Harts Hotel
It was perfect for what we needed. Very centrally located in Nottingham. Staff were friendly, room was awesome. Large bed and room, bathroom was big and spacious - towels were lovely. Everything was clean and tidy. Very hard to fault. 10/10
An oasis of delight in the centre of Nottingham
Wonderful location near the castle. It’s a beautiful hotel with lovely, welcoming staff. We loved our double room and can only imagine what the garden rooms must be like. The waiter in the restaurant was second to none. He not only made us feel welcome, he made us feel special. The lamb was stupendously good. The gnocchi was the best I’ve ever tasted. It was gnocchi on another level. The poached peach was perfection. My partner is a disabled man who travels widely, and he said the disabled toilets were the best in the world!
Very relaxing stay
We stayed for one night. We received a friendly welcome and then enjoyed an afternoon tea. Lovely food, tea, & Prosecco. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was small & relaxing. The Hotel is in a quiet spot and we liked our Garden room. It was average size but more than adequate for one night. Lovely toiletries, tea/coffee facilities & mini-bar. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Shame the sun wasn’t shining to sit outside. The hotel is a very short walk to the Playhouse Theatre. We were just back in time for a main course in the restaurant. Bar stays open till late. We didn’t experience breakfast as we had to leave early. It is pricy but was a nice treat. Would definitely return.
Lovely boutique hotel stay in Nottingham Park
Lovely boutique, clean and quiet hotel in a beautiful park of Nottingham city centre. The hotel is clean, contemporary and very tastefully decorated. We stayed for one with friends and it is a perfect location to Nottingham city centre whilst being in a very peaceful, leafy part of town. The rooms were fairly small but ample size, lovely bathroom with complimentary toiletries, lovely comfy beds and crisp sheet. Breakfast was also one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had with freshly delivered sourdough breads, and cooked breakfast and fruit. All in all we had a lovely stay. Thank you! :-)
Disappointed and not worth the cost
Disappointed is how I would describe…We booked a Garden Room for a Saturday night at £249 and then my partner called to add the celebration package as a surprise for me. We arrived at 15.15, it was pouring with rain, the car park is tiny and was already full. We were directed across the way to leave the car. The room was very small given the cost and quite outdated. The bathroom was almost a large cupboard behind a sliding door with no extraction so it got very hot and streamy. The flowers and Champagne had been delivered to the room. The flowers are from an external company and were beautiful. There were also 4 tiny petit fours with the bubbly. The room was way too tiny to accommodate to the promised breakfast in the room with Bucks Fizz as there is nowhere to sit together. I think when we called to upgrade the package, we should have been made aware there is no table / chairs in the room. There are two chairs and a table outside in the shared garden, but given the pouring rain, we were never going to be able to eat out there. The celebration package also included turn down service and breakfast with fizz in the room, no of which happened. There was no complimentary newspaper delivered the following morning either. The following morning we went down for breakfast, it was short staffed and very busy. We went to the hot buffet, the bacon, mushrooms and scrambled egg were all empty. The toast arrived cold…No butter came with it and we spent forever waiting for it… The coffees and juices took well over 20 minutes to reach the table too… Other guests were still arriving and having to wait to be seated, disappointed faces came away from the buffet as the serving dishes were replaced in dribs and drabs. All in all, I have stayed in much cheaper places and got far more for my money. To put in some kind of prospective, my room in the Premier Inn at Heathrow last Tuesday night was larger, more modern and more equipped. A disappointing stay for a couple that were looking forward to 20 hours of luxury stay…
A pleasant hotel
Impeccably clean, the friendliest of staff and comfortable beds. It’s a good location and we also benefited from access to the garden/ terrace with views over The Park, having had a garden suite. However, the rooms are small and do look a little dated - showing signs of wear and tear. Parking is limited, and at £10 a night, is also expensive.

We dined last Sunday for lunch to celebrate a birthday. I would like to thank the entire team for our fantastic experience! The food was divine and the service was excellent. We were made to feel so welcomed by the young lady that served our table , thank you again! Glenn M
Not a place to stay of you are looking for a place to get a good nighst sleep. Staff out of their depths .
In a nutshell, I stayed there 23rd of March .Booking via booking,com I arrived late and tired Saturday evening .I was stranded in Nottingham cause of problems on the trains. I needed a good sleep . I was woken up at 7.30am Sunday morning by loads of banging around , outside the actual room . It was continual and I went outside to see what was going on .I had put the do not disturb sign on the door. I went to the front desk having asked a worker what time did they start work cleaning the rooms and they said seven thirty. I made it clear I had no problem with them but I was woken by all the noise and banging . The desk was very unhelpful , and put me through to a manager , who said ' I will see what we can do' as regards a refund. I went back to the room packed my bag to leave (no Sunday morning peace and quiet and chance to sleep in) So at just after eight a smarmy staff member took me to a quiet spot and asked me who I had booked with and said oh cause its booking.com we can refund you as its third party. It was just ridiculous that a supposed dapper hotel had no concern for people staying there and paying good money to hopefully 'rest' 'sleep' 'unwind' so while its looks dapper it was like faulty towers . The staff member gave me the managers card , that was just txking the mickey. Three managers, rude awakening at 7.30 Sunday morning and zero regard for people staying there. I feel it is important to flag this up as if you are travelling and you do need to rest this place was rubbish and the staff seemed out of their depth in things other than claiming there is no validity to criticism if its booked from a third party I.E. The websites they advertise through. I left the Harts Hotel , very tired and feeling ripped off financially with no way of addressing the issue. I have had ten time better service in budget hotels that do not have any pretense about them. Alan Worthington was the third manager I was told to contact . If getting fobbed off by two others was not enough!!
Hidden gem
It’s a hidden gem in the centre of Nottingham. Stylish rooms, clean slick bathroom with all the features you could want and a very comfy bed. Staff were so polite and helpful. It Completely exceeded expectations! Would definitely stay again
Exceptional hotel with wonderful staff and beautiful rooms!
This hotel is a little gem! I stay regularly, the rooms are beautiful with incredible views over The Park and beyond. The staff make the hotel extra special, always friendly helpful and kind I also eat here regularly and I must say the food is exceptional . The Sunday roasts I would say are the best in Nottingham and the restaurant is small and intimate Big shout out to Vas in the restaurant, Andrea, Ollie, Tim, Kacey, Simon and Adam the general manager . They always go above snd beyond to make my stay faultless I would also like to mention Rachel and the cleaning gang for always being friendly and welcoming I had a tough 2023, and this place helped me more than anyone would ever know! Thank you all, and long may my stays continue!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
