Jean-Georges Beverly Hills Reviews from The Last Year

I ate here for brunch, before attending an event inside the Waldorf Hotel and had a fabulous time. A few years ago the menu did not have many items on it, however, I am glad they added more items to the menu. They have a respectable amount of options to choose from and everyone can find something to eat. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was beautiful. The weather was clear and brisk with an unbelievable view of Beverly Hills. We tried everything, the lobster burger, guacamole, Caesar salad, soup, and cookies. Their alcoholic drinks were very good too. The lemon drop was my favorite. Very trendy upscale environment. Wonderful place to eat brunch, lunch, or dinner. Note: Valet parking only

I came to the Jean-Georges restaurant at the Beverly Waldorf Astoria Hotel again after two years. I feel that it tastes better after the epidemic. The most important thing is that it is in the hotel, so it is safer. Safety is now the only worry for everyone living in Los Angeles. Some restaurants have roads. There is an outdoor table next to it, but someone may be robbed at gunpoint at any time. Tonight's dishes are only 8 courses. I think the softly poached egg is very good because it is paired with caviar. The toast is also very crispy. The wagyu is the softest I have ever tasted. The steak completely melts in your mouth. There is a lot of black and white pepper on it. It reminds me of Chinese spicy and sour belly. The overall environment, service and taste are nothing to say except it is a bit bland hahaha. I have a strong taste. Three people spent 1300 US dollars. The price is reasonable and the environment is excellent.
Jean-George's service is top notch.
The ambiance is upscale & pleasant. It was my first time there, so I took a seat at the bar. I was greeted by a beautiful brunette bartender. She recommended the raspberry Bellini, which was a 10/10. Look forward to coming back.

Outstanding on so many levels! From the greeting to our good bye 5*. We were well-greeted by the manager Greg for our 8Pm reservation. Greg showed up to our table & was happy to have us back. Our server William was so attentive, knowledgeable and always smiled which is very important to me. He was genuine & super competent in his profession. Jorge at the bar makes a delicious lemon drop cocktail. I had the roasted salmon and the Caesar salad was the best I have ever eaten. The sunset was literally a bonus on this perfect evening. Shout out to Adriane too. He was such a sweetheart!

We chose the seasonal menu called Taste of Spring, which was $180 a person with 6 courses. The first course was called Toasted Egg Yolk Caviar, made with Kaviari Kristal caviar. The caviar tasted amazing. The eggs were perfectly soft but not runny. This was the best course of the night. The second course was Madai Ceviche, with rhubarb juice, red onion, and avocado. Madai is a red seabream fish from Japan. This course tasted great - it was light and delicious, but nothing particularly special about it. It tasted like an upper end sushi restaurant's yellowtail ceviche. Course 3: Spring Pea Potstickers These Spring Pea Potstickers were so tasty, but it was a little too salty for my personal preference. Course 4: Striped Bass. The striped bass is accompanied with spring garlic-lemon nage, silky fava beans and artichoke hearts. The nage broth and fava beans were amazing. The striped bass was average because the skin was overfried. The artichoke hearts had many unchewable pieces, which should not ever happen at a restaurant of this caliber. Course 5 was a roasted wagyu beef tenderloin with white asparagus and buttery hot sauce. At least that's what the menu says. The beef was very tender, as expected, but it had VERY little flavor. I don't like my beef to be seasoned much, but this beef had almost no flavor at all. The sauce was not buttery or hot, it was very citrusy. Last course, the dessert, Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla bean ice cream. This was amazing. The restaurant was beautiful and the service was impeccable. Compare to most other Michelin level restaurants we've partaken, most of the courses did not feel up to par.
