrounded by singing birds. We were lucky to find a secluded and private spot to cap the night off during our stay here. If there's one reason you'd see us back in Sedona, it'll be this! * For more outdoor adventures, follow @Bodintures2

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
