La Causerie Paris Reviews from The Last Year
A real gem!!
Finally, a real restaurant in Passy, with a warm and attentive welcome. As for the cuisine, it is simply delicious, mastered cooking, fresh products for real, home cooking, excellent value for money in a neighborhood where places like this are rare. We recommend
Perfect brasserie in the 16th district.
Excellent cuisine, Ingredients are seasonal and carefully selected by the Chef. The Ris de Veau: exceptional. The wine menu has some interesting finds like Chateau Simone. My favourite brasserie in the 16th for sure!

Very good, but be careful about supplements and prices!
Excellent products and perfect cooking. Side dishes a little "poor" in quantity. Too bad the menu is not highlighted at all (no slate). Impression of being a little "pushed to consume" (surprise on the billing for potatoes!). A little expensive in terms of quality/price ratio.
Great experience!
Very cute little restaurant in Passy. The setting is great, the team is very friendly and the menu changes very regularly. Everything is very good and very fresh, to make again very quickly!
Worth the trip
Excellent kir (worthy of my memories of that served at La Cloche in Dijon) which is rare in Paris. Perfect sweetbreads Efficient and smiling service The only downside was that the dessert offering was too short and the ice creams were out of stock!
Beautiful establishment
A beautiful, well decorated room with space between tables. A short menu of fresh produce, well-stocked plates and very nice flavors. Smiling and fast service. A very good restaurant
A very good evening in all respects
Everything was perfect in this producers' bistro restaurant, from the warm and pleasantly decorated room, to the tables spaced sufficiently apart to preserve a little privacy, the adorable kindness and top professionalism of the waitress, the smiling and attentive boss, the excellence of the tasty dishes (venison gravlax, scallops in bisque, floating island revisited with pink pralines) accompanied by a very good Viognier.
Quality meals and service
Quality cuisine and service. Maybe a little expensive. For a Parisian restaurant, friendly space.
Perfect. we will come back
we came for the sweetbreads....they were excellent..... but the real surprise was the starter: gnocchi garnished with snails, truffle and cream......... ....... "killer"... thank you.. we will come back... too bad it is closed on weekends.....
top
It's perfect !!!! The plates are as generous and careful as the service! Smiles, friendliness and sincerity are there! An excellent table at prices that defy all competition! A big thank-you ! We noted the address, we will come back again and again!
This was our first dinner in Paris and it was our first
This was our first dinner in Paris and it was our first trip to Paris as well. It was a recommendation from our air bnb host and we arrived to Paris in the evening so we decided to check it out. For this being a first Paris restaurant experience, it was a little difficult just getting here and the whole menu being in French and not knowing what to order or if we are ordering right. But, I am SO glad we came here and it truly was an authentic French dinner experience! The waiter was extremely nice when he realized we didn't speak French very well and needed help with the menu. He talked about the dishes they had and the food we ordered was amazing. The poor quality photos show just how good it was and in the moment we were while there. The dessert was one of the best desserts I've had, it just melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this spot for a nice dinner and will definitely be back on our next trip to Paris!

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
