La Boheme Palo Alto Reviews from The Last Year
Fantastic fish and chips and a French restaurant
On a beautiful spring day in Palo Alto had lunch this bistro. I had been there many times before, but never saw fish and chips as a entre on the luncheon menu. I enjoy this dish and was rewarded with an outstanding version of this more typically English dish. I lived in London for three years and had many versions of fish and chip there. This was the best I have had in Palo Alto and was significantly better than all the versions I had in London. The fish was sole and it was prepared in four pieces that were breaded and deep-fried. It was done perfectly and the fish was moist. The chips were also well above what I’ve experienced in other places. My friend had a croak. Mansour sandwich and enjoyed it immensely. I have previously eaten many omelettes and had muscles and chips. Eating on the street portion was also very pleasant as well. Great service and good quality for money.

Best French bistro ambiance and great staff who works with you to pick great food and affordable wine pairing.
Good food.
Nice ambience. Had the Coq Au Vin. It was tasty. French food tends to be on the saltier side of world cuisines. I enjoyed the soufflé for dessert. This is an area full of decent restaurants and La Boheme is a great addition to the line-up of wonderful eateries in Palo Alto.

Went for Brunch, loved the ambiance of this French restaurant, the food was lovely. I would have loved to linger over a second cup of coffee but was very crowded. The eggs Benedict were pure French confections. I will be back.
Love this place!! Delicious food, lovely atmosphere.
Went twice in one week. The service was better the first time. Will definitely return!
Great food.
duck a l'orange was soo good. Found a new wine we loke as well. We will be going back
Pretty disappointing.
The food was very mediocre, but the prices didn't reflect the low quality of the food. Service was ok, but the ambience was quite kitschy; they're really leaning heavily into the Parisian thing (like, why is there a Métro sign above the kitchen?).
I don't know what it is about this place.
.. the warmth of the staff, the awesome French bistro ambience, or the consistently amazing food...but La Boheme makes for a fun night out, and it's become a new favorite of mine (3 times this last month!!).
The service was excellent.
We each had onion soup and the Croque Monsieur both of which very good. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We will definitely come here again
Dinner with 4 friends on weekday evening.
Ordered bouillabaisse and requested seafood NOT be overcooked. When served, taste was okay - not great, but every seafood item was so overcooked I ate less than 5%, Shrimp hard and dry, could not swallow. Shellfish hard and tasteless. Just dipped pre-dinner bread into liquid. The bread with the dish was appreciated as nothing else was edible. Owner/partner came by to chat, never really interested in how food was, just doing "social rounds." Every place can have subpar nights, but this was at 1 percentile level, and will NEVER go back.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

My reservation expired but I did not get a credit and I see no way to cancel. How do I the funds back as a credit?

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
