La Boucherie is an upscale restaurant with an immaculate view of Los Angeles. We came here for my friends birthday.. and the service was amazing! We came on a Wednesday night & got seated immediately (with reservations). This is located on the 71st floor at the intercontinental hotel. The scallop pasta was very tasty and flavorful and the scallops were HUGE. Since La Boucherie is known for being a famous steakhouse, I regret not getting steak. The views at night are absolutely stunning. I loved the ambiance of this place... it was very intimate and romantic. Perfect for a date night. PS: this price is a bit on the pricier end $$$$

Nice view of city. At top of Wilshire Grand, inside Intercontinental Hotel in DTLA. Steaks and seafood menu. It is on pricey side. So come prepared for the price and services. Broccolini, asparagus, sea bass, filet mignon, beef short rib all cooked to our liking. Excellent service. Excellent place to impress and for special occasions.

located on one of the high floors of the intercontinental hotel, this is a very fancy, high end steakhouse. 'tomahawk': presentation was 10/10, portion is a good size for 2-3 people! it tasted nice and tender! 'ribeye': got it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly! but I found that it was a bit salty tho.... 'scallop pasta': this dish was pretty tasty and had good flavor! the scallops were big and plump, but again I feel like they were seasoned a bit salty too. 'mac and cheese': simple, classic mac and cheese, nothing too special. loved the overall service, we even got a complimentary appetizer which was so nice! food wise, the steaks and dishes were decent, cocktails were good, but you're definitely paying more for the views and overall experience.

I think everyone should come here once in their lifetime just for the experience. Amazing amazing views. The food is honestly average and over priced but I think you are really paying for the view and ambiance. Our waitress was amazing I couldn't get enough of her and she really made the whole experience even more amazing, I believe her name xoicha, she is great and you will be blessed if she is your service. Above and beyond any service I've ever had, this restaurant has a gem (her). ::food Steak platter - 7/10 it was okay not bad but not good just average. It was definitely on the salty side. This is probably my least favorite steak I've had at a steakhouse BUT the views and service make up for it. I would probably only come here again if I had guests from out of town just because the views. Garlic broccoli- 8/10 it was good but just average good. Frites - 7/10 it was very mushy and average to me. To be fair my husband loved it. I wish it had more of a crunch. Mac n cheese - 10/10 definitely my favorite from here, it was so cheesy and full of flavor, don't skip this dish. I enjoyed it a lot. Dessert Chocolate cake 10/10 soooo yummy and straight to the point when it came to flavor and richness. Love it.
Only the view is great.
The food is way too salty but can't say the crab cake was bad. Other than the crab cake, everything else was way too salty for a Michelin restaurant :(

Overpriced for ok food, steak came out cold and we waited over 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Had requested for a window table upon reservation which was not honored even when we asked a couple of times. Service was slow. Not impressed.
Unacceptable customer service.
They are not interested in return customers. La Boucherie is only concerned with selling big ticket items and you are not welcome to dine here if you just want cocktails and Appetizers. The server even instructed us how to order, saying we had to order an appetizer before ordering main course. When the server was informed we would only be having drinks and appetizers, we were told to leave. Additional, the glassware and cutlery were dirty, which is unacceptable for a restaurant that acts so high and mighty. This is a glorified airport lounge.

Well I might have to say my mussels were cooked perfectly, but the sauce was blaaa. No herbs etc. my husband did not like his a chicken cordon blu and the owner had the audacity to say my husband had too much to drink and since he indicated I was a gourmet cook, that I did not know how to cook as he was a chef. I also forgot to say he agreed that his Frites were frozen French fries. I do not even eat them at home. Frites are very easy to fry or bake from scratch at home.

My friend and I were in the area, and we were like, "Why not eat a snack with a nice view?" I went and was seated right away, and the view was immaculate. I had some mac and cheese and lobster bisque, which was so delicious! The mac and cheese was some of the best I've had, and the lobster bisque was good! Could have used a little more lobster bits, but other than that, great. The servers were nice and attentive. Great atmosphere to go with a friend, not great for a group environment, I would say. Would be a cute place for a date. Keep in mind: Pricey for those who can't afford it!

Disappointing Experience at Overpriced Steakhouse This place is a joke. I ordered a $75 filet mignon cooked medium but it came out medium-well. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for new steak so I tried to just eat it, but it was too dried and chewy to enjoy. When I called the server to address the issue, he claimed that the lighting made the meat appear overcooked. ???????? For a high-end steakhouse boasting such a stunning view and interior, it's unacceptable that they can't even cook meat properly, and the servers make absurd excuses. I don't know how they still stay in business.
