🤮 1/5 - Second hand embarrassment is how I'd describe my experience

Second hand embarrassment is how I'd describe my experience here. Starting off with walking up to the host stand with 5 people around it, then being told to just pick a spot anywhere in the barroom. I've been walked to the bar at an Applebee's, but the hostess and gm seemed too busy gossiping to care. We finally pick a spot at the end of the bar by the service well, which I'd suggest against because it is the most claustrophobic I've ever felt with nobody sitting around me. I would have to guess they're going for a record of most seats and tables in a barroom. Starting off with the saddest plate of fried calamari I've ever seen. It looked like they accidentally poured too much sweet chili sauce onto the plate and sent it out. Our mains made me wonder if the cooks were going drink for drink with the guests at the bar. The plating was god awful, slightly charred half of a tomato and a wilted piece of lettuce with a squirt of sauce on it(??). The steaks looked like someone sat on them and thats what they considered seasoning. I know sandbagging is common at tourist centered spots but damn make it less obvious the kitchen doesn't care. That being said the drinks were the only saving grace about the experience. If you like food, don't go here. Built for and ran by yuppies and good ole boys with no taste and poor fitting suits. I'd be embarrassed to even serve people the food that I saw come out of the kitchen.
