I have been wanting to come here for a while, the food
I have been wanting to come here for a while, the food looked so good! The staff here are great and very attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and very modern. We ordered quite a lot. We started with the Kumamoto Oysters, these were good and very fresh. We also got the Otoro Tartare, it was good but there is a lot of fatty tuna for just two of us. I didn't care for the rice paper cracker served with it. The Nigiri Moriawase was the star of the night. Incredibly delicious and included some very interesting fish I have never had. The drinks here were amazing, I really enjoyed the Lychee Princess. The Haru Scallops were okay, I wouldn't order these again. Lacked flavor. We ended with the Short Rib Dumplings, now these were good! Very interesting combination and delicious. A lot of the food was good and fresh but there was some things that didn't wow us. For the price of their items everything should be amazing. I would come here again for the Nigiri and drinks.

My cousin has been raving about this place to me for quite some time. When I was visiting for the weekend, we made it our mission to go here! This is not your average every day sushi place. It's more contemporary and devine. We had a reservation for 830PM on a Saturday evening. My guess is that reservations are highly recommended. The atmosphere is nice inside. Nice lighting and welcoming. Our service was top notch. Our waitress was a real rockstar and handled everything we ordered with care. We ordered a bunch of things. Everything comes out of the kitchen as it's ready. Now onto the food.. To start I had a matcha espresso martini. Flavors were very unique and the drink was flavorful! It was a wonderful drink to start the evening with! We ordered a handful of things to share. Everything is a decent size and perfect for sharing. We had nabe, dumplings, roasted duck, two different sushi rolls, tuna tartare and karaage chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious. The flavor profiles of each dish was mouthwatering and delectable. What a euphoric experience! Can't wait to return.

I didn't eat, I lived. And my taste buds came alive. I cannot remember our server's name, and I am so sorry. (Maybe Halle??) I am remiss because she was amazing. From the recommendations to accommodations for my specific dietary needs, she came through above and beyond. She was able to replace the rice with cucumber and it turned out beautifully. The avocado was also presented like a work of art. The garlic kimchi edamame was actually the best spicy edamame we've ever had. My wife said her mezcal cocktail was delicious and ordered two of them. It is a tragedy that we live out of state. I will not forget you, Kabooki.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous spot in a strip mall.
We loved this place. It's beautiful, fun, and the sushi was delicious! Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyKabooki is classy, boogie and sexy at the same time!
Kabooki is classy, boogie and sexy at the same time! Super high end Japanese cuisine. Service is excellent, hostesses are nice and greet you within the second you enter. The place is always packed, so you always need a reservation to have a table in the restaurant however they still take walk in customers in the lounge area which is connected to the restaurant itself, it is on a first in first served basis, they will offer you the same cocktail menu and food menu. My favorite item is the Waguy on the hot stone that you will cook on your own. Price per person around $100-$120 with a cocktail. It is a tapas kind of menu, so be ready to order a bunch of items! Our one year old made it there and she loves it! So they also are kids friendly. Highly recommend it for the sushi lovers!! Michael & Jessica R.
Be the first to ReplyLeft hungry and spent over $100.
Very small portions and very pricy. The restaurant itself is nice and service wasn't bad. Just expect more with how nice other reviews are on this place. Will not be back.
Be the first to ReplyPricy but the sushi is pretty good.
I would recommend going Sunday since they have Ramen on Sunday. And the ramen is sooooo good
Be the first to ReplySome coworkers and I stopped in for a drink after a company
Some coworkers and I stopped in for a drink after a company team building event. I have never been here before, but it was such a beautiful spot, and it was nice to see that they had a lounge that you could relax in instead of sitting at the bar or grabbing a table just for drinks. I opted to try their Kabooki espresso martini which was so smooth and delicious. Sometimes espresso martinis can be too bitter or too creamy like a latte instead of a cocktail, but they've nailed the formula here! I also enjoyed some of their plum sake while I was here, but it was gone before I could get a photo haha! I'd love to come back and dine here, as what I saw of their food menu looked appetizing!
Be the first to ReplyHigh class food and ambiance as well as well trained staff.
If you want A++ sushi and dining experience, you found this hidden gem. Very hidden from the city on Colonial drive. I've eaten all over the world and I can tell you this is changed my way of eating sushi. Can't wait to bring my father and anyone who hasn't been to London, NYC or LA to get the finest sushi experience you'll have in Orlando. Tremendous experience folks. Michelin Stars worthy
Be the first to ReplyI've been to this restaurant a few times and I LOVE IT
I've been to this restaurant a few times and I LOVE IT HERE! I love the low dim lighting in the restaurant it really sets the vibe for a nice chill date night. Service is always amazing greeted and seated in less than a minute. Food is extremely tasty and the presentation is spot on. I prefer cooked sushi so my fav rolls are Tom yum roll which is torched smoked salmon and panko shrimp & Lv roll which is cooked waygu both very tasty the Brussel sprouts were good as well. Oh and how can I forget about the fried rice with pork belly 10/10 Drinks are delicious and strong all you'll need is one ;)
Be the first to ReplyNever a bad food choice on the menu.
Service is informed and helpful. Make sure you try the ribs. More importantly I highly suggest you get a reservation.
Be the first to ReplyKabooki offers such an elegant atmosphere.
I haven't tried the lounge yet but it looks so modern & cozy. If you don't have a reservation, I would go when they open at 5. They are probably one of the most expensive sushi places in Orlando but their quality is top-notch. We really enjoyed our peach balsamic Brussels sprouts & truffle Parmesan edamame. I love Tom Yum soup but the Tom Yum roll was missing that sour punch you'd expect from it. The spicy tuna was great but that is usually my favorite & the simplest to make anywhere you go. My sister had sashimi - it was buttery & fresh as always. Our server (bartender?), Kim, was nice enough but her mind seemed to be elsewhere. She came off as indifferent but still managed to present a beautiful smile. She didn't offer us Happy Hour menus, she did not voluntarily make any helpful suggestions upon hearing it was my sister's first time there nor tell us about the Chef's Pick(s) of the Day. The service was truly our only discomfort. I informed her & the host that it was my sister's birthday before she got there so they could bring her a lil celebratory ube ice cream but I ended up having to ask for it in front of her at the end of our meal anyways. I also had to advocate for my Happy Hour items to be priced accordingly & the check to be brought more than once. I understand stuff happens & it could have been an off-day for her. I am hoping to receive better service next time I introduce someone to Kabooki. With that being said, I would certainly recommend this location to someone wanting some seriously delicious food. Just beware their parking situation. Not fun on a busy evening.

