Good Ramen
Decided to try some Ramen when coming back from a long trip out of the city. Found Koko online and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. The food was good and the portion size was just enough to satisfy our hunger. The chicken wing appetizer was excellent and you couldn’t go wrong with either the Vegetarian Ramen or the Chicken one.

Was so excited to go back and so disappointed 😔. Why is the egg cold? And every vegetable was literally just taken out of the fridge and dropped in a hot broth ( which was very good). And the waitress, very sweet but was rushing everyone out!! 🙁 used to really like @koko_ramen .

I like this place... I’ve been there twice now and have been pleased each time. Everything is good from appetizers to the ramen.
Will be back.
Wonderful Ramen in a Relaxed Setting
Koko Ramen is located just off the the Cortelyou Street in Ditmas Park. It's a lovely little restaurant with a casual atmosphere. There is a small "eating bar" against the window so you can feel comfortable as a solo diner. As the name implies, the main menu fare is Ramen but there are other choices. For our part, we had the Chicken Ramen and the Vegetable Ramen. Both were delicious. The broth is hardy, the ingredients fresh. For the setting, the prices seem a bit high and it is cash only but certainly worth a visit for a delicious meal.

A nice local spot for warm ramen and other delicious tidbits. We have been there twice and enjoyed it both times, and both times for lunch. I highly recommend the duck buns to start - delicious Peking duck in a silky, soft bun with lettuce and a bit of sauce. Great small bite. I have also had the crispy shrimp bun and it too was delicious, as were the gyoza. The ramen is the main course and we have had the spicy pork miso ramen, beef ramen and one other I can't recall. All very tasty and generous portions. I will say that the beef ramen was a bit salty for my taste. To wash it all down we had the warm Sake. All in all a delicious and warming lunch. Be aware - CASH ONLY.
