Had an amazing experience
Really enjoyed my stay. If Im ever back in the Kitahama area this will be my first choice. I know a lot of people say that the area is a little lackluster because there aren't any good views but I couldn't disagree more. The city is beautiful and has a ton to offer. Its really close and convenient to stores, public transit, and the Osaka Castle. Staff was really friendly, the hotel has everything you'll need (microwaves, mini fridge, washer/dryer, bottled water, etc.).

Excellent hotel located next to the metro station, a seven eleven and a Lawson opposite and in the basement next to a super fresco!! Clean room cleaned every day. Toothbrush, hairbrush, razors in the room, Fridge, safe and kettle too. On the 2nd and 10th floors washing machine and microwave. Bottle of water available at reception. Lovely staff. I will definitely come back on my next trip.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location with clean rooms and an amazing shower
Great location with 2 convenience stores just opposite the hotel and the subway just a 5 min walk from the station. The hotel staff were polite and helpful as well. The room was spacious enough to lay open 2 luggages and the shower was amazing. Would definitely stay here again in the future. The wifi connection was slow at times but that was still fine.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Hotel and Good Location
- The hotel is very near na Sakaisuji Line (2mins walk) and has a 711 directly across and a few steps from 711 is a Lawson and a Family Mart on the other side of the block. The area is quiet but with a lot of offices nearby so the area is pretty great as well for some evening drinks or dinner as there are a lot of small restaurants within the vicinity. Tip: try the creamy ramen at the small ramen shop directly behind 711. :) - The staff are very friendly and pleasant and checkin and checkout was such a breeze. The hotel is very clean even the corridors and the staff does a great job in tidying up the rooms. If you decide not to have your room cleaned, they will leave a basket of toiletries, fresh towels and coffee and tea supplies at your doorstep Take note, their coffee supply for the room are awesome. Not cheap coffee! So this is definitely a big plus! - Rooms are spacious and was able to fit all our 3 big and 1 small luggages without a problem. Walls are carpeted, toilet and shower are all clean. Toiletries supplied to us were all of good quality. - Bottled water is not limited to 2 bottles everyday like other hotels. They have the water bottles lined up on a table beside the elevator where you may get water anytime you need and you may get as much as you want, though let's not abuse this kind gesture from the hotel ;) Overall, my experience staying in this hotel is a very pleasant one and I would definitely book this hotel again when we visit Osaka again. I hope the management will continue this good service. Thank you, Hotel Brighton Team for the wonderful time at your hotel!
Be the first to ReplyGreat hotel .
Great hotel with friendly staff, very clean and the rooms are decent size. Located in a quiet part of the town so if you want to be in the middle of everything it is not for you. Close to public transportation and the Castle. For us was excellent. We traveled with 3 other friends and we all loved it
Be the first to ReplyExcelent Stay!
Of all the hotels I stayed at on this trip to Japan, this was the best. The room is large by Japanese standards. Location is not central but Katahama metro station is close by. If I come back to Osaka I will come back to this hotel
Be the first to ReplyGreat Value for Price
For what we paid, the hotel is amazing. The hotel is located at Kitayama, which is a bit far from some of the most popular tourist spots, e.g. Dotonbori (~40 minutes walk). But there’s a metro station within 1 minutes walk, so it’s still quite convenient. The hotel room was larger than most of the business hotels I stayed in Osaka, got enough space for 2 ppx and the luggage. It was clean, and the bathroom with separate shower and bathtub was excellent.
Be the first to ReplyVery, very well priced
Great location, and very, very well priced. Right by one subway where it was 2 stops away from dotonbori and 5 mins walk from the subway to shin-Osaka. About 1500 metres from Osaka castle as I ran there each morning. Great service, all spoke good English and were very helpful. Other restaurants and 7 eleven close by. Would easily recommend
Be the first to ReplyNice hotel, friendly staff, spacious room
This hotel was the best I stayed in while I was in Japan. The room was quite spacious, had a proper wardrobe (not just hangers), a safe that was built in the desk and a small fridge. The bathroom had a decent size, it had a separate bath and a shower. The bed was a little bit hard for me but that's just personal preference. I still had very good two nights' sleep there. The lobby was nice and the staff were very friendly and they all spoke English. Bottled water was provided in the lobby. Check in was smooth and effective, check out was even faster. They let me store my luggage after checking out which was great, so I could max out my time in Osaka without worrying about my luggages. 7eleven was literally accross the street. The hotel was located only a few min walk from different metro/train stations, it was very easy to get there and going to different locations by public transport. If I go back to Osaka, I will definitely stay at Hotel Brighton City Osaka.
Be the first to ReplyGood location
The hotel was a fantastic location for the metro system. We booked the room with breakfast. Has I of known the breakfast was not buffet style but was a set japanese breakfast I would not of selected this, we ended up buying breakfast every morning form 7 11. The rooms are a good size for Japan. The shower was a good one.
Be the first to ReplySo great that we want to keep them a secret
So we can have them all to ourselves. Great staff, large room, micro and ice in hallway of some floors, daily room service available, modern shower, quiet, good a/c, umbrellas, 7-11 and Lawson’s, train station and grocery store in next building, bottled water. Will be repeat customer on next Osaka visit. Thank you.
Be the first to ReplyCannot fault this place
I am in the middle of a three week trip across Japan, and have accepted small rooms and bathrooms in hotels. For Osaka, I found this hotel, at similar pricing to the others, but much bigger rooms, and I could actually open up my large suitcase on the floor and still have room to walk around it. And the bathrooms have higher ceilings, and the shower / bathtub are separate, which is my favourite part.
Three or four stops north and you are at Osaka Station, south and you get to the likes of Dotonburi. 7-11 right across the street.
I would recommend this to anybody.
Excellent hotel to stay in Osaka
Great hotel, clean and tidy and perfect in every way. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are larger (Compared to Tokyo) and well presented. Hotel is situated in a quiet decent neighborhood with a 7-11 opposite the hotel. We enjoyed our stay for 4 days in Osaka and did daily trips to Kyoto, Hiroshima etc
Be the first to ReplyGood hotel in osaka's business center
Stayed here one night in October - hotel is very nice and offers excellent value for money: very nice and decent size rooms and easy access to the underground. The location itself is in the center but not quite in the shopping and night life area but rather in the downtown business area. Still there is a very large and good variety of dining options in the area and the shopping area is just a 10 minutes away in the train.