Be the first to ReplyOur family have enjoyed the beauty of dining at Kabooki
Our family have enjoyed the beauty of dining at Kabooki since 2018. The ambiance is grown and sexy from what it was years ago and boy have they expanded. You can always expect a relaxing fun vibe, top notch service, and integral ingredients. My favorite spot to sit will always be the bar to do the chefs tasting menu. However there are plenty of tasty options to choose from in their sit down tables. An OG dish that had us traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando monthly and one of the reason we relocated her is Maguro Truffle. If your into texture and rich sauces the Maguro Truffle is your nirvana.Kabooki also offers the goods if you prefer traditional sushi nigiri style. They have it all from rare cuts of salmon all the way to Foie Gras. There beverages range from draft beer all the way to cognacs. I personally prefer Japanese whiskey as a palate cleanser. For all my sober curious peeps DHO's mocktails are available.A truly special experience at Kabooki is their Omakase experience. I like to do this in groups of four so we can all properly process what was put on our mouths. (DM me if your looking for someone to share the experience with)Overall Kabooki is my personal favorite sushi restaurant in all of Central Florida. Yes I've been to the other offerings in the area. For me; Kabooki still takes the pot!

EVERYTHING. From the moment I walked in, I thought, "oh, this will be good." I was wrong- it was AMAZING. The ambiance was very cool. Our server, Kimo, was top notch. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the food and drink menus and offered the best guidance for a stellar culinary experience for me and my mother. From the A5 wagyu old fashioned, to the maguro truffle starter, two specialty rolls, and bluefin sashimi for "dessert". I am very much looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu.
Be the first to ReplyKabooki is a vibe! Upscale, great ambiance, elevated drinks
Kabooki is a vibe! Upscale, great ambiance, elevated drinks and unique sushi rolls and bites to try on the menu. Loveddd the sticky ribs and maguro truffle appetizer. I could of ordered another one of those ribs for dinner! So flavorful and the meat was tender. We tried a variety of sushi rolls - and they were allll good. But would highly recommend the LV roll (with the wagyu beef) and the Ghost roll. This place is very "insta worthy" with the lounge attached to the restaurant. Attire is upscale restaurant/night out attire. Great place to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a very classy sushi spot.
The service was great and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Even though it was busy our servers were very attententive. I would say it's more on the hipster and artisinal side and is a little pricey but I feel the quality of food is well worth it. The cocktails actually had a lot of flavor that was just alcohol. If I wasn't driving I could definitely see myself ordering more than one. The St Louis sticky ribs were so tender they fell off the bone and the sauce was great. We got two rolls the Ghost and Tom Yum. The Tom Yum was light and refreshing and didn't sit heavy on the stomach. The Ghost was very savory and I felt satisfied after eating. I don't live in Orland but I would definitely stop by again whenever I'm in town!
Be the first to ReplyWe made reservations on the weekend and there was
We made reservations on the weekend and there was miscommunication so I thought this was place would be a little too upscale and unaccommodating, but it was actually very fun and lovely! After the small hiccup with the reservations, everything went smoothly and I must say the staff were all very knowledge with each dish and presentation. It was set up like a small tapas and tastings of specialty Japanese/Asian fusion dishes and items.

Very unassuming strip mall but super cute vibe, elevated style and dim so you know its good. Saw multiple middle aged women with their flashlights out! Service was fast and well informed. Had an amaaaazing riesling and my partner said the espresso martinis were busting. Everything was fresh and yummy!!
Be the first to ReplyKabooki is my go to for premium sushi in Orlando.
The booki booki roll has to be one of my favorites and I always like trying one of their daily specials. You can guarantee the sushi is always going to be extremely fresh. Their old fashioned is the best around in my opinion! The vanilla cherry bitters are super premium. Since the remodel of this location the ambiance is top tier relaxation and service is always on point. If you are looking for a guaranteed great sushi spot. This is the one
