An unassuming establishment with great food, decent prices, and attentive service. All the food are home style and let you feel like you left mamas house for dinner! Highlights: Lasagna Classica Al Ragu and Linguini Villa Dorata Not only was the food excellent the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely return.
Our 'go to' Italian restaurant in Palm Springs, Il Giardino
Our 'go to' Italian restaurant in Palm Springs, Il Giardino is family owned and operated. The food is consistently delicious, service is friendly and efficient, and whether dining inside or out, a pleasant atmosphere. As East coast transplants, we describe Il Giardino as "New York Italian" right here in Palm Springs. Our recommendation for good, home style Italian food!
Went on Friday evening on Coachella weekend.
Food was served quickly and portions were generous. Server was knowledgeable. Would recommend.
Went here tonight for dinner.
Ambiance was nice, and the food was decent though I found the portions to be a bit small. Three stars because I had to send my branzino back for being undercooked, then it was slow to come back fully cooked and was not offered a glass of wine or anything as compensation.

Good. But not excellent. I live close by so it's a go to in off season when it isn't mobbed by tourists. The lasagne is my favorite of things I've tried. The cocktails are well mixed. The house wine is ok.
The service was great.
Our waiter was very helpful and fun. They all went out of their way for us to have a great experience. The food was a bit on the bland side- not bad, it was good but nothing to write home about. A tad expensive for the bland taste and small portion sizes. The restaurant is not large, so it did not feel overcrowded even when the dinner rush picked up
Authentic Italian foods as it can be.
Family small business. Very cozy ambiance. Great staff and service. Reservation is highly recommended if you like to experience.
Food is pretty good.
Try the homemade raviolis and their rack of lamb. Everyone their is friendly and the service is prompt and attentive
Service was OK.
Take out was fine. The food was decent, but it was the price that bowled me over: $63 for ravioli, a caprese salad, and a cannoli? Seriously? No. The quality did not match the pricing. Won't be going back.
Good Italian food,.
Good service. I ordered the bruschetta to start. It was served on a soft and toasted warm bread, piled high. It was good, but served with oregano instead of basil, a bit bitter and stronger than basil. For my main I ordered lasagna. The noodles were well cooked and the sauce was flavorful. Lots of cheese too. The service was nice and friendly. The ambiance was non-traditional, but nice.
Mediocre Italian
Totally mediocre Italian. I have no idea what other reviewers of this restaurant are talking about. The place looked cute and authentic but the food did not deliver. The calamari was just at the point of being overdone and chewy although the sauce was tasty. My husband ordered Chicken Marsala but what he got was some chicken with cream sauce dish that they called marsala. Theresa’s ravioli was okay, the ragu was fairly good. Service was iffy at best. This may be good to some but we have been to some pretty spectacular Italian restaurants around the country and this unfortunately was not one of them.
A True Taste of Italy - in the Desert
Don't judge a book by its cover and don't judge a restaurant by its location in a shopping center. Step inside and the atmosphere is that of a small Italian Cafe. Extensive wine selection. Diverse and authentic menu selection. Entire wait staff was exceptional. Knowledgeable waiter took the time to explain menu items and suggested wine parings. Food was exceptionally well prepared/presented. Staff was very attentive but NOT pushy. Truly allowed us to enjoy our meals without feeling rushed. We did get reservations (on line) but I don't think we really needed them. Might have just been a slow night?? Don't get to Palm Springs very often but would definitely put this place on my todo list when I do return.
Our new favorite restaurant in PS
We travel to PS regularly and I can't believe we have missed this place for so long ! Il Giardino has a limited but good menu, Sicilian recipes from the family who run the restaurant. Their food is fresh and expertly prepared, the service is exemplary and we will return time and again. We had a steak ( the special that day ) and linguini with shrimp. The steak was so tender it could be cut with your fork and the pasta was of perfect doneness & proportion. Our Cesar salad with white anchovy was delicious. Dessert ? Canolli and espresso.... Heaven help us. It was a great dining experience from beginning to end.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
