KultO Madrid Reviews from The Last Year
Tuna and much more
We were a group of friends and the truth is we were delighted. Dishes can be ordered in half portions so you can try the entire menu. The selection of wines is also very good with little-known references. I recommend the tuna dishes, they are amazing.
Disappointment
Unfortunately it failed miserably. Dinner with tuna salad, nothing like the images, which was cut to shreds, without any flavor, correct crystal prawns and the "best", a scallop salpicón (which that day decided not to go) along with cockles, prawns and Cold, flavorless mussels from the refrigerator, in a kind of large mint and zucchini soup. Objectively, you may like the dishes or not, but the lack of treatment with the product, when the prices are not low, should be non-negotiable. Three tables occupied, so the kitchen couldn't be saturated... anyway, a shame, I won't be back. Ticket 58 euros per person with wine (€35) and without dessert.
The off-menu dishes are also exquisite.
We are regular customers of Kulto, but we haven't been there since before Christmas. We really like the dishes they have on the menu, but we also like to try some of the ones they have off the menu. This time we opted for some mushrooms (cells) and it was a success. They were exquisite. If you are a mushroom lover, it is an excellent choice. Of course the dishes we ordered from the menu, as always, were delicious (tripe, oxtail bikini, rice with quail and salad). In short, it is a restaurant to go to from time to time to taste and enjoy its dishes on and off the menu. Very good quality-price ratio. For all that, it is one of our favorites.
A Sunday with good surprises
Delicious food, prepared with care and creativity in addition to excellent service A pleasant space to eat at the high tables on the ground floor or at the tables on the upper floor
Corner with Cadiz details on Ibiza Street in Madrid
Restaurant with an apparently Cádiz menu, with an assortment of Sherry wines made up of the five palos (fino, manzanilla, amontillado, oloroso and palo Corta) Good salad, grilled squid, and very good rice with quail Nice place although with high tables, and friendly and professional staff Recommended option on Ibiza street
Boletus with dreamy dewlap
It is important to reserve a table upstairs, the terrace and the lower part are uncomfortable. The boletus with dewlap are very good...the fideúa is very Asian and the artichokes are regular...but I want to try more dishes. Of course, for 80 euros I want a table in good condition.
Michelin star level
Quiet sunday eve, booked online. Noisy downstairs place, but upstairs great noise cancelling system. Very friendly staff, none spoke english though. Food was amazing, prices very acceptable, great wine menu. One minus: filthy toilet
Your lemon pie
Very delicious food and very friendly workers, perhaps some details to improve in their attention. I prefer their chickpea socarrat (something very different) and their lemon pie dessert.
Delicious dishes, very professional staff, some details to improve
At first glance, the prices of the dishes seem high but once you try them, you forget about them. Everything is great, the room staff is very friendly and they recommend you very well. Our only problem that made us consider returning, at least in summer: it is hot. The temperature in the room was high, making it uncomfortable to properly enjoy a pleasant dinner.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
