Our first night in Paris was made even more special with a dinner at Le Florimond. Upon entering the restaurant, Laurent and Hugo made us feel welcome and valued. They also made a point to learn our son's names and address them at the table (recognizing children and making them comfortable does not go unnoticed for me). The meals were exceptional (duck confit, wild boar, crispy mackerel), deserving of their Michelin star. The atmosphere was relaxed while also sophisticated. I cannot wait to return to Paris for another meal at Le Florimond!

This is always our first go to for our first evening in Paris. Always a special treat. Laurent gives a warm welcome and introduces us to yet another memorable evening at Le Florimond. Over the years we have recommended this restaurant to family, friends and business colleagues. Without exception every one responds, "I can hardly wait to return.' We almost always return for a second or third visit each time we are in Paris.Mayor DShrewsbury, NJ
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I visited Paris in early June, 2022.
Le Florimond was our favorite restaurant of the lot. We liked it so much that, upon finishing our first meal, we immediately asked the Manager, Laurent Martin, for a second reservation later in the week.Mr. Martin was a congenial and highly professional restaurateur. It was evident that he and his business partner and Chef, Pascal Guillaumin, not only took great pride in their offerings, but LOVED their jobs. Every dish was an immaculate creation, which tasted every bit as good as it looked. On our first night, I enjoyed the Duck liver foie gras, the Duck Confit, and the hot apple pie. My wife enjoyed a unique and delectable vegan taco creation, and our favorite dessert of the week, strawberries with mascarpone. On our second night, the highlight was the stuffed cabbage entrée and the Soufflé of blood orange marmalade and grand Marnier for dessert. The creativity, presentation and taste of these dishes, sourced from local producers, were truly exquisite. Even the bread, regularly sourced from the bakery right down the street, was at a level higher than all the otherwise outstanding breads we had across Paris. In closing, the added treat of Le Florimond was the charm of Mr. Martin. Quick to greet all his customers, and equally quick to check back and chat with them over the course of the meal, he never forgets a face or a name. Over our week's stay in the 7th, we often saw him outside the restaurant, on Avenue de La Mott Piquet as we were returning from some expedition. He always recognized us and waved or chatted. It must also be recognized that all this came from a gentleman who probably works 16 hours a day at his craft.Congratulations to both Messieurs Martin and Guillaumin for operating one of the best restaurants in the city. We will be back. Until then, Bon Appetit!Ed and Penny GoodinChesapeake, Virginia, USA

Have eaten here a few times while traveling to Paris - this place is top notch! The owner is amazing, kind and attentive! The food is absolutely delicious - we had the hake, beef, and soufflé- amazing! Highly recommend stopping in and making a reservation as the restaurant is very small - we made a Friday night reservation on Wednesday and had no problem- this is a must do if you are a foodie - can't wait to travel back!
Be the first to ReplyI dine here every time I visit Paris.
It is small and you need to call ahead. The food is so well prepared by the team that you will always go back. I have sent more people here when they ask me about where to eat!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful restaurant for a cozy, romantic dinner in Paris.
Owner and staff friendly and funny. The food and wine were delicious.
Be the first to ReplyI had a spectacular experience here at Le Florimond.
The first thing I noticed when I came in was how friendly and welcoming the waitresses and the staff was. The waitress made our experience really enjoyable as she talked to us and kept checking in with how we were doing. The food was amazing too. I got the lobster ravioli and it was so flavorful. For my main course, I got the duck and it was just as flavorful. They cooked it perfectly and it was tender, not dry like most ducks I've had. Overall, the service stood out to me as outstanding and the food did too. I'll be back to this restaurant when I visit Paris again!

Attentive staff, excellent wine list, intimate setting. The food from lobster ravioli appetizer, duck confit, beef tenderloin through desert was nothing short of spectacular. This a must go to spot. English speaking staff were just great. Add this one to your list!

Best meal in Paris!!!!! We spent our anniversary at this small restaurant and the food was amazing, the staff was very friendly and made it a great evening. I had the duck confit which was phenomenal! I highly recommend Le Florimond but make a reservation as several walk in guests were turned away.

None of my party could speak French but the staff made sure we understood the menu. We were all very happy with our meals And the service.

Wife and I made reservations as found this highly recommended in our guide book to Paris. The service was fantastic and we felt very comfortable as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. Host and waiter worked tirelessly to make sure all our needs (and the other guests) were met. Host Offered menus in both English and French and was happy to answer any questions. Unlike some places in Paris, these hosts/waiters were quite attentive and really took pride in their work. I had the duck confit which was very rich. Skin was cooked perfectly with right amount of crispness. It's a heavy dish but o enjoyed it very much savoring every last bite. Also had lobster ravioli which was also delicious but filling. The chef can also be seen hard at work through a glass door. He's always looking into the restaurant seemingly to make sure everything is running smoothly. Everyone works well together and this shows in the quality of the food. Would highly recommend. This place is a bit more expensive than the average cafe/restaurant but I think the service and quality of food makes it worth your time. Dinner 6/11/19

Fantastic restaurant - great food, great service and a great ambience. In fact, this was far and away our best dining experience in France including here in Paris where we dined at Le Fontaine des Mars. So, where do I start? Our server, friendly Laurent with the colorful ties, greats everyone like they are family with a smile on his face; the food is excellent from entree through dessert, each dish carefully prepared and presented; and restaurant is cozy and comfortable - the tables are not crowded together like other French restaurants. What's more prices are very reasonable with a complete menu of entree, main, and dessert for 40 euros. So, if you are looking for an enjoyable evening out, look no further than Le Florimond. And when to there, say hi to Laurent for me!

Went to this place on my first ever weekend based on the Yelp reviews. The food was great. My friend had the scallops and I had the stuffed cabbage. The service exceeded expectations and truly made the experience for us. Our visit was late on a Friday night in January. I hope that your visit is as pleasant!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic French Restaurant right near our hotel.
Stumbled upon this gem. Superb service, very friendly to non-french speakers, excellent food. The charcuterie plate was amazing, so was the Lobster ravioli, I loved the Lamb leg. Dessert was excellent too. Much better than the brassiere's nearby and I thought it was a good value for a pre-fixe too. Definitely a winner!
