Kings Co Imperial Brooklyn Reviews from The Last Year

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value: 4/5 Soup dumplings (dine-in only, not available for takeout or delivery) are flavorful and big. Bigger than the ones at Joe's Shanghai or Three Times or others. The shrimp toast is excellent.

Costs $24 for chicken and broccoli that only had four pieces of chicken. Rest of the box is broccoli and red pepper. Do not order if you actually want some chicken.
if you're asian, don't come here.
almost all the dishes taste the same -- salty with a hint of spice? there's no umami either. not sure why i expected a dish named "ants climbing a tree" to taste anywhere near authentic
This is the spot! Kind staff.
Wonderful ambience. And the food? My word, it's the best Chinese food in Brooklyn. The Soup Dumplings are worth the trip alone. But go for the dumplings and stay for everything else. It always hits! Everything is family style, which allows you to really get a taste of a few dishes. I always keep a favorite and try a couple of new ones each trip!
This place is gooooood and my photo does not do it justice.
It has a divey feel and quirky layout, and I loved every second of it. The food was fabulous (though salty!) - we got shrimp toasts, pork soup dumplings, the pork ribs, cold sesame noodles, scallion pancakes, beans, and general Tso's. The soup dumplings and the ribs were the highlights, but everything was hot (or correctly cold in the case of the noodles) and delicious. Service was friendly and very attentive. Would go back here in a heartbeat.
Delicious meal with four friends on the Heated Back Patio.
It was 50 degrees outside and I was worried that it wouldn't be warm enough, but I ended up taking off my coat! All the food was great. Though the highlight for me was the scallion pancakes.
USED TO LOVE YOU NOW IM NOT SURE We used to be regulars
USED TO LOVE YOU NOW IM NOT SURE We used to be regulars here and live right down the street but lately it's been kind of hard. Firstly, I wish there was more of a friendly neighborhood feel (especially given how much we go in) but it always feels like a kinda icey reception when we stop by. The food is good but there's always a "soup dumpling special" we're told about at the start of the meal that, frankly, should just be on the menu subject to availability considering they always have them. The straw that broke the camel's back happened the other day when the main course came out before the egg roll dim sum -- like I'm talking 15/20min before and somehow everything (including those egg rolls) ended up on the check. We were hoping they'd be comped but it wasn't to be. "I wish this establishement would welcome its neighbors the way the neighborhood welcomes it." -- Anonymous
This was, likely, the worst meal i I've ever eaten.
The sauce had too much baking soda, or something, and it attacked my tongue. It was, unfortunately, a waste of money. I couldn't even finish it.

In town for a week and my friend who is a local took me to this spot! We got drinks at a bar before and went to our reservation at kings co. the atmosphere was amazing, great music! Fantastic matchsticks! Immaculate food! I would definitely go again!
When we stepped into this restaurant we knew that this
When we stepped into this restaurant we knew that this place would be wild (in a good way) probably because this place has so many oddly placed rooms. We ordered the soup dumplings and they were so good you have to try them and we also ordered some chicken pot stickers(I forget what it is called), we loved those potstickers they had really tender chicken and was not over cooked which some restaurants do. We were confused because none of the food we ordered had rice in it so just know order to order some rice if you want any. We also had some really good mushrooms that had been missed placed and they said we could keep it and we thought it was the crispy chicken but then we crispy chicken arrived at our table and they said they they were sorry about the mix up. The service here was really good and the candy you get when you pay is sooooop gooood. For all of that I 4.5 stars because they gave us something that we didn't order also because I dont believe in 5 star food

I found myself seated at a table with four other people, and we all placed our orders for appetizers and main dishes simultaneously. While most of the food arrived promptly, one dish was significantly delayed, taking approximately 35 minutes. Regrettably, no one from the staff informed us about the delay, leading to a rather unpleasant atmosphere at the table as we were all hungry but opted to wait for the missing dish. After waiting for 25 minutes, we decided to start eating, even though the food had already turned cold. Eventually, after an additional 10 minutes, the delayed dish finally made its appearance, but by then, everyone had almost finished their meals. To add to our disappointment, a 20% gratuity was automatically included in the bill, which felt particularly frustrating given the circumstances. Despite the unfortunate turn of events, we all tried to maintain a positive attitude so as not to spoil my friend's birthday dinner.

Every time I land in New York City to see my daughter this is the first place we go. Literally when I get off the plane, nothing sets the pace like this place. Literally, every time I have gone for the past three years it has delivered. It's sad that that is not the case for most places. I'm not one to push restaurants, nor do I have any affiliation to them, but man this place is really good! The shrimp toast is unbelievable, the cold noodles which I thought I would never be a fan of, are my go to. Dine in or pick up will not be disappointed. Order with confidence.

This was the first time ordering from Kings Co Imperial (after hearing so many great reviews). These noodles are addicting and I've ordered them several times since trying them!

Soooo good! Give me Chinese food from Kings Co Imperial and I'm in heaven; all my beloved favorites (below) melt in my mouth, and there's an incredible medley of subtle spicy and sweet, never numbing and greasy, just mouthwatering flavor, hearty and wholesome. Ingredients are top notch! As an ardent fan, I've been to the restaurant often enough to have tried everything on the menu, so here are some of my favorites. I'm obsessed with their: -Sesame Shrimp Toast: a delicious snack from my childhood. -Sichuan Cucumbers: hot and spicy. -Dry Fried Long Bean: Chinese soul food. -Kung Po Sweet Potato -Hong Kong Style Noodle: childhood favorite of mine. -Crispy Garlic Chicken - Craving Popeyes, this is the dish that you'll want more!

Always refreshing to walk into a space, and be fully waited on. Service at Kings is more than attentive it is detailed, and interacting with the staff makes you feel like visiting someone's very inviting home. The food is also on par with the feeling of home, like getting served all your favorite dishes by your favorite aunt or uncle. Delicious and made with love.

Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

Write a note with the Name of the restaurant, Name on reservation, day/time/number of people, your phone number. Then on the bottom wrote “confirmed by phone”. Screenshot it and submit.
